“Damn it!” Frank slammed the table in anger. “You dare to keep this big news from us until now? And you’re going to the Swanson’s Group later? You better go there right now!”
“I don’t care what method you use, you must get this contract done!” The Kaur family members were also shocked and angry.
“Rhinowares Group sold to the Swanson’s Group, but they revoked the contract because two requirements didn’t meet those of the Kaur’s Group?”
“God! I thought our family was stable this year. I didn’t expect that even signed contracts would fly away. This is just bad luck!”
“Madeline, you have to get this project done. Our whole family is counting on end-of-year bonuses! Otherwise, we’ll have to default on our recently purchased condo!”
Everyone saw that with a revoked contract, end-of-year bonuses were uncertain and became nervous.
They all demanded that Madeline find a way no matter what and get the contract done.
Charlotte was both angry and annoyed as she coldly said, “I don’t believe how useless you are. You can’t even handle such a small thing yet still call yourself CEO! You should just step down and become an employee instead.”
“You weren’t meant for being CEO; only fit for being bossed around by others.”
Flynn frowned indifferently as he spoke up, “If she can’t do it then can you? If you want to be a parasite, then show some guts like one!”
“Don’t envy Madeline’s position as CEO when you’re nothing without her,” he continued turning towards Frank while speaking indifferently.
“All bark at your own people but wagging your tail like dogs in front of outsiders; looking pathetic!” His words hit everyone like a bombshell causing an uproar in the room.
“You useless waste of space! What business do you have here? Only fit for gnawing on leftovers!”
“Being able to marry into the Kaur family and have a meal is already the mercy of the heavens for that dog. Yet, he dares to act arrogantly in front of us?”
“As long as he’s stronger than the Kaur family, we’re willing to be his dogs, so what? Are you jealous? Too bad you don’t have the ability. You’re only fit to be our dog!”
No one showed any mercy, venting all their anger on Flynn.
If it weren’t for the fear that Flynn had some skills, the people from the Kaur family would have long given Flynn a severe beating.
“Grandpa, I’m going to the Swanson’s Group!” Madeline’s eyes were filled with tears and she felt very aggrieved as she turned to leave.
“It’s just a project, there’s no need to beg Braiden!” Flynn stopped Madeline and looked at Milo.
He understood what was going on now, it was similar to what he had guessed earlier.
Blaze used Bryant’s power to establish Rhinowares Group. After he caused trouble in the hospital, Travis was afraid that Blaze would continue using his name for profit and made his son quit Rhinowares Group. With no support from Travis, Blaze couldn’t hold up on his own so he sold the company to the Swanson’s Group.
Braiden checked Rhinowares Group’s business and found out that they had a contract with the Kaur family. He wanted to take advantage of this opportunity by causing trouble for Flynn.
Madeline also understood instantly.
Milo came this time purely to humiliate Flynn!
This made Madeline angry and resentful towards Flynn. The other members of the Kaur family didn’t know about what happened at Fish Dragon Villa or why Milo came here; they misunderstood Flynn’s words.
“Yes! This is just a small project; there is no need bother Mr. Swanson himself when Mr. Barrett is here.”
“Mr. Swanson likes Mr. Barrett anyway so we can ask him!”
“I have to say that although this idiot may be stupid, his mind is still clear enough. The higher-up of Swanson is here and he likes Madeline; isn’t this situation stable?”
“Madeline should sit next to him quickly, accompany him for some drinks while asking him nicely in front of Mr. Swanson.”
The relatives of Kaur family saw hope after hearing these words; each one began flattering Milo because he was their financial benefactor!
Milo lightly coughed twice before saying with a faint smile, “I can help you but I have one request.”
“Please tell us Mr. Barrett!” Frank replied eagerly.
Milo glanced at Madeline then gave Flynn a mocking smile before saying, “I really admire Madeline but unfortunately she is already married.”
“Madeline has no intention of getting divorced which makes me very regretful…”
“I want Madeline give me a kiss then dance Latin dance with me!”
“After everything has been done, I can guarantee that project will still belong under your family!”
As soon as he finished speaking, Milo looked back at Flynn again with playful cold laughter in his eyes…
Madeline almost fainted when she heard it. Braiden used her as a tool to humiliate Flynn!
“Hey! Just a kiss and dance with Mr. Barrett, what’s the big deal!”
“Madeline, what are you waiting for? Kiss him already! It’s just a kiss, not like you’re going to bed with him! Don’t act like an innocent woman!”
“Madeline, as the CEO of Kaur family, you must prioritize company interests. If we don’t get this project, I won’t get my bonus at the end of the year. Give him that kiss now!”
The Kaur family members all demanded Madeline to comply with Milo’s request and kiss him while dancing Latin.
They didn’t care about Flynn’s feelings at all; he was just garbage without dignity.
They wanted Madeline to do it so they could laugh at Flynn and destroy his reputation.
Flynn’s face turned cold as ice; he never thought Braiden would be so shameless as to provoke him in this way.
Frank saw how difficult it was for Madeline and frowned, “Madeline, why don’t you do what Mr. Barrett wants?”
“You’ll eventually divorce Flynn and marry Mr. Barrett anyway; there is no harm in kissing him now.”
“It is your good fortune that Mr. Barrett likes you. Don’t be ungrateful.”
Madeline’s face turned pale then red.
She understood that even if Milo really liked her, there was also Braiden’s revenge mixed in it – she was just a pawn in their game.
She also knew that she couldn’t agree to their demand but if she refused them , where would the Kaur family go from here? They were counting on this project for survival!
Paulina saw her daughter still silent and stomped forward angrily, “Don’t tell me you have sympathy for that loser?! He is nothing but crap. No need to care about his feelings!”
“Mr. Barrett is your future. Flynn will only become an obstacle on your path towards success!”
“You kiss Mr. Barrett means setting up marriage ties. Stop hesitating and go up there now!”
“But…” Madeline bit her lip hard then shook her head firmly.
If she kissed Milo now, then everyone would see her as promiscuous woman. How could she ever show herself again? And because of this one kiss, Flynn will always feel humiliated!
