Chapter 262 Not Even Qualified to be Called Ants in a Row!

Book:A King Reborn in Shadows Published:2024-6-4

Blaze trembled all over, his mind blank.
Although he didn’t know Flynn’s exact identity, anyone who could make Travis treat him like a VIP was not someone to mess with!
Last time at Rhinowares Group, Blaze tried to trick Flynn into giving him the Ponocord Bay contract and humiliated Madeline.
Flynn hit him and Travis’ son Bryant.
Blaze thought he could do whatever he wanted with Bryant’s backing, so he immediately called Frank and asked Flynn to come apologize. In the end, he got beaten up again in the hospital. He thought Travis would help him out but instead watched as his son got beaten up too.
Later on, Blaze found out that Flynn was actually an important person – a benefactor of the Pearce family who were one of Niarak’s most powerful families (even more respected than the Richardson family), and Roman’s mentor in medicine!
This meant that in front of Flynn, Blaze was nothing but an ant! But little did Blaze know that if Flynn revealed his true identity, then even being called an ant would be too generous for him. It might just scare him to death!
“Hmm?” At this moment, even Flynn noticed Blaze and narrowed his eyes slightly.
Everyone was stunned.
Blaze had already held Odin at knifepoint when suddenly dropped his knife and fell down on his knees!
They followed Blaze’s gaze only to find that Flynn had appeared at the door of the hall.
What was going on?
Everyone wondered.
Blaze started hitting himself left and right while trembling, “Mr. Clark, I’m sorry I didn’t know you were here; I disturbed your peace! Sorry!”
Boom!
Harriet et al were shocked.
Odin felt like he was dreaming too.
After replying back to Blaze earlier, Odin had already prepared for the worst, at least losing a leg or something similar, but now this fierce gangster from Niarak’s underground world who dared not give face even to second-tier aristocrats knelt down before seeing Flynn?
He kept slapping himself in disbelief while looking full of awe and fear!
Even the bald man and other tough guys were shocked by what they saw: how could someone like Blaze kneel down before a young man? What happened?
“Why are you here?” asked Flynn coldly.
Blaze stuttered as he explained what happened.
Flynn’s face turned cold suddenly as she said indifferently, “So what are you planning next?”
After hearing this question from Flynn, Blaze shuddered again before quickly standing up and saying to Harriet, “Miss Hamilton, I really didn’t know you’re friends with Mr. Clark.”
“Is this acceptable to you? If you’re willing to relocate, I’ll compensate you with two 150-square-meter houses and a resettlement fee of 500, 000 dollars.”
Blaze’s face was full of anxiety, and beads of sweat were forming on his forehead. He was scared out of his wits.
Travis was a person who needed to be respected he couldn’t afford to offend him! After all, this guy could torture people for fun. The memory of blindfolding Bryant and throwing knives at him still haunted Blaze.
As soon as Blaze begged Harriet for help, the whole room fell silent. It turned out that Blaze was friends with many construction company owners and had offered compensation three times higher than other demolition households just so Flynn wouldn’t get angry.
“Miss Hamilton, please agree! How about three houses and one million cash? Please!” When Harriet didn’t respond immediately, Blaze’s body broke out in goosebumps.
Harriet wasn’t refusing; she was just shocked by what she saw before her eyes! She only knew that Flynn was the head of security but had no idea how terrifying his background really was!
If only Flynn had been polite when he met them or spoke kindly instead of being so intimidatingly aloof… But no! Instead, Blaze knelt down right away!
What kind of social status gap existed between them?
What?!
Three houses and one million cash?!
Holy crap!
Even Gabriel couldn’t believe it after getting beaten up by Flynn earlier. He felt ashamed when he thought back on how he’d offended him before.
Why did Flynn act like nothing fazed him?
Why did he always remain calm?
Because he had the power to do so!
Because he didn’t care about dealing with small fry like Gabriel!
“All right then! I agree… I agree…” Harriet quickly nodded her head.
Blaze finally breathed a sigh of relief but felt anxious again when seeing Gabriel half-dead on the ground. He quickly apologized to Flynn, “I’m sorry Mr. Clark for beating up your friend like this… it’s unforgivable…”
Flynn glanced coldly at Gabriel before saying indifferently, “It doesn’t matter; we’re not even acquaintances.”
“You can take him away now. There’s blood all over the yard!”
Blaze nodded hastily, “Of course! We’ll take care of it right away without bothering you any further.”
His gaze fell on Gabriel, and it grew colder by the second. This guy must have angered Flynn, how could he be spared? “Take him out and beat him again!”
Gabriel was shocked at the sight and quickly begged for mercy, “Mr. Clark, save me! I was wrong, please help me say a word!”
Flynn’s phone rang once and without even looking at Gabriel, he opened the message from Rose.
“Braiden invited me to meet at the estate with Corbin, our herbal supplier, and Tristan Howe who handles our distribution.”
“The time is set for 5 pm.”
Flynn replied, “Why bother with him? Let’s not go!”
Rose replied, “Corbin and Tristan have already agreed.”
Flynn frowned.
These two people were new to Niarak but knew about Braiden’s relationship with Rose. They probably wanted to make a good impression so they agreed to their request.
“Let’s go together then. I’ll contact you this afternoon,” Flynn said before turning off his phone.
Gabriel had already been dragged away by the bald man.
Blaze came over to Harriet with a polite smile, “Miss Hamilton, although I may not be important in Niarak society yet, I still have some face in Wreocep North District.”
“You are Mr. Clark’s friend now; if you ever need anything, just let me know and I’ll take care of it for you!”
After speaking these words, he smiled at Flynn before disappearing like smoke into thin air.
Everyone was stunned when they saw this scene; their mouths hung open in shock.
Harriet couldn’t believe everything that had happened today.
The changes that occurred today were too surreal!
Thanks to Flynn’s reputation, she received several times more compensation than expected.
Blaze tried hard to win over Flynn so much that he became friends with her!
She had only known Flynn for three days but he helped her do so many things…
He stood up for her; cured her grandfather’s illness; scared Blaze away…
Thinking of all this made Harriet feel infinitely grateful as tears welled up in her clear eyes before falling down onto the ground as she knelt down before Flynn saying, “Flynn… you are my benefactor… please accept my bow of gratitude!”
