Brandon, dressed in military uniform, entered the room with a stern and imposing presence, like a fierce and mighty dragon. He pushed the door open forcefully.
The entire hall fell into silence. Some individuals had a commanding aura that left everyone breathless when they entered a room. Brandon was undoubtedly one of those people.
The woman in the qipao flashed a look of fear and took two steps back, maintaining a three-step distance from Marcel. She dared not act flippantly in front of Brandon.
Marcel remembered an incident six months ago when Brandon had come to see him, and he scolded Marcel in front of many women. Marcel didn’t dare to confront Brandon, so he vented his frustration on those women, breaking their ribs.
The woman in the qipao didn’t want to bring bad luck upon herself.
“My brother carries a gun with him. Let’s see if you’re quicker with your hands or if his gun is quicker.” Marcel’s eyes flickered with a murderous intent.
“Are you trying to provoke a gunfight?” Upon seeing Brandon’s entrance, Caleb couldn’t help but find it amusing. He remarked, “Wasn’t it said that the Pearce family treats you like an honored guest? Colonel Pearce is here. Do you have the courage to say it again?”
Flynn remained expressionless as he took a sip of red wine.
Marcel used this moment to rush to Brandon’s side and said coldly, “Brother, this kid caused trouble in my hotel and even wanted to kill me!”
“You go upstairs and wait for a moment, I’ll handle him first and then we can talk!”
“Smack!”
A crisp sound.
Marcel took a slap on the face.
“You bastard!” Brandon was furious, pointing at Marcel and cursing, “Mr. Clark cured my father’s illness and promised to treat my daughter as well. Our family owes Mr. Clark a debt of gratitude for life!”
“Who gave you the courage to be so rude to Mr. Clark?”
“My father treated you like his own son. How have you repaid him in these past ten years?”
“You relied on the reputation of my family to deceive people everywhere, finally becoming a billionaire chairman. I can accept that.”
“But why do you treat our benefactor like this? Do you want to make my father die of anger?”
Boom!
Everyone was thunderstruck with their eyes wide open.
Flynn was truly an important guest of the Pearce family!
“How… how is this possible?” Caleb gasped in shock as he felt chills running down his spine from head to toe!
“He’s actually Mr. Pearce’s friend? This is trouble!” The qipao-clad woman shivered, filled with fear.
Marcel covered his face in disbelief and said, “This young man cured his illness? How is that possible?”
Brandon was even more furious after hearing this and slapped Marcel again. He shouted, “I came all the way here just to lie to you? And what about how you called him earlier when my father respectfully addressed him as ‘Mr. Clark’?”
“Listen carefully, Marcel,” Brandon continued. “My father has taken care of you for over forty years out of kindness and generosity. From now on, your life has nothing to do with the Pearce family!”
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Marcel felt like several bolts of lightning had struck him as he fell down on his knees in front of Flynn.
“I didn’t know Mr. Clark was the old man’s savior. It was my mistake and I deserve to die for it,” Marcel pleaded with Flynn not to hold a grudge against him.
Marcel had been in Niarak for many years thanks to his affiliation with the Pearce family but also made many enemies along the way while building a billion-dollar empire.
If he lost this powerful backing from them, he would surely be devoured by his enemies!
Everyone present was stunned by what they saw: the great tycoon who had great influence in Niarak knelt before a relatively unknown young man?
“Flynn cured Elis’ illness!” Scarlet exclaimed, almost jumping up in excitement.
Elis had been suffering from a hidden illness for decades, and despite seeking numerous doctors’ help, even Layla couldn’t cure him. But Flynn managed to do it?
My goodness! That was amazing!
“Madeline, if I like Flynn, you have to give him to me,” Scarlet said.
“Don’t go back on your word!”
“Mr. Clark, how do you suggest we handle this?” Brandon cautiously asked.
The reason he immediately confronted Marcel was not only his frustration with Marcel’s lack of progress but also a desire to protect him. After all, despite Marcel’s unruly behavior, they had a relationship spanning three to four decades.
If he really wanted to hurt Marcel, he didn’t need Flynn’s permission; he could just beat him up until he was crippled.
Flynn seemed to understand his intentions and said after some thought, “Since he’s Elis’s godson and his biological father fought in the war for our country, let’s leave this matter alone.”
Marcel hadn’t offended him much anyway.
He was just a reckless thug, but Flynn ended up beating the top fighter of his own gang. Flynn turned to Marcel, who was silent, and said, “Mr. Hill, this is where it ends.”
“Of course, if you’re not satisfied with this outcome, you can always come find me,” replied Marcel with sweat pouring down his face as he repeatedly kowtowed.
Brandon gave Marcel a cold glance before turning to Flynn and politely suggesting, “Mr. Clark, shall we go?”
Flynn had originally planned on finding Luca himself but since Brandon had come to pick him up and promised to cure his daughter’s illness in return for his help earlier on, he reluctantly agreed.
Let Luca live a little longer!
After the two men left the scene, Marcel let out a long sigh of relief and slumped into his chair.
“How could this be possible? Flynn is nothing more than an ex-convict. How could he have cured Mr. Pearce’s illness?” Caleb refused to believe it.
After being struck three times by Flynn, his body was covered in injuries, and he harbored feelings of resentment and anger. He decided to go outside the Pearce family’s residence to gather information about his true intention.
Peninsula Hotel’s parking lot.
“Flynn! Wait for me!” Scarlet wanted to follow them back to the Pearce family’s Mansion.
“You should go home,” replied Flynn coldly before shutting the car door.
