Flynn’s movements were as fast as lightning. Before anyone could react, Justice and Luca were pressed down on the table one after another, and they ate a mouthful of mixed rice fiercely. Their mouths were full of saliva and urine smell, making them nauseous enough to bend over and vomit.
Luca was stunned just now, wondering what Flynn meant by his words. He felt a pain in his wrist before he knew it, and his gun fell off. Then Flynn opened his mouth wide and pulled him onto the mixed rice.
He felt a strong smell of urine rushing into his nostrils. When he reacted completely, both his mouth and trachea were filled with soup!
“I said Mr. Johnston should think twice before doing anything. Once you lose face in some situations, you can never get it back,” said Flynn.
“Why do you always think I’m showing off?”
Flynn sat down on the chair and played with the silver gun in his hand for a while.
Then he unloaded the bullets, disassembled the gun into seven or eight pieces, and threw them back to Luca again.
The guests present were also disgusted beyond measure; they all stepped back two steps for fear of being splashed by their vomit.
They couldn’t imagine that there would be someone who dared not give face to Luca in Niarak; this guy was from Dragon Gate!
“Oh no! It’s getting worse!” Scarlet’s heart sank when she saw how miserable Luca looked; she sighed inwardly that Kaur family would inevitably be implicated again.
This guy Flynn was really tough!
“Eat up this dish completely first; then transfer 19 million dollars back to me if you want me to let you go,” said Flynn calmly.
Luca was so angry that blood rushed up into his head at once but soon sneered coldly, “No one can command me, and no one dares to manipulate my destiny!”
“Clark, you don’t think you have everything under control, do you? You’re too confident!”
As he spoke, he suddenly pulled out another gun from his ankle and aimed it at Flynn again!
Boom!
The crowd stepped back in shock once again.
Luca actually brought two guns with him!
“Mr. Johnston came prepared. Flynn was too confident and shouldn’t have dismantled the gun earlier!”
“Mr. Johnston is meticulous in his work. Last time he wiped out Kevin’s old followers, we suspected it was him but couldn’t find any evidence against him. It’ll be the same this time – there’s nothing anyone can do to stop him!”
Luca’s eyes were filled with anger as flames flickered on his glasses lenses while a sinister chill emanated from his body as he coldly addressed Flynn, “I won’t kill you in front of so many people of course but I’ll injure your arm and claim self-defense if anyone objects – that’s power for you.”
“Eat this rice bowl then kneel down to apologize; tonight I’ll visit the Kaur family where we can talk more.”
Justice saw Luca leave himself an opening and became emboldened shouting, “Mr. Johnston! Kill him now! Make sure he dies immediately!”
“Gag…”
He was already nauseous before but now vomited bile all over the floor due to heightened emotions.
Flynn saw Luca pull out another gun again slightly stunned before indifferently remarking, “You should consider what will happen after firing a shot.”
“Look at this guy, he’s panicking and trying to threaten Mr. Johnston with his words!”
“Mr. Johnston has been in control of Niarak for so many years, do you think you can scare him with your foul mouth? Even when facing death, you’re still talking tough. I’m really impressed!”
“Why bother saying these useless things? If it were me, I would kneel down and kowtow right away. A cat that knows how to scratch people may be fierce now, but in the end it will be bitten to death by a tiger!”
“And what are the consequences?” Luca chuckled coldly.
“The consequence is that your limbs will be broken and you’ll live like a crippled dog in the garbage dump.”
Luca’s eyes turned bloodshot as he recalled what had happened a few days ago.
“Kneel down!” He roared loudly, causing everyone present to tremble with fear.
Flynn remained calm and unmoved; only his icy gaze had turned into a storm brewing inside him. His face was extremely gloomy.
“I’ve said before that some things cannot be undone once they’re done,” he said slowly.
“Are you really determined to do this?”
Luca saw Flynn sitting there calmly without any fear whatsoever and completely lost his temper.
“Mr. Johnston, we can talk about everything peacefully! Shall I apologize on his behalf? Shall I kneel for you?” Scarlet was truly afraid; she stood in front of Luca as if she was going to kneel down herself because she knew Luca would shoot him- he really would kill him!
Even though Flynn might have great martial arts skills which could help him dodge knives or swords perhaps but bullets were something else entirely – there was no way anyone could dodge them!
“Get lost!” Luca forcefully pushed Scarlet away.
Scarlet stumbled and crashed into the edge of the table.
Flynn caught her, steadying her. He squinted at Luca and said, “Do you know that in the Ostrad martial world, there’s a saying: ‘The human body is on par with the divine’?”
Luca clenched his teeth, his voice dripping with menace, “I’d like to see how you can be on par with the divine.”
He was about to pull the trigger; just a slight pressure would activate the firing mechanism.
“Oh my god! Someone’s really going to die!” The onlookers covered their eyes in terror.
“Idiot, move out of the way, move!” Scarlet was terrified and desperately pulled Flynn aside, but he didn’t budge.
“What’s going on?”
A slightly irritated voice came from the staircase.
Katrina descended the stairs slowly, her expression somewhat displeased.
Callie followed behind, and upon seeing the chaos in the hall, she furrowed her brow.
“Miss Richardson, Miss Pearce!”
Luca, upon seeing the two of them, quickly holstered his gun and his enraged expression slightly softened. He walked over, wearing a somewhat embarrassed smile.
“How did you two end up here? I just heard that Miss Pearce recovered from her illness and was planning to finish up my work before going to see you!”
former
The Pearce family was the most powerful in Niarak. Elis was a general, and several leaders in the state department were his old friends. Callie’s father Brandon became a colonel in the Pelens military district and will surely be promoted to major general in the future. And Katrina, not to mention, was the daughter of the city’s mayor and had a PhD from Eahta Medical University.
These two women represented Niarak’s most powerful families, capable of deciding an enterprise’s fate with just one word. Even business tycoons had to be polite when dealing with people who hold real power like them.
Although Dragon Gate was a state-level enterprise, its leader Kai also knew many people in the state department. However, Dragon Gate cannot easily offend the Pearce Family or the Richardson Family because they had businesses in Niarak and must maintain good relations.
“Mr. Johnston, please don’t be so polite,” Callie nodded her head and asked, “What happened?”
Luca smiled and explained, “A guy signed a contract with my brother but then backed out afterwards and hit him. I came here to handle it.”
Katrina was taken aback by this news and couldn’t help but get angry, “How can someone be so unreasonable?”
“To offend Mr. Johnston while disturbing our mood – he has some nerve!” Callie had just recovered from her illness when Katrina invited her over for dinner as an opportunity to ease tensions between their families.
But they were interrupted by a loud roar downstairs which frightened Callie into trembling while making Katrina furious enough that she went downstairs immediately asking what was going on down there!
When she learned about the situation, an endless rage burst forth in her eyes!
