The Brave Savior

Book:Bloody Comeback Of My Alpha Mate Published:2024-6-4

It is Thompson. Dad!
“How did you arrive here?” I ask my first question from him, immediately he returns to human.
His palms are sweaty while his forehead remains creased as though he recently fought a tough battle.
“You guys finally marked each other. How the hell did that happen? I’m so disappointed in you, Lisa; I’m equally disappointed in myself for not arriving in time.” He claims as Alex points his fingers at him as a sign of warning.
“Don’t forget, I have more powers than the so-called Alpha King. So, try not to cause any commotion and follow me behind. I’m speaking to you, Lisa!” He slightly screams especially at the last word.
“I’ll order wolves to take him down. Don’t be scared, my precious Luna.” Alexander asserts as he plants a kiss to her forehead, and suddenly connects to the pack’s mind link. I can feel it within me as well. He reconnects to the beta’s personal mind link and informs him urgently, “I need you and ten able wolves at the back of the pack. Now.”
When dad notices that he’s frozen to a spot, trying to connect to a mind link, he reaches out for me and he begins to overpower me.
“Who is trying to capture your Luna?” Bryan rebuffs from the mind link, setting Alex on the alert. Bryan can see us at the back of the pack already. Alex suddenly returns to the normal world as he kicks dad to the ground.
“This monster has efused to die no matter our efforts!” He screams on top of his voice as Bryan and able wolves arrive here.
“Remember, if you hurt me in any way, your hurt her as well because we’re still connected by blood. If you must kill me, you must kill her as well. Make a best choice.” Dad creepily whispers as Alex refrains his warriors from attacking him.
“Bring him to the pack; never let him go.” He orders his warriors but I object. Nevertheless, his warriors carry out the command.
“Why would you bring himto the pack? He would cause more havoc.” My objection intensifies when I notice the smirks plastered across his chin.
I follow him behind anyways, and we return to the pack to find it still lively and easygoing. As dad slips out of the tight grip by the warriors, he strangles a wolf to death immediately. Alex’s eyes widen in shock as I cross my arms against my chest, glaring at the act that just confirmed my words, more like warnings.
“How couldn’t you hold him back?” Alex chastises his warriors but dad speaks up.
“This is not yet the beginning. Release my daughter to me and save your werewolves. Remember, the amount of blood shed will determine if you’ll be fit to remain the Alpha King in future. It will express your capability or incapability.” Dad boldly asserts but suddenly, a strong and masked werewolf stabs him from behind, straight into his heart. He falls to the ground as he can’t catch his breath, and we’re surprised at the sudden change of situation. He is lowered to the ground as the masked werewolf inquires if he should be killed on the spot.
“No, don’t. Just enervate him, as best as you can.” Alex supports the stranger and he stabs him with silver on different parts of his body. He feels very weak and our warriors lead him to the pack cell, where he is to live, and a close eye to be kept on him until further notice.
“That was so awesome. You’re good.” I appreciate the cute male wolf when he unmasks.
“I’m Dan. I was exiled from my pack. So I decided to impress this immense pack, maybe I’ll have more chance to be a werewolf of a pack, here.” He introduces himself as the Beta leads him away from the presence of the Alpha. As I spring forwards to catch up with them, Alex holds me back.
“Where the hell are you going to? Remember we have to be very careful about any decision we make and actions we take.” He informs me.
“Just a few minutes. I’ll be back. Your Beta will be there to protect me if any mishap unveils.” I whisper with a sexy voice as he releases me, and walks away, disappointedly.
“Dan, Dan!” I call to him, running hastily to catch up.
“My Luna, why didn’t you mind link me or simply order one of the wolves to summon him? We’ll be at your service.” Bryan announces.
“I’m sorry but I have some words with Dan.” I interrupt.
“Sure.” He clips as he says, standing at attention.
“I’ll love the conversation to be private.”
“Then, you have to be with a security wolf. May I summon one of the appointed ones?” Bryan asks to confirm.
“No, I’m good. I can protect myself.” I respond.
He walks away to meet the Alpha and narrate how disobedient I was, to him.
“Hey, can you come to my room?” I lead Dan to my personal beautiful room in the Luna’s quarters. He shuts the door behind, locking it and walking towards me.
“My princess, how may I help you? Since you’ve accepted me to the pack.” Dan inquires but I pin him to the wall suddenly, claiming his lips. His eyes widen in shock at my sudden reaction.
“Love at first sight.” I whisper into his ears. “I was joking with you; don’t count this as anything and you’re as good as dead if a third party learns about this.”
“I won’t ever mention this to anyone. Your name is Everest?” He inquires.
“No, I’m Clarissa. Lisa for short. Have you found your mate?” I inquire, now.
“I haven’t. I will sniff her scent soon and mate with her.”
“I’ll be ready to assist you in anyway. Just let me know if there’s any of my personal assistant that’s unwilling to permit you to come to me.” I assure him as he pulls me into a hug, appreciating the favor he’s received, especially when he deems it undeserved.
“I just got a mind link from the Beta. The Alpha has escaped from the pack.” He narrates.
I let out a croaky sigh, “escape? You don’t say that? He could have gone for a mission, maybe to turn some more humans.”
“I even heard a lot about this pack. One of the projects is to mark at least half of the students of Mount Everest High School.”
“Yes, we’ll achieve it.” I whisper back, though I am just learning about this. It seems this little cute male wolf named Dan has more information about the pack than I do. I will assign him as the closest and no one can raise a finger at my decision, I am the Luna King!
“Can I leave now? So no one will suspect anything between both of us?” He fearfully requires but I shush him.
“Nothing happens in the pack if not authorized by the Alpha or his mate, which is me. If I want you to sleep beside me tonight, except the Alpha doesn’t permit it, it will come to pass.” I reassure him, as he nods for a response.
“I crave blood.” His words suddenly freezes me to a spot as I inspect his lips.
“Are you a vampire?” I gently ask, as they are known for being hungry for blood.
“I’m not, but I crave blood. My parents were murdered right in front of me by the pack leader, my former Alpha, and I was even exiled from the pack. I’ve suffered a lot of mishaps in the past but I’m so glad to find a loving soul in a gargantuan pack.” He narrates.
“Are you sure you found a loving soul”