“You…” Scarlet stomped her foot in anger.
She, at least, was a beauty in Pelens. Men who chasing after her can form a strengthened alliance, among which there were also sons of wealthy and influential families.
“Flynn, this old straight man, how dare he treat me like this?”

Flynn arrived at the Graceland Mansion of the Pearce family.
The Pearce family had become like a boiling pot of ants.
“Callie had another seizure half an hour ago, with her whole body feeling hot and trembling, and her movements being light and unsteady.”
“Previously, the medicine given by Miss Woods could make her feel better after a nap.”
“This time it didn’t work at all, and symptoms such as convulsions, cold sweats, purple lips and trembling throughout the body appeared, moreover…”
Everyone was talking at once, but as they got to this point, they began to sigh and lament.
“What are you still being superstitious about at this point in time!”
An old woman, who was so anxious that she stamped her foot, came up to Flynn and continued to say, “Mr. Clark, Callie’s illness this time is more severe than before.”
“Symptoms of foul language, tearing clothes, and touching her own body appeared.”
“There have already been three instances of orgasms…”
The Pearce family all shook their heads.
Callie Pearce was only twenty years old and had never even had a boyfriend. But now, with this rare and shameful disease, the Pearce family felt utterly humiliated.
Elis sat on the couch, tears streaming down her face. “Callie used to be so quiet and reserved,” he said. “But since she got sick, she’s become even more withdrawn and has tried to kill herself several times.”
“If Mr. Clark can cure her,” he continued, “my family will do anything to repay your kindness!”
This disease was incredibly rare – there were less than ten cases reported worldwide. In another country, there was a patient who experienced over fifty orgasms in one day – both mentally and physically devastating for the patient and their loved ones.
“What about medication?” Flynn asked calmly.
Brandon quickly handed him a bottle of pills.
Flynn poured out one pill and crushed it between his fingers before sniffing it. He shook his head as he listed off the ingredients, “Cortex Phellodendri Chinensis, oyster shell powder, dragon bone powder… ”
“It’s just an herbal supplement that nourishes yin energy while reducing heat,” he explained further. “It can suppress symptoms but cannot cure them completely.”
“Taking it for too long can also lead to drug resistance which causes more frequent outbreaks with worse symptoms.”
Elis quickly interjected, “Mr. Clark, do you have confidence in curing Callie?”
“Let’s go up and take a look!” Flynn said, heading towards the stairs.
Just then, a booming voice echoed from the courtyard.
“Mr. Pearce, I heard Callie’s condition has worsened. I called Katrina back from Eahta to come and see her!”
A middle-aged man in his fifties strode into the room with great pomp and circumstance. He was followed by a young woman with an hourglass figure, delicate hands, and an icy demeanor as they walked into the hall.
“Mr. Richardson?” Elis looked at Flynn awkwardly for a moment before reluctantly greeting him.
Travis Richardson was Niarak City’s leader; his daughter Katrina Richardson was a doctor at Eahta Medical University.
Even though the Pearce family held high military rank, they still had to show respect to city leaders like Travis Richardson.
He laughed heartily, “Katrina grew up playing with Callie. When she heard about her illness, she became very worried.”
“They’ve developed a new medicine through collaboration between domestic and international experts,” he continued excitedly.
Katrina smiled gently, “Mr. Pearce, Callie suffers from Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome (PSAS), which is caused by abnormal blood vessels in the pelvic area and brain nerves.”
“We’ve developed an injection using botulinum toxin that can cure this disease!”
The Pearce family couldn’t help but be shocked after hearing this news.
Eahta Medical University was one of the top three medical institutions in Ostrad and had a close collaboration with Karolinska Institute. It gathered many medical experts who had overcome many difficult diseases.
However, when Flynn heard about Callie’s illness, he shook his head and said calmly, “Callie’s illness is different from what you described. She suffers from systemic functional disorder caused by excessive internal heat that triggers nerve sensitivity.”
“To get to the root of the problem, we need to first treat her heart.”
“Your injection not only cannot cure her but can also damage her brain!”
Travis frowned upon hearing this.
Brandon awkwardly smiled and introduced Flynn as “the miracle doctor I invited.”
“A miracle doctor? Him?” Travis looked at Flynn skeptically with a hint of coldness in his eyes. “How could someone so young be a miracle doctor? Colonel Pearce, did you run into some con artist?”
Brandon shook his head with a smile. “Master Clark cured my father’s illness. How could he be a con artist?”
“Isn’t he taking Layla’s medicine?” Katrina furrowed her brows and blurted out without thinking. “There is always a recovery process for treatment. Some medicines may cause adverse reactions after ingestion but will slowly ease over time.”
“You didn’t come here after Miss Woods treated him, thinking that his condition didn’t improve and seeking him out again, did you?”
“Or maybe he took advantage of an opportunity to deceive you?”
Elis and his son were stunned after hearing Katrina’s words, which was similar to what had happened in the Phoenix Hill.
“That’s impossible!” Elis thought for a moment and denied his initial thoughts.
Travis gave a faint smile and said, “Mr. Pearce, there are countless scams in this world. It’s hard to prevent them all.”
“Treating illnesses is not child’s play. There have been many cases of incompetent doctors causing deaths. You need to be careful.”
“If you don’t believe me, I can find out the truth with just one question,” Travis said as he looked at Flynn with a cold sneer.
“Where did you graduate from, young man? Who was your mentor?” asked Travis skeptically. Even the Green Liniment Ghost Doctor’s disciple Layla couldn’t do it; how could an unknown young man cure Elis?
He didn’t believe it!
