Flynn didn’t even glance at Kimber and coldly said to Lilia, “Ms. Hussain, you’re overthinking things.”
“We’ll be sitting in the front row central seats. If you want to outdo Ms. Sharp, you’ll have to sit on the ceiling!”
Flynn’s painting was auctioned off by Easy Auctions, and the owner Micah Everett had been to Demon Island a few times.
Even if he had booked the entire auction house today, Micah wouldn’t dare say a word!
“The front row central seats?” Lilia suddenly looked at Rose’s tickets and smiled faintly.
“Ms. Sharp, you’re clearly in row 12 seats 32 and 33. How did you end up in the front row central seats with him?”
“Does your bodyguard not know how to read?”
Lilia glanced briefly at Flynn with cold eyes as if he wasn’t worth her attention.
Rose was puzzled by Flynn’s sudden words and couldn’t help but look at him.
“We were originally planning on sitting in the back but when we saw you two disgusting people, we decided to sit in the front instead. Any problem with that?” Flynn said indifferently.
As soon as these words were spoken, everyone was stunned before erupting into accusations.
“Only someone like Miss Hussain deserves a seat in the front row! Who are you two? You don’t even deserve it let alone a seat in the front row!”
“If this were ten years ago maybe Ms. Sharp would have qualified for it but now she’s just a boss of a small company who doesn’t deserve anything let alone a seat in the front or even central!”
“This guy is really arrogant! He dares call Miss Hussain disgusting without realizing that one word from her could end his life!”
The front-row central seats were reserved for distinguished guests such as famous calligraphers. Lilia could only sit next to them while Flynn was just an unknown person who dared demand such treatment? It was both impolite and ridiculous!
“As expected dogs can never change their ways.” Kimber sneered disgustingly towards Flynn saying, “My lady helped save your life twice so far.”
“I thought you’d learn some humility but instead became more brazen than ever before.”
“Little did you know that you’ve already caused great trouble for yourself. Be humble or face death!”
Flynn offended Braiden then boasted about it right before Lilia – adding insult upon injury!
“She helped twice? Do I need Layla’s help all day long? Stop bringing this up all time. It’s annoying!” Flynn said irritably.
Upon hearing Flynn’s words, everyone was surprised. It seemed that this guy knew Layla, but their relationship wasn’t great?
Lilia noticed the confusion on everyone’s faces and smiled, “You guessed right. This Mr. Clark knows Ms. Woods and was her fiancé.”
“But Ms. Woods thought he wasn’t a good match for her and broke off the engagement. They have nothing to do with each other now.”
After Luca’s death, Lilia had someone investigate Flynn.
When she saw that Layla had been engaged to him, she was also surprised.
“What?!” When Lilia said this, everyone turned to look at Flynn with shock on their faces.
“Lilia, is your mouth made of cotton? You leak secrets wherever you go!” Flynn said unhappily.
Hearing Flynn speak like this made everyone even more shocked.
“Ms. Woods is as noble as a fairy in the sky! If he had been engaged to her before and has such an impressive background, no wonder he dares to talk like that to Miss Hussain!”
“Oh my god! He dares to be so rude! His family background must be above Miss Hussain’s! Who is this person?”
“That’s right! If his family really is more powerful than Miss Hussain’s, then he can definitely sit in the front row!”
Lilia saw how rude Flynn was being and her face darkened slightly with displeasure but she quickly suppressed it and smiled at everyone saying, “You’ve only guessed half of it. Mr. Clark’s family is indeed more powerful than my family.”
“But when he was young, his family kicked him out of their ranks. Ten years ago there were reports about him causing trouble for the Clark family which landed him in jail where he just recently got out from.”
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this news; their shock turning into disdainful expressions instead, “So it turns out that he’s just an abandoned son from the Clark family after all. No wonder Ms. Woods broke off the engagement with him.”
“She should only marry someone who can shake up four seas like Cruz War God!”
“Dr. Woods, engaged to such a foul-mouthed, ex-convict trash – it’s a disgrace! He truly deserves to be kicked out. How embarrassing!”
“Turns out, this guy is so despicable! Just a pile of crap, and he dares to compare himself to a celestial being?”
Although the Clark family may be formidable in strength; however since Flynn was just an abandoned son, there wasn’t anything particularly scary about him!
Rose was also surprised to hear this. She had heard about Flynn’s relationship with Layla at the Swanson’s Group estate and knew that Flynn was the abandoned son of the Clark family.
But little did she know, Flynn was sent to prison by the Clark family after causing a scene.
Flynn’s face turned dark as he realized Lilia deliberately brought up the topic to embarrass him, which made him very unhappy.
“I never thought a billionaire CEO would be such a gossiping village woman! A busybody!” Flynn sneered.
The crowd couldn’t help but feel their hearts shrink upon hearing his words.
“Wow! A useless waste of space who can’t even be considered an abandoned child dares to speak like this about Miss Hussain! He’s really asking for it!”
“He probably still hasn’t realized reality and thinks he’s someone important. Just a clown jumping around!”
“Just smelly dog poop, what are you saying? Someone like you doesn’t even deserve to attend an art exhibition! Dirty eyes!”
Everyone was extremely disdainful.
A person with no ability or background dared to act arrogantly here, truly disgusting!
Lilia’s face changed again and again when she heard Flynn insulting her and said unhappily, “I’m just trying to make you realize reality and your own identity!”
“Not talking about anything else, who wears casual clothes at an art exhibition? Are you so poor that you don’t even have a decent suit?”
“It looks like someone crude who has never seen the world from the bottom layer.”
“You’d better hide yourself well. Otherwise, when the head of the art exhibition sees you, they’ll treat you like beggars and kick you out.”
Flynn frowned and asked back, “What others wear has nothing to do with you?”
“Even if I wear flip-flops and shorts with bare arms coming in here, the boss of the art exhibition will still bow down respectfully for me.”
“Or more exaggeratedly speaking if I smashed up this whole event center. Ask Easy Auctions’ boss if they dare say half a word against me?”
After hearing these words everyone was shocked.
“Wearing flip-flops and shorts coming in? The head bows ninety degrees? Do you think yourself as Emperor or something?! No one is going to invite your ass inside!”
“This guy is crazy. Fortunately Ms. Woods broke off her engagement with him. Otherwise, it would ruin her life forever.”
“Smashing up an event center but nobody dares say anything against it? Tsk tsk… Rose must also be insane bringing such brainless people without any manners.”
Rose slightly frowned.
Why did Flynn have such poor self-control that he spoke without thinking when provoked?
“This person is hopeless…” Kimber looked at Flynn shaking her head continuously.
Flynn, however, was dismissive and didn’t bother explaining himself to the crowd. He called out loudly to one of the exhibition staff members, “Go get your boss and tell him Flynn is looking for him!”
