Chapter Twenty Nine – That Remarkable Experience

Book:Bloody Comeback Of My Alpha Mate Published:2024-6-4

“Will you confirm that from her?” Alexander asks. I take a moment to think about it.
“I never had a single mark on my body. Why should mere hugging give me that same mark? Or have you marked me yet?” I ask.
“No. This is not how marking wolves look like.” He corrects. “I’d say you should ask her to confirm.”
“Don’t say it again.” I correct. I walk up to his mum now and have my seat. She holds her nostrils tight, showing a repugnant sign.
“Do I have a bad body odor?” I ask Alex. “Come over. Your mum’s insulting me.”
Alex runs over here, anger fully written over her face.
“Mum! Mum!” He calls but she only stares at him, she doesn’t say a word.
“Claire!!!” I scream her name and as she removes her hands from her nostrils, I clearly look at the mark on her neck. Just opposite the one on my neck and Alex’s neck
“Now, what does this mean?” I ask Alex, pointing my fingers at her neck.
“You both should return upstairs so there won’t be any disaster. I warn humans ahead.” She says and I scoff.
I point my fingers to her face. “Small mistake, we’re not humans. We’re beings that have more power than you do.”
“Do you want to prove it?” She requests, showing a war sign with her smirks. I blink my eyes at Alex and he tells me it’s a capital NO
“Let’s go back upstairs. We don’t want to have more problems. Do we?” Alex requests.
“Let me get outside the house. I have things to watch out for.” I say, suspecting his mum now. I can’t really point to the thing I’m suspecting her for but I’m certain there’s a thing she’s hiding. Hiding, mainly from her son – Alex.
As I run towards the door so she won’t catch up with me, she runs like whirlwind, that quick powerful ability possessed by all able wolves, she employs it and stands on my way.
She croaks and starts to howl. ” You think you can escape from here?”
“Why? What’s…. happening here?” Alex questions as he rushes to meet up with us.
Grenada complains. “You shouldn’t have enabled your wolf. You know how hungry and unsatisfied it always is.”
“It satisfies me.” She corrects the grannie.
“It doesn’t!” The grannie yells back at her.
“I’ll deal with you if you say one more word. I will kill you with my bare hands.”
Alex signals to the grannie to remain silent so as not to be killed as Claire is now almost in her wolf form.
“Alex, do you remember Jeffrey? That man. That old man. This is his daughter. The person I’ve been looking for.. I’ve been waiting for the day when you’ll ask me why I’ve been reacting to you this way and I’ll ignore.. after I do, you’ll want to run away because of my reaction and that’ll make it easier to catch up with you. Which I have done.” She says and brings out a sharp knife.
“I’ll stab you Right here and no one can stop that.” She says, knowing fully well that Alex is present there.
“Not in my presence.” Alex says. “You can’t lay a hand on her not to talk of injure or kill her.. not even in my absence.”
“Let’s see who wins the debate.” She says and smirks as my eyes turn wild green, grabbing the knife from her. I rather hit her severally on the back of her neck before I realize.
I killed Alex’s mother.
“Alex?” I ask, covering my lips.
“What do we do?” I ask as he doesn’t even fidget. Seems he’s been longing for his mom’s death but can’t do that by himself so he has to wait for someone who can do it best.
“You killed my mother.” He says again as he drops himself to the ground. I take that chance to run away but he aims to grab me with the power of his wolf as I hurry upstairs, thinking he won’t bother coming for me. As I sight his wolf running up to me, I jump out from the window and into safe hands.
From there, the person takes me to his house.
ALEX’S POV
Lisa killed my mom and doesn’t feel sorry about it. Now that she has escaped, I don’t know how to get her. Probably I’ll act nice to her, care about her like I’m as nice as that, and I’ll kill her.
But as I think about this and plan to do it, something strikes my heart.
“You also killed her father – even if you never did completely, you are in the process. You’ve attempted it a lot of times and she has never reacted to killing you or taking her revenge.” My wolf tells me and I desire to let it out and punish it but its just not possible.
“Mum.” I tap her slowly, thinking she’ll respond to me. She’s dead for real. Grenada doesn’t even say a word. She keeps minding her business.
I throw a pair of Crux at her to catch her attention.
“What insolenece.” She remarks. “Why did you do that?”
“You can argue with the wall.” I tell her. “Can’t you see that your daughter has died?”
“She didn’t die. She only went to settle some things.” She says.
“Blood.. see blood everywhere. And my mate, Lisa, my mate, she has gone. I can’t find her again.” I say and as I leave my mum alone in the sitting room, in the pool of blood, I rush upstairs to check if Lisa has returned or she jumped into wrong hands and it’s now impossible to get her.
I’ve not activated her scent yet so I can’t catch up with her by scent. I sigh at this frustrating situation.
I rush upstairs and open the door of each room, screaming her name and almost shedding tears.
“Lisa!!!! Where the hell are you?!!!” I scream at the walls. “Please do not disappoint me.”
“Shut up.” Something warns me from behind. The place from which the voice erupts is very dark. I turn on a small torchlight in my hands and can’t see anything there. A wolf immediately howls at me, tearing my flesh without notice.
LISA’S POV
As I gently land into the hands of a stranger, he quickly rushes to lay me inside his car which is just downstairs.
“I noticed that you all living in that apartment are wolves.” He remarks. “Don’t bother explaining anything to me, I understand.”
