At the same time, in the Niarak branch of Dragon Gate Group.
In a luxurious office, Caleb with a swollen nose and bandaged hands said to Luca, who was signing some company documents without even looking up, “Luca, I went to the Kaur family at noon to get Flynn. That waste wasn’t there. He must have run away!”
Luca replied coldly, “Don’t worry. Even if he ran away, I will catch him.”
Caleb continued complaining, “The person who beat me is still out there and free!”
Luca had been the general manager of Dragon Gate Group for more than ten years and had accumulated many connections. He had also helped a lot in the Group’s acquisition of the Sharp’s Group alongside the Woods family and the Swanson family.
Kai Hussain, the CEO of Dragon Gate Group trusted Luca completely and handed over all matters related to Niarak for him to handle.
With his backing from Dragon Gate Group, Luca was invincible; no one dared underestimate him. Now that his cousin had been beaten on their territory in Niarak – how could he not regain face?
One subordinate waiting for document signatures flattered Luca by saying, “You are truly amazing, boss!”
“Who doesn’t know that Mr. Johnston is a big shot in the Hussain family? If the Kaur family’s son-in-law dares to bully your cousin, we have to teach him a lesson!”
“I feel sorry for how badly they beat up Mr. Johnston. His right eye is so swollen he can’t even open it…”
He spoke with a low voice, his body pressed down as low as possible, his tone fawning.
He was like an old eunuch serving the emperor, being extremely careful.
Although Luca had fair skin and refined features and usually didn’t smile much, he exuded an aura of authority that commanded respect.
Those who knew him well were aware of just how terrifying Luca could be.
Anyone who offended him would disappear by the next day.
Some said that those who crossed Luca had their tendons cut and were thrown into the Shipmeda River.
Others claimed that Luca kept four wolves and fed anyone who angered him to them after chopping them into pieces.
This was why Dragon Gate Group CEO Kai relied so heavily on Luca – he got things done decisively with ruthless efficiency and wasn’t afraid to take lives when necessary; he was like an incarnation of Yama!
Luca slowly lifted his head and glanced at Caleb coldly before saying, “You must have done something wrong to provoke him; there’s nothing pitiable about it.”
“If you weren’t my uncle’s only son, I wouldn’t even bother with your life or death!”
“Since the Kaur family’s son-in-law dared to hit you, then he must bear my wrath!” Luca said coldly.
“But I hope he can put up a fight. It would be boring if he just crumbles and can’t even speak when he sees me,” he added with a smirk.
Caleb tried to test the waters, “Should we go see him? He’ll be here soon.”
Luca nodded and stood up. “Let’s go stretch our muscles,” he said.
Downstairs, several burly men in black stood side by side. As Luca emerged from the building, they all bowed ninety degrees before escorting him into his car headed towards the Kaur family’s residence.
Soon enough, they arrived at their destination. Luca revved his engine and rammed his Hummer into their front gate with a thunderous crash that sent it flying into their courtyard along with a large section of their three-meter high wall.
As dust filled the air, Luca narrowed his eyes and strode inside without hesitation.
A wave of killing intent swept over the courtyard. The big yellow dog in the yard wanted to bark wildly, but when it saw Luca’s murderous face, it tucked its tail and ran into its kennel.
“Mr. … Mr. Johnston, I have caught Flynn who beat your cousin.”
“You can do whatever you want with him, but please don’t involve the Kaur family.” Sam saw Luca come in and quickly bowed and ran over with a smile on his face.
“Flynn is one of our guys. How can you distance yourself from him when something happens? You should all share hardships together!” Luca sneered coldly and walked slowly towards the house.
He didn’t need to mobilize headquarters’ power for such a small family like the Kaur family; his own connections could easily crush them!
“Share… share hardships…” Paulina’s brain exploded, and she collapsed on the ground.
The people from the Kaur family also knelt down tremblingly.
Luca was going to bury them along with Flynn!
Thinking about Luca’s terrifying rumors before, cold sweat kept pouring out of their pores, soaking their whole bodies through.
Flynn looked at Luca and frowned slightly. This cousin of Caleb had no internal strength at all; he was just someone who relied on the Dragon Gate Group to act arrogantly. How could he be related to that big battle?
“Flynn, you think you’re so tough, but I bet you don’t have the guts to back it up!” Caleb followed him in and saw Flynn furrowing his brow. He thought he had scared him and grinned menacingly.
“I wonder how I should punish you?” Caleb pulled up a chair and sat down, pointing at Madeline. “You take off your clothes and crawl over here to sit on my lap.”
“If you please me well enough and make me scream with pleasure, then I’ll spare the Kaur family.”
“And Scarlet, just like Madeline today, I want both of you together… ”
Boom!
Flynn suddenly reached out his hand and grabbed Caleb by the neck lifting him up as if he were a little chicken. He stared at him with icy eyes that seemed to shoot out actual cold air.
“You… cough cough…” Caleb’s heart was pounding wildly as veins bulged on his neck turning it purple.
“Put my cousin down right now or else the Kaur family will suffer!”
Luca’s killing intent surged forward as he quickly stopped the bodyguards who were about to rush forward.
He knew that Flynn really would kill someone in this situation!
“Flynn! You’re crazy! Put Mr. Johnston down right now! You’ll push the Kaur family into an abyss!”
“Mr. Johnston was on the brink of death, you need to let go quickly before he dies!”
“You beast, what kind of sin have I committed to end up with Flynn as my nemesis?”
Flynn ignored the Kaur family’s anger and lifted Caleb, turning to Luca with a cold voice. “Who was behind the chase of my mother Adrianna in Niarak’s southern suburbs ten years ago?”
His voice boomed like thunder, carrying an overwhelming killing intent that felt like divine punishment.
Ten years ago? Niarak’s southern suburbs? Adrianna!
As soon as Luca heard Flynn’s words, his face filled with anger was instantly replaced by fear.
This kid was the son of that woman in white!
