The queen arrived at the temple. She told the maidens to wait outside while she goes in to pray.
She got on her knees and started praying with tears in her eyes. “Dear Guardians, I know that you can see me and you can hear the cries of the people. We are all fainting gradually, people are dying and our hope is dwindling. Please, help us.” She prayed.
A light shone brightly in the temple, so bright that the maidens had to find somewhere to hide.
The Queen turned and found two guardians standing outside the temple. She went closer to meet them and saw the inscription of their names on their robe and crown. She fell down on her feet and pleaded with them.
“There is nothing we can do to help,” The guardian of health said.
“This is something your son as to do and it is only right that you and the people have faith in him.”
“How can we have faith in something we are not seeing?” The Queen asked. “People are dying each day and I have no idea what is going on in the other world. I don’t even know if my son has found the girl or not. Who knows, maybe he is even dead. How can we not be shaken when the guardians are against us?”
“We will create a portal to the other world the same day you’d be having the gathering with the people. The portal will be opened for a hour and if they do not get to the portal before then, I am sorry, you will have to wait till whenever they come,” the guardian of nature said.
“We will take our leave now,” The two guardians disappeared.
Chloe rushed to meet the queen, “What did the guardians say?”
“We should expect the Prince’s arrival on the day of the meeting. Hopefully, they see it.”
Chloe nodded as they went back to the palace.

All through the night, they were still searching for the amulets. None of them was willing to take a break until Lucas suggested it.
“We need to take a break, we have been searching for the amulets for hours now.”
“Lucas is right, we should call it a night. We will continue the search tomorrow.” Gwen added.
Phoebe glanced at the prince and she could see the sadness written all over his face. She didn’t know how he was feeling but she could tell that he wasn’t happy. She went closer to him, placed her hand on his shoulders and comforted him. “I am sure we will find it but now, we all need to rest.”
“What if we don’t?”
“Let’s not be negative about this.” Gwen warned. “We will find it,” she assured the prince.
“Let’s go, your highness.” Lucas and the Prince went out of the house.
“I am sleepy already. I will be going to be first.” Gwen yawned and stretched before leaving the room.
Phoebe checked the time, it was 10pm. She decided to take it on herself to find the amulets. She searched under the bed, at the back of the wardrobes to the point that the room became a mess. She was fainting in strength but she didn’t stop.
Chad was watching movie in the sitting room. He saw Gwen going to her room and he waited for Phoebe to show up but she didn’t.
“What is she still doing?” he asked himself. He checked the time, it was 10:15. He watched the clock tick while he waited for Phoebe. Two hours, there was no sign of Phoebe.
He ran to the room only to find her asleep on the bed. He got nearer to her and stared at her for a long time. “Why do you have to be the one?”
He looked at the room and saw how messy the room was. He stood up and tidied up the room. After he had arranged the room, he went to the place where Claudia had hidden the amulet and brought out the amulets he hid in his pocket and returned them back to the place he took it from. He wasn’t sure why he did it but he knew that he was tired of seeing them stress themselves out.
He switched off the light and left the room.
The following morning, Phoebe woke up and was surprised to see Lucas, the Prince and Gwen in the room. She looked around and was surprised to see the room arranged.
“Guess what?” Gwen came to meet her on the bed. Phoebe noticed the excitement in her voice but she couldn’t tell why she was excited.
“I just woke up, my brain can’t take any guessing game right now.” She stood up and was going to brush her teeth so they could continue the search when she remembered the room and how tidy it was. “By the way, did you tidy up the room?”
Gwen shook her head. “I thought you did.” Phoebe gave a blank expression. “Well, if it wasn’t you, then, who?”
They stopped for a while to think about it.
“The Prince and Lucas left first and you went to bed, I was the only one here.”
“Does that mean that Chad was here?” Gwen asked.
“Chad?”
“If Chad was here then that means, he was the one that dropped the amulets.” Lucas said.
“Wait! Did you just say the amulet?” Phoebe asked.
Lucas nodded and the Prince brought out the amulets.
Phoebe was so happy that she left the room and went to search for Chad. She saw him watching TV as usually. “Chad!” She called his name and ran to hug him. “Thank you so much!”
“Get away from me!” Chad push her a bit and stood up from the sofa. Phoebe was running to meet him but he pushed her again. “Just stay there,” he told her before running out of the house.
Everyone was laughing at the scene.
“What’s the plan now that we have the amulets?” Phoebe asked.
“It’s time to go home,” the prince replied
