“No wonder Rose hung up on me when I called her earlier,” Flynn thought to himself. “She already knew what happened here.”
“She wanted me to escalate the conflict and make it bigger, so she could use this incident to kick Kamari out of the company!”
“This woman is clearly using me as a pawn,” he muttered, feeling resentful.
Looking at Rose’s stunning face, he suddenly had an urge to rush forward and pin her down.
Kamari was furious and managed to suppress his anger as he sneered, “Rose, you really went through a lot of trouble just to fire me. Did you plan this for a long time?”
Rose could see everything that happened in the parking lot from her office. She didn’t show up because she wanted things to escalate before making a move. She even offered Harry, who has good relations with Kamari, Vice President position while promising him shares in the company. It was simply outrageous.
No wonder no department head came over during Flynn’s beating; they were all on Rose’s side!
This woman was too hateful and treacherous!
“You’re right,” said Rose coldly. “When you were being beaten up, I was having a meeting with eight department heads announcing my decision.”
“Good! Very good!” Kamari laughed coldly. “Ms. Sharp, you know how to play dirty tricks! You’ve played me like a fiddle; well done!”
“But you overlooked my other identity. Wait for it. I will use my family power against Energence Pharmaceuticals!”
“And Clark… Harriet… you can’t escape either!”
After hearing this threat from Kamari, Rose remained expressionless, “If that’s what you’re planning on doing, then I’ll have no choice but send you straight into jail.”
She pulled out a disk from her coat pocket and continued, “This is footage from our factory surveillance system which shows how energetic you really are; wherever you go you touch women inappropriately including harassing my secretary in the parking lot.”
“I can only imagine what would happen if copies of this video ended up at police stations or accidentally leaked into society…”
“You may be charged with sexual harassment which carries sentences longer than three years. Even if your family manages to get you out of prison, they will still lose face.”
“Well… I heard that the head of your family has a very bad temper. If he finds out about these things, it’s probably…”
Rose didn’t continue, just smiled and shook her head, her eyes showing a touch of sympathy.
Boom!
Hearing this, Kamari became even more convinced that Rose had planned against him from the beginning.
“Rose, you bitch, you better not give me any handle, or I’ll definitely come back with a thousandfold revenge!”
Kamari shouted in anger immediately.
Rose’s eyes turned cold, and she disdainfully said, “I give you a chance, cherish it. Don’t use things to threaten me because I won’t fall for it. I also don’t want you to cause trouble for anyone else, or I’ll take the hard drive to the police!”
“You bitch, I… damn it!” Kamari was so angry that he could hardly speak.
After glaring fiercely at Flynn, he got into his Porsche and roared out of the factory area.
With a series of actions, the employees of Energence Pharmaceuticals were all dumbfounded. They had just assumed that Flynn would undoubtedly leave, but in the end, Rose fired Kamari! And she even humiliated him thoroughly, firmly holding Kamari in her grasp.
Now they understood one thing – Kamari had always been arrogant, and Rose wasn’t ignoring him or fearing him. Instead, she was silently waiting for an opportunity to bring him down!
This woman was terrifying. She could endure, seize opportunities, and use strategies!
“With everything resolved, why do you still look so serious?”
“The medical conference is starting tomorrow. Have you arranged for the attending doctors and celebrities to stand by?” Rose dismissed everyone and turned to Flynn.
“Not yet!” Flynn replied irritably, looking at Rose with displeasure. “Do you even know who I am? Kevin begs me for favors and has to kneel. Yet, you’ve used me multiple times!”
He never expected that even the bigwig Achela Gulowski, or the extraterrestrial warlord with hundreds of thousands of troops, who were usually intimidated at the mere sight of him, would be manipulated by a woman in the small city of Niarak!
What angered him even more was that within just ten days, he had been used three times! If the bastards on Demon Island found out, they would probably laugh their teeth off!
“Who are you?” Rose looked at Flynn strangely, raising an eyebrow slightly.
“Of course I know! You came to Niarak to repay the debt you owe my father with your life!”
Flynn was stunned when he heard this and it took him a while before he could speak up in anger, “No wonder you didn’t even flinch after using me. You thought it was only natural for me to help you.”
Rose thought about it for a moment and then asked indifferently, “If someone does us a favor, isn’t it only natural that we return the favor?”
“And besides, didn’t you say that when I had no one else to rely on, I still had you?”
Flynn was at a loss for words after hearing this and sighed heavily.
“Alright… you’re right. I can never escape from your grasp.”
“I won’t share anything personal with you ever again!” He said as he turned around to leave.
“Thank you Ms. Sharp, thank you Mr. Clark!” Harriet rushed over as soon as they finished talking about their private matters and expressed her gratitude.
“I thought I caused big trouble today but thankfully both of you helped me out. Thank you…”
Rose smiled and said, “You did nothing wrong today; it’s my poor management that made things difficult for you.”
“How about this? To show our apology we’ll give three days off work.”
“And also your grandfather is sick right? Mr. Clark happens to know some medical skills so we’ll go visit him in these two days,” Rose added.
Flynn wanted to curse out loud after hearing this plan of Rose’s; she used Harriet but now felt guilty so she wanted make amends by visiting her father?
“This woman has no sense of boundaries! She made the mistake yet wants me to repay her kindness?!” Flynn raged inwardly until he lost his temper completely because of Rose’s suggestion.
“Really?! Mr. Clark knows some medical skills?” Harriet looked surprised but excited at the same time with sparkling eyes.
Not wanting spoil Harriet’s mood, Flynn coughed twice before saying with a smile, “I know some basics; let Ms. Sharp and myself go first then we’ll see what happens.”
“Mhmm! Just call me whenever both of you are free; I will cook homemade dishes for both of you!” Harriet smiled like crescent moons making herself look pure like an ordinary girl next door.
After exchanging contact information between Flynn and Harriet, she left while Rose returned back into their office building.
Flynn scrolled through his phone contacts list until finding Teddy’s number who was Asco Entertainment International’s CEO, and dialed him up immediately.
“Find me several stars who can drive Niarak crazy! Tomorrow morning, I want them all here!”