“Thank you sire. I hope he’s safe though.” I comment, staring at him suspiciously.
“You hope who’s safe?” He asks me urgently.
“I mean my mate.” I let him know.
“I hope not the one that made you land into my hands.” He hopes.
I nod my head. “Yes he is.”
“Damn.” He says.
I grab his shirt and peer at his face like I’ll beat him up soon. “What the hell did you do to him?”
“I sent a big wolf to tear his flesh apart. I did that so quickly. I’m an hunter and as I was returning, I heard your voices and I could watch you right from downstairs.” He says with confidence.
“I like your confidence. But, it’s not going to help now.” I let him know. I punch him really hard in his face till his hands start to become dark and stronger, turning into claws. I find my way out of the car now as I rush to the front of my house. We have a gate though. I don’t know the kind of house he brought me to. I see the stranger now in his wolf trying to approach me. I hit my hands on the door as hard as I can, and it breaks open, from my hands’ frequent hits. I walk in freely as I fear no one. I start to breathe faster and as I see that the wolf enters the compound with me, I run inside the sitting room, ensuring the rooms are tightly locked. I then see mum sprawled on the ground. Not treated. Not even attended to. I see the grannie looking calm still. I start to doubt her vision.
“Can you even see?” I ask her, my voice sounding dangerous now. She doesn’t even know that I have entered the room. I see one of her grand kids beside her as I carry him up in my hands, his life to be cut short within few seconds by me..
The grannie, Grenada, rushes to meet me now as she starts to sound wildly.
“I will kill you if anything bad happens to the little boy, I promise you.” She says and I croak. I plaster on a smirk and tell her to be calm.
“Where is my mate? Where is Alex?” I ask, repeatedly until she gives me replies. I run upstairs with her child as she screams at me to release her child. I release him from upstairs to downstairs and he lands with a very loud thud, like he’s broken his neck already.
I hear some other reactions from the grannie but I’m less concerned about it.. as I get up the stairs, I start to smell blood better. I hope my mate hasn’t been defeated or been forced to join some team. If blood must be smeared on walls or splattered across it, then it must be him who killed and not him that was killed. I take a breath in, as I attempt to approach any object in the dark.
I walk inside the dangerous spot and without thinking twice, an object darts at me and grabs my neck, pinning me to the wall. Then the switch becomes on. I see the face of the wolf. It is exactly mum and no one else. Once she sees that I have realized that, she hurries down the staircase. I don’t know what she went to do but I try to recall who turned on the switch but I now see someone coughing out his lungs like a victim that just escaped from suffocation. I shake my head and our gazes meet.
“Still wanna fight?” I ask him. I am sure he has missed me and would have searched around for me. I have done same for him too. I feel a slight pain in my neck like it’s choking me. I hold it but the more I do, the more it sears my flesh.
“Help me.” I request as I fall to the ground, rolling on the ground due to the pain from that particular thing glued to my neck. Or is it a mark?
I’m surprised to see that Alex comes forth to help me. He raises his hands up and as I stand up, I become whole. Then we both get inside the room. He shuts it and lets the light remain on.
The curtains are down and no one’s near us, to eavesdrop or subtly catch a point from any word we’ll speak. It’s easy to spoil a thing but to make it is hard. If our relationship spoils now, then what’s the essence of it existing all this while?
My mate starts to sob as I can’t point to a specific reason why he is sobbing. Oh, I think I discovered that it is his mum that attacked us both. I don’t think he discovered it. I’ll have to explain to him and the acceptance or agreement with the explanation deals with him.
“I didn’t kill your mother. I’m sorry I made you feel that way.” I tender my apology after a lot of minutes of temporal and annoying silence.
“You killed my mother, Lisa. My only hope. I told you I don’t have a father.” He complains bitterly.
“Don’t be bothered. Your mum is active already. Mark my words.” I say with so much confidence though I don’t know his mum’s plans if she plans to return to her body immediately or not.
“If I confirm she is dead, do you know what I’ll do to you?” He asks me, tears dropping from his eyes.
“It means you have not confirmed if I translated your words well.” I assert, trying to make a joke out of the tough situation.
“Yes.” He roughly says and stands still like a snake that wants to bite no matter how many times it has been struck by some strong stick or metals.
“It shows that you believe me.” I say.
“Lisa, if I come over there and get mad at you, I’ll fuck you till dawn.” He threatens.
“You’re an Alpha and yet you only make empty threats. Don’t be a coward. Come over and do it if you can.” I endear him, feeling intimidated within me though. He locks the door well and undresses completely before he approaches me.
“Take those dresses off before I deal with you.” He instructs and each way I try to escape, he blocks it.
“For real, I’m not telling lies. I’ll fuck you mercilessly at this minute.” He finally says, looking like someone who won’t go back on his words. He almost slaps my face but as he grabs my two hands, he handcuffs them and removes my cloth gently. I struggle with my feet to be released but he only hits me with his long and thick dick, and I feel the pain in my veins. Any cloth that refuses to be removed will be cut by scissors. I sigh at his action now as I’m only left with my panties. Even my boobs are free to watch now. He first of all rubs them to make him more energized for sex this night.
He drags down my panties and rubs my clit to make us feel horny.
“Ahhhh..” I moan at that but he inserts his dick. It doesn’t go through at that time. I laugh out loud at him, though I’m still handcuffed.
He takes my two legs up and drives again.
