Flynn tried to keep himself positive, but he couldn’t help looking towards the waves. Suddenly, Nathan’s stomach convulsed.
Scarlet had never seen this before and curiously leaned forward to see what was happening with Nathan’s stomach. The more she leaned forward, the more her embroidered bra was revealed as it threatened to burst open.
Flynn raised an eyebrow and instinctively lifted his toes.
“Huh? It looks like there’s a rabbit jumping in his stomach!” Scarlet exclaimed just as Nathan tilted his head and vomited black blood.
His mouth spewed out black water like a fountain, splattering onto Scarlet’s hand. She held onto Nathan’s head while screaming in disgust.
Flynn rolled his eyes at how quickly Nathan had thrown up; he hadn’t even seen everything yet. “Alright, put his head down,” Flynn said as he pulled out a silver needle from his pocket after disinfecting it.
“Master, King of Poison ran away with Garrett!” Nathan looked much better now but still seemed drunk; he struggled to keep his eyelids open.
“Don’t worry; he won’t leave Niarak. Just rest for a few days.” Flynn waved him off casually.
He had just entered the house and discovered the residue of several herbs, all of which were highly toxic herbs, including a half plant of Bloodwort.
This made Flynn more certain that Garrett’s fight for Bloodwort was related to the King of Poison.
Based on the residue of the herbs, Flynn deduced that the King of Poison must be refining a certain type of poison, and the demand for Bloodwort was significant. Otherwise, they would only need to buy a few pounds of Bloodwort, not a ton.
If Bloodwort was still at Energence Pharmaceuticals, the King of Poison wouldn’t easily leave and must have found another place to hide.
Scarlet looked bewildered.
Her focus was not on the King of Poison but on Nathan’s address to Flynn.
Nathan was the legitimate grandson of the Fletcher family, a royal family at the foot of the imperial city. This person, who would become the future head of the Fletcher family, was actually calling Flynn “Master”.
Not “teacher” but “Master”!
Oh my goodness!
Where are this guy’s limits?!
The more Scarlet thought about it, the more shocked she became.
“Why are you just standing there? Let’s go!” Flynn said to Scarlet, then helped Nathan out of the courtyard and placed him in the back seat.
He drove Nathan to the Crimson Star Hotel, prescribed some medicine, and then took Scarlet back to Thodell Mansion.
…
The Powell family.
“What? That piece of land belongs to the God of War, Cruz?!”
A loud shout echoed, startling the birds perched on the trees.
In the hall, a middle-aged man with bushy eyebrows, sharp eyes, and a fierce appearance suddenly stood up from his chair.
This man had a burly figure, a fierce countenance, a stubble-covered face, and an imposing presence akin to a mountain. His voice was as thunderous as his appearance.
He had just been furious about his son being seriously injured, but upon hearing Braiden’s introduction, his eyes widened with surprise.
Braiden awkwardly smiled and shook his head. “Mr. Powell, you’re busy with countless affairs, so it’s understandable that you’re not up to date with the latest news in Niarak.”
“But you should have heard about Rose’s rise, right? It’s all thanks to the God of War, Cruz!”
Mark’s fiery eyebrows creased slightly.
Apart from attending meetings at the headquarters of the Eight Extremities School and networking in other cities, he hadn’t paid much attention to the situation in Niarak recently.
His son, Frederick, was a playboy and didn’t care about inter-corporate affairs, so he had no idea about the underlying secrets.
However, Mark had heard about Rose’s rise, but as they had no connection, he didn’t delve deeper into the matter.
“What does it matter?” Mark said coldly, after a moment of shock. “Flynn is just a dog of the God of War. He shot off my son’s leg, so breaking his limbs shouldn’t be a problem for me!”
“Heh… The God of War is not to be trifled with, but my family is no pushover either. If we break all four of his dog’s legs, what can he do to me?”
Before the words had even settled, a powerful voice echoed from the courtyard.
“Of course, no problem! But before that, Mr. Powell, please help me with one thing!”
The King of Poison, Ayden, and Garrett walked in.
“Mr. Spears, who is this?” Mark looked at the thin old man and furrowed his brow.
He could feel the old man’s inner strength, just as profound as his own.
A grandmaster!
Before Garrett could answer, Braiden suddenly stood up with a look of surprise and reverence. “I pay my respects to the King of Poison!”
Upon hearing this, Mark was instantly shocked.
King of Poison Ayden?
Ah…
This was a notorious old villain!
Responsible for the deaths of countless people, ruthless and violent, a bloodthirsty killer.
He didn’t expect him to be a frail old man barely reaching a height of 1. 6 meters!
Ayden nodded slightly at Braiden and said calmly, “You have matured a lot in the past ten years. I remember when you asked me for Bone Jade, you were only 21 years old. How did it work?”
“You’re right. When I was 21 years old, your Bone Jade was indeed effective. Tinley committed suicide half a year later.” Braiden said with respect.
Upon hearing this, Mark was even more shocked.
He didn’t expect Tinley to be killed by Braiden, and he certainly didn’t expect Braiden to be so ruthless at just 21 years old.
What he least expected was how sinister the King of Poison’s things were.
“I heard that you’ve been in exile overseas for ten years. Why did you come to Niarak today?” Mark steadied his mind and asked with a smile.
“Naturally, I came to give you a chance to rise to great grandmaster!” Ayden said with a smile.
Mark knew that this was not the King of Poison’s true purpose for coming to Niarak, so he smiled and said, “I’m having a hard time understanding your words.”
“Help me kill Cruz, and I will help you ascend to the position of Great Grandmaster!” Ayden got straight to the point and said.
“Kill the God of War?” Mark hesitated for a moment and said with a fake smile, “Setting aside the fact that Cruz is a Great Grandmaster, I have no chance against him.”
“Even if I killed him, how can a grandmaster like you help me become a Great Grandmaster?”
Braiden was also surprised when he heard this, but he quickly smiled.
Ever since the God of War helped Rose, he had become his enemy. Killing him with the King of Poison would be a dream come true!
Ayden said proudly, “Cruz is indeed a Great Grandmaster, but my Fever Powder is not weak either. It can weaken a Great Grandmaster’s strength by thirty percent.”
“As long as you and I join forces, we won’t fear the Great Grandmaster!”
Garrett chimed in, “Mr. Powell, the King of Poison has used Fever Powder to kill two Great Grandmasters before. Cruz won’t stand a chance against you and the King of Poison.”
Mark smiled upon hearing this.
He didn’t know this guy, so who knew if he really killed two Great Grandmasters or if it was just bragging?
Anyone could talk big.
Besides, if he’d killed Great Grandmasters, why bother coming to him?
Go do it yourself!
Ayden saw through Mark’s thoughts and narrowed his eyes, saying, “Of course, I can do it myself, but to be absolutely sure, I invited you to join me.”
“Because the reason I came to Niarak this time is mainly for an important person. I can’t afford any mistakes!”
When the King of Poison mentioned the second sentence, there was a clear look of respect and awe, which piqued the curiosity of everyone present.
There was someone in this world who made the King of Poison wary?
He was a demon who killed without mercy, even his own parents!
“May I ask who this important person is?” Mark asked.
Ayden took a deep breath and lowered his voice, saying, “Mr. Powell, have you heard of the great battle that took place ten years ago, where hundreds of grandmasters fell inthe outskirts of Niarak?”
