“Flynn, why are you so shameless? Our relatives have already made it clear that they don’t welcome you, so why did you come here?”
“If you want to eat the food from Staraid Hotel, I can pack some leftovers for you. Bring two friends and come over. Are you trying to disgust me on purpose?”
Paulina rushed over with her hands on her hips and shouted furiously. Her whole body was tense.
“Paulina! You’ve said so, what’s the point of shouting? Hurry up and drive him away!”
“Yeah, my mood was good today until this waste ruined it all. It’s disgusting.”
“I’ve lived for decades and I’ve never seen anything like this before. Matteo’s family must be ashamed.”
The Kaur family looked as if they had just seen dog poop; they were disgusted beyond measure.
Charlotte looked at Odin disdainfully and said, “Flynn is a waste who lets people mooch off of him for a meal. And now that he invited both of you here too?”
“I can tell that neither of you are any good either; trash without any dignity!”
The man had dark skin with calluses all over his hands while cement stains covered his sneakers, obviously a construction worker.
The girl dressed cleanly enough but she wasn’t shy or modest as one would expect – just another shameless person!
Madeline sighed and said to everyone, “Since they’re here now, let them eat together too. I’ll ask the waiter to add three chairs.”
The Kaur family went crazy.
“Add chairs? Madeline, are you kidding me? We can’t eat when that waste is sitting next to us!”
“The seats have already been arranged; we can’t add more chairs anymore. Don’t blame us for being ruthless but maybe Flynn could ask the hotel staff for three bowls instead so they could eat outside at the entrance!”
“My dogs haven’t even sat at our table yet but he thinks he deserves a spot there? Let me tell ya’, it ain’t happening!”
Flynn made them suffer so much through the contract, not only did they not receive any of the two hundred million in profits, but also half of the year-end bonus was wiped out. Now, they were thinking about having a meal together? No way!
Harriet, with a thin face, burst into tears upon hearing the Kaur family members say that, “Flynn, let’s go. I’ll cook for you when we get back…”
“Flynn, we shouldn’t eat this kind of meal. Let’s go!” Odin said with a stern face, attempting to pull Flynn away.
Flynn remained motionless, gave everyone a cold glance, and said indifferently to Madeline, “You’ve misunderstood. I had no idea that your family was dining here. Bringing friends over was not for a free meal!”
After speaking, Flynn turned to Odin and said, “Let’s go to the counter and reserve a private room.”
The Kaur family burst into laughter. “We didn’t expect this guy to have some self-respect. He wants to spend his own money just because we don’t agree with him in front of his friends!”
“Flynn, even the cheapest private rooms at Staraid Hotel cost over 150, 000 without including food and drinks! Can you afford that?”
“I can’t believe it. He came over here begging for our approval and got rejected. Instead of leaving gracefully, he’s trying to act tough!” The Kaur family laughed mockingly.
Charlotte looked at Flynn coldly and sneered, “Staraid Hotel is always fully booked every day except for the top floor Castle in Sky. Even if you had money, you wouldn’t be able to get a reservation there.”
“And your two friends look like they’re broke. Taking them somewhere fancy would make them happy enough already. Why do you need to show off here?”
Paulina was also angry as she shouted at Flynn, “Flynn, take your friends away now! This is the Kaur family’s celebration party; I don’t want others laughing at us!”
Harriet saw this scene and quickly pulled Flynn aside while whispering, “Flynn, that lady just said there are no more private rooms available here. Let’s leave now.”
Flynn’s face suddenly turned cold as he spoke indifferently towards the Kaur family, “Who are you guys? Do I need your permission whether I stay or leave?” After speaking, he turned around towards Odin and his cousin.
“It doesn’t matter; since there are no more private rooms available here, let’s go eat at Castle in Sky on the top floor instead.”
“You’re crazy!” Paulina shouted angrily after hearing what Flynn said.
Several passing guests also chuckled upon hearing what Flynn said.
Castle in Sky, located on the top floor of Staraid Hotel.
The entire restaurant was made of glass, with an area exceeding seven hundred square meters. Dining there felt like sitting in the air, providing a panoramic view of the entire Niarak landscape.
Hence, it was called Castle in Sky, exclusively serving Staraid VIP Card users.
Inside, there were eighteen top-tier chefs, and the female servers, whose figures were comparable to supermodels, provide imperial-level service to those dining there.
“Want to go to Castle in Sky with that appearance? It’s really funny. Doesn’t everyone know that it’s not open to the public?”
“Castle in Sky is a place only accessible to Staraid VIP Card holders!”
“There are thirty-two Staraid Hotels nationwide, and each hotel only issues one Staraid VIP Card. There are only about thirty top-notch bigwigs in all of Ostrad who can enjoy Castle in Sky!”
“This guy’s got some serious problems. He’s just spouting nonsense here!”
The passersby’s idle chatter made Paulina even more furious, feeling that Flynn had completely humiliated her.
Madeline also spoke up sternly, “Flynn, please stop messing around. You can’t get into Castle in Sky!”
“Even Mr. Kennedy of the Myriad Dragon Merchant Guild isn’t qualified to eat there!”
It was said that the Staraid VIP Card for Niarak’s Staraid Hotel was still held by the Fletcher family’s grandson, and the other thirty-one people wouldn’t come to such a small place like Niarak.
In other words, Castle in Sky here was just the Fletchers’ private restaurant and only opened once a year!
Was Flynn crazy to want to go there for dinner?
Today was a big day for the Kaur family, and passing guests were all famous people in Niarak. Seeing this scene would probably make them laugh out loud; not only did Flynn lose face but they themselves would be embarrassed as well.
“If Orion isn’t qualified, then does that mean I’m not either?” Flynn felt inexplicable and coldly said, “Don’t talk about Staraid Hotel; as long as I want it, any top box at any hotel in Ostrad will be open for me!”
Everyone from the Kaur family was stunned when they heard this.
“My goodness! This guy has gone crazy again.”
“It’s so embarrassing; he has completely disgraced our family.”
“I suspect he came here just to cause trouble because he wasn’t allowed to eat with us.”
Charlotte sneered, “Everyone knows what kind of person you are so don’t brag here.”
“You’re talking about any hotel? Do you think you’re an elder at Imperial Center or General Nate of Dragon Cavalry? Do whatever you want?”
Harriet also thought Flynn’s words were too much.
He was just Rose’s bodyguard even though he had good relations with Rose and knew some big shots, it wasn’t enough qualification for him to dine at Castle In Sky.
Odin was speechless too.
He thought his old classmate had become quite successful after becoming head of security.
Who would have thought that this guy would speak so poorly?
Did achieving something little make him forget who he really was?
