“Paper crane? Oh my god! He’s planning to give a paper crane? What a joke!”
“Nonsense! He must be kidding, I don’t believe he would actually give such a thing!”
“This guy is definitely playing us. Ms. Sharp isn’t well-liked to begin with, and now she’s letting this guy make fun of us.”
Some of the guests around them became angry upon seeing the paper crane, thinking that Flynn was joking with them.
Braiden paused for a moment and squinted his eyes.
“Miss Pearce is someone I like and will become my fiancée in the future. If you’re making fun of her, I won’t spare you!”
“You’re asking for it!”
He thought Flynn was trying to play them by doing something so absurd, but he wouldn’t dare to actually give the paper crane.
Ismael sneered coldly while staring at Flynn with his sharp eyes.
“You won’t make paper cranes just to tease us and then run away later because of your big mouth, right?”
“Don’t worry about that. I’ll follow you all night long. You can’t escape.”
“Just wait patiently until this banquet ends. Then I’ll break your legs,” threatened Ismael coldly.
“For so many years, no one has dared to play tricks on me yet – let alone some dog next to Rose.”
Flynn said indifferently as he frowned slightly, “Who’s joking? I’ll send the paper crane to Miss Pearce in a while!”
“Flynn! Have you had enough already?” Madeline almost died from anger as she scolded him fiercely, “Do you see all these people around here? They are all billionaires!”
“And Mr. Swanson is worth billions too! You’re making fun of them means death!”
“This isn’t where you can joke around like this – leave now!”
“Death?” scoffed Flynn disdainfully, “I’m not joking. Even if it were just a joke, these snobbish hypocrites couldn’t hurt me even if they tried their best.”
“Just ants!”
“Such arrogance! Don’t think that Rose, with her team and resources, can soar to the sky!” Braiden’s gaze was sharp, and he snorted.
“Jumping up and down like a clown – ignorant fool. You have no idea what’s good for yourself,” Ismael stood beside him looking at him coldly.
Everyone became very angry upon hearing these words.
“We’re ants? F***… this guy… he’s too damn arrogant! Forget about Mr. Swanson. My family alone could crush the Sharp family!”
“I’ve never seen such an idiot before in my life. Rose isn’t any better either. She should keep her subordinates under control instead of letting them disgust us on purpose!”
“Such a high-end place, how could such an idiot get in? The Pearce family is preparing backstage, I will definitely inform them later!”
Rose was calm and turned to Flynn, asking, “Are you really going to send the paper crane?”
“When have I ever joked with you?” Flynn tilted his head and looked serious.
Rose stared at Flynn’s eyes for a long time before nodding and saying, “Okay! I believe you!”

Everyone around exploded.
“Are these two serious? They’re crazy! Rose, I advise you not to mess with Mr. Swanson. The Sharp family is no longer what it was ten years ago. If you joke about the Pearce family, there’s no way you’ll come out unscathed!”
“Ms. Sharp probably doesn’t want to think clearly. When she sends up the paper crane, it will be her bankruptcy day!”
“Rose, right now you’re just a small business owner. If the Pearce family gets angry, you won’t even last three days. In front of power, your billions of dollars are just useless pieces of paper!”
Madeline couldn’t help but feel a headache seeing this.
Flynn fooling around was one thing but Rose following along too?
“Don’t stop him anymore. He never does anything without confidence,” Scarlet pulled Madeline aside and whispered.
Madeline shook her head in confusion, “This is too ridiculous. Ms. Sharp is joking about her own future. I don’t know what she’s thinking.”
“If the Pearce family gets angry not only will the Sharp family be done for but also the Kaur family since Flynn goes to deliver their gift.”
Scarlet smiled slightly, “You understand Flynn too little.”
“You need more patience and understanding. Otherwise, there will be a day when regret comes early or late.”
“This is my last time advising you!”
Although Scarlet wanted to win over Flynn herself, she couldn’t help reminding Madeline after all. She still had some conscience as her cousin. If Madeline was willing to listen, and found out about Flynn’s outstanding qualities, and wanted to go on with him, she would consider herself unlucky. If Madeline didn’t listen then she wouldn’t mention it again. Let go of everything else.
After all, this was her being kind-hearted enough.
Madeline snorted coldly, “Scarlet, what did he give you that made you defend him so much?”
“You’re only twenty years old. Just graduated from college. You don’t understand men at all! I’m telling you, the less capable men are, the more they talk!”
“I know what kind of person he is. If you like him, go ahead and chase him!”
“My man must be stable and capable, not like him who talks too much and thinks too highly of himself!”
She was a little angry.
Although Scarlet had graduated from college, she was still immature. Flynn’s sweet talk had won her over!
“Okay!” Scarlet wasn’t angry but rather happy. She didn’t say anything else.
Seeing Rose’s reaction, Braiden confirmed again, “Ms. Sharp really wants this guy to deliver the paper crane? I’m afraid he’ll embarrass himself.”
Rose sneered but didn’t say anything.
“My paper crane has magic power that can make Miss Pearce smile with joy. Mr. Swanson, you don’t need to worry,” Flynn said disdainfully.
Ismael chuckled, “Smile with joy? I’m afraid Miss Pearce will slap you in the face as soon as you deliver it.”
“If your paper crane really has magic power, I’ll pay 100, 000 dollars for ten of them!”
Flynn raised his eyebrows after hearing this and smiled, “Oh? I just came here for breakfast and didn’t expect any unexpected gains. Are you serious?”
Ismael looked coldly at Flynn and said, “I never make empty promises. You can go ahead and deliver it. Let’s see how you die!”
“This arrogant trash thinks Miss Pearce is a child who can be made happy by folding a paper crane?” Everyone burst into laughter with disdainful expressions on their faces.
“If delivering a paper crane could make Miss Pearce happy, then why don’t we just exchange my hundreds of thousands worth of medicinal herbs for dolls to give her instead?”
“That’s called being clever by half; thinking that giving an unusual gift will attract Miss Pearce’s attention when it only backfires on oneself.”
“This guy is just an arrogant clown. Only Mr. Swanson’s gift can make Miss Pearce happy!”
“Mr. Swanson, we heard that your gift is very heavy-duty. Why don’t you show us first?”
Braiden smirked shaking his head mysteriously saying, “This surprise is specially prepared for Miss Pearce. Everyone will see it soon enough.”
