Flynn’s words were like a bolt from the blue, scaring Edwin and Orion almost to death.
“Fynn! What do you want to do?” Madeline’s eyebrows furrowed in anger as she pleaded, “Please, I’m begging you. Don’t cause any more trouble. Can’t you just stop? Please!”
She had been bullied by Alexander and was unable to defend herself. When Rose came over to help her, Virginia rebuked her.
Flynn paid no attention and nearly beat Alexander to death before slapping Evie twice.
If Edwin hadn’t trusted Rose, they would have crawled out today and the Kaur family would have suffered as well.
Now that things had turned out this way, it was a blessing from their ancestors.
But Flynn persisted in his dissatisfaction with the outcome.
Wasn’t he being greedy?
“He is the richest man in Niarak while we are just a third-tier small family!”
“You hit Mr. Gallagher’s daughter. It’s already a great favor that he isn’t pursuing it further. What else do you want?”
“Do you have to push things so far that even the Kaur family has to be buried with you?”
“Mr. Gallagher, Mr. Kennedy, please don’t mind…”
Rose turned around only to find Orion and Edwin had disappeared long ago.
She sighed, “You see, they think talking to you is beneath them and they don’t care about you!”
“Well then, it’s up to you! I have nothing more to say to you,” she said.
Flynn was driving her crazy. She left Niarak International Hotel without stopping for a moment.
At the street corner not far away:
“Orion, wait for me!” Edwin with his fat belly leaned against the wall panting heavily and shouted loudly.
Orion ran ahead of him frantically until he stopped after looking around several times and asked nervously, “Did he catch up?”
“Nope.” Edwin confirmed behind him. The two richest men in Niarak had sat on the ground holding their chests and gasping for breath. After Madeline spoke, they ran.
With just a few words from Evie, if they fell into King of the Underworld’s hands today, they would lose at least three layers of skin.
They didn’t have the courage to face Flynn’s anger directly.
“We can only wait for him to calm down before we go apologize again.”
“Boss told me yesterday that he wants to kill Sebastian tonight. Should we follow along?”
“What are you saying? Do you really think we can participate in this kind of thing? Lock your doors and windows and go sleep! Watch out tomorrow; Niarak will explode!”
Flynn was stunned. Those two guys actually ran away?
Scarlet almost burst out laughing. Since Orion and Edwin appeared, her gaze had not left the two of them. Two Niarak bosses were scared stiff by Flynn, especially when he asked them to stay and they didn’t even dare turn their heads back before sprinting a hundred meters while Madeline was speaking.
“Feeling proud? Happy?”
“Let me tell you, this isn’t over! Haven’t you heard what Alexander said? He’ll have people from Asco Entertainment come over and wait for your demise!”
“Asco Entertainment is ten times the size of the Gallagher’s Group.”
“I wonder how you’ll turn things around when facing such a behemoth!”
“Mr. Gallagher believes Rose Sharp that let you slip through the cracks.”
“Don’t be too pleased with yourselves; if he doesn’t find out anything, then get ready to face our wrath!”
Alexander’s fans left after making their threats.
They thought Edwin would beat Flynn half to death but after they heard what really happened, Edwin actually believed Rose’s words and terminated his contract with Alexander for the sake of company reputation!
Scarlet worriedly asked, “Brother-in-law, what are your plans next?”
Alexander did say he would seek revenge…
Asco Entertainment International was worth billions, more than Myriad Dragon Merchant Guild and the Gallagher’s Group combined. And their boss Teddy was elusive. Only Layla can shake his hand among those who knew him.
Flynn had used up all the opportunities given to him by Layla and she claimed she will have no further dealings with Flynn in the future. But when Flynn said he wanted to kill Sebastian, she can’t help but wonder if he was serious.
Flynn may have some skills, but surely he wouldn’t dare to kill Sebastian?
Headache!
Flynn sneered in response and then turned towards Rose, “The medicinal balm didn’t work.”
Rose snapped out of her daze and nodded.
Ever since Edwin terminated Alexander’s contract, Rose had been lost in thought. Something about the situation didn’t sit right with her, but she can’t put her finger on what it was.
Edwin had always been loved his daughter. Even if Evie talked too much sometimes, would he really slap her across the face? Had Evie done something so unforgivable that Edwin had completely given up on her?
After glancing at her scar, Flynn said calmly, “Why don’t you try my Minor Energy-Enhancing Pill? It’s made from pure herbs and has no side effects.”
“Even if it doesn’t work, it won’t harm you. Let’s exchange contact information in case you have any questions.”
They exchanged numbers and parted ways.
Flynn had reminded her to use the ointment on her wound before but she didn’t listen, which resulted in a more severe scar. So she decided to give Flynn’s pill a shot.
However, she didn’t have high hopes for the Minor Energy-Enhancing Pill and was just trying anything that might help.
Scarlet hadn’t returned home all night. If she didn’t go back soon Paulina would surely complain. After advising Flynn not to go find Sebastian again, Scarlet left.
Flynn ignored her advice and left after finishing his meal.
“Well well well! Look who we have here! Clark the con artist! You must’ve scammed quite a bit of money after getting out of jail since you’re staying at Niarak International Hotel!” Katrina walked up with a cold smirk on her face as she eyed Flynn up and down.
Behind her was an older man around fifty years old carrying a medicine box with a faint herbal scent emanating from him – Katrina’s master Jaxson Gray who had been called in by Katrina to treat Callie when Katrina failed earlier on.
They went over this morning only to find that the Pearce family’s Mansion had closed its doors without letting anyone in. After some inquiries they found out that the Pearce family offered 10 million dollars for Flynn’s services but were refused; now they were trying other methods to get him involved again.
“The Pearce family offered you 10 million dollars to cure Callie’s illness, and you refused?” Katrina teased with a smirk.
Flynn had no interest in this woman and didn’t even bother looking at her. He turned to leave.
“It seems I was right!” Katrina blocked Flynn’s path, speaking coldly. “10 million is enough for an average person to live comfortably for eight lifetimes. Even the wealthy heads of billion-dollar households would take a second look.”
“You’re just an ex-con who doesn’t know anything about medicine if you refuse such an offer,” she continued.
“10 million? So what?” Flynn chuckled dismissively. “If I wanted it, countless people would be fighting to give it to me.”
“And they begged me to accept it!”
