BRYAN’S POV
Finally in an hour or two my baby girl will be Mrs. Alexandria Lee.
I just heard her name from Liz then I was curious about her, I became even more interested when Liz introduced her to me before. I really find her beautiful and I like her sense of humor.
Back then I thought I was just happy with her because I was an only child and longing for a little sister which I thought I had found in her.
That’s why even if I don’t like to text and call, I started doing it because of her. I was even happier and more excited to see and talk to her than my girlfriend Liz.
Then one day I just saw myself falling for her and regretted the fact I am already taken and my girlfriend was her best friend so it was difficult for me to break up with Liz, because I am afraid that I would lose her too.
I tried to avoid her for the sake of us three. I knew I was falling in love with her at that time. But when I tried to avoid her I just find myself missing her more and falling deeply with her.
That’s I made a decision to break up with Liz. But of course Liz should be the one who ask for a break up and not me.
That’s why I did crazy things to Liz. And I’m thankful for her because despite of the things I did to her, still she support me to pursue Alex.
The wedding will start in five minutes but Alex is still not here. Where is she now? I am getting nervous here.
I can’t seem to relax. Our wedding is supposed to start now. Could it be that something bad happened to Alex? Or maybe she change her mind?
“Dude relax they are on their way. I already talked to Liz, they just caught on a traffic.” Gian assured me.
I just gave him a forced smile. Even if he told me that Alex is on her way, I still feel nervous.
After 15 minutes, Alex and Liz’s car arrived. I should have calmed down but I was even more nervous when it was announced that the wedding will start now.
Gian is my best man because he did a lot to make me and Alex have our happily ever after.
And of course Liz is our maid of honor.
Liz is so beautiful in what she is wearing now. And I could see the jaw dropping of the person next to me. He was so amazed at the beauty of the bride’s best friend.
“Dude relax. Just propose to her.” I teased him.
He smirked. “Soon.”
I just smiled at him and I was nervous again when I saw my bride. She is so beautiful in the gown she chose.
We actually ordered a customized gown for her because she wanted it to have a touch of korean traditional dress.
But it is pure white and her upper dress is tube but like the knotted upper dress of traditional Korean dress and the lower part of her dress is long cut so her body shape is more visible.
I just smiled until she could get close to me.
I smiled and bowed to Alex’s parents. Her mommy kissed me.
“Thank good care of our princess” she whispered to me, it was obvious in her voice that she was about to cry.
“Rest assured Mommy” I told her.
Alex’s dad gave her hand to me, as if he wanted to say that they were giving their daughter to me.
I smiled and accepted the hand of my future wife who was now in tears.
“Shhh. Baby girl” I softly said to comfort her.
“I’m giving you my daughter now. Not a single tear from her you get me?” Her dad said.
“I can’t promise you that she won’t cry, but I can promise that I will be forever here for her to wipe her tears and love her forever.” I sincerely said.
I felt the tightness of Alex’s grip on my hand. I looked at her and saw her tears flowing.
I immediately wiped it off. “Baby girl your daddy just said not a single tear from you.”
He pout her sexy lips. “This one is tears of joy.”
We chuckled. “Lets go Mrs. Lee?”
I saw her blush that made her look more beautiful.
“Bryan Lee do you take Alexandria Ramirez as your wife in sickness and in health, in richer or poorer, till death do you part?” Pastor asked.
“I do” I was smiling when I said that.
“Alexandria Ramirez do you take Bryan Lee as your husband in sickness and in health, in richer or poorer, till death do you part”
“I do.” My wife said.
After some ceremony, it now time to put our wedding ring and give our promise to each other.
“Baby girl take this ring as a sign of my love to you. As I said to your Dad earlier, I can’t promise that I won’t make you cry, because we still don’t know what will happen but this thing is something that I am sure of, that I will be here not just to wipe your tears but to do my best to keep it from coming and love you and be faithful to you and be my baby girl forever.” I promote her.
I really tried my best to deliver well even though my knees is trembling because of nervousness and happiness that I am feeling now.
I can’t help my tears to fall. Alex wipe it for me and get the other ring.
“Grandpa take this ring as a sign of my love to you. I promise that this time I will always fight for you, for us. I won’t let anything or anyone to make us apart. Now we are one. There is no Alex without Bryan. I love you and I always will even if I meet a lot of Korean guys in this world.” Her promise.
I smiled and again my tears could not stop flowing. It may sound gay but I really feel touch with what I heard from her. I know it all came from my baby girl’s heart.
“I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride” the Pastor announced.
I slowly remove the veil that covers her face. I looked at my wife’s beautiful face. I move my face closer to her. I saw her face blushed. I smirked then I kiss her.
It was only a quick kiss. I am saving it for our honeymoon.
“Finally my Mrs. Lee” I whispered after the kiss.
We are already in the airport for our honeymoon. I wanted to go to Jeju for our honeymoon but my wife refused. As per her, she will not be able to see Kpop artist in Jeju. She has a higher chance to see Kpop artist in Seoul than in Jeju.
And do you know where we went after landing in Korea? In a cemetery. As far as I know my wife has no Korean acquaintance so I wonder who is this Park Yong Ha she wanted to visit.
We have reached the tomb of Park Yong Ha. I found out that he was a famous singer and actor then. He is said to be the second lead in a famous Korean drama, endless love winter sonata. He allegedly committed suicide for unknown reasons. His career was good then.
“Oppa, I’m already here. I told you to wait for me.” My wife said tearfully.
I just forgot that this woman has a crazy side.
“Oppa, this is my husband . You should be in his place, but you didn’t wait for me.” She added.
“Is that so?” I just said.
“Definitely! I will not replace my Oppa with an Ajussi.” Alex said teasingly.
“Oh so I’m your Ajussi?!” I said while tickle her.
“Ajussi stop that.” Alex said as she restrained me from tickling. But I still didn’t stop.
“You should be thankful that I am calling you an ajussi, because it only means you are just an uncle if you wanted to be a grandpa I will call you harabuji is that what you want?” She defended herself.
“Stop calling me names. Lets just go. Say goodbye to your oppa.” I just said.
“Oppa we need to go. I will just visit you again before we return to the Philippines. Sarangheyo(i love you) Oppa! Bugushiposoyo (i miss you)”
We are in the hotel to rest for a while after that we will go to a TV Network here in Korea to watch a music show.
The two of us sat on the sofa while waiting for the food we ordered.
“I remembered something.” Alex said suddenly.
“What is that?” I asked.
“I thought you like me that’s why you broke up with Liz but why did you invite her to you know …” she said shyly.
I smiled. “To have sex?” I confirmed.
I saw her blush so I laughed.
She beat me on the arm.
“Why did you even say that word? You pervert!” She hissed.
I laughed harder. “I just told the word sex and that makes me a pervert already? You know baby girl if you want us to do that we can do that now, let’s not go to that shoe. We’ll just be in the room all night.” I said then I winked at her.
She blushed again redder than before. She beat me again and again.
“Perveeeerrttt!”
“What are you, that’s normal for a couple. Why did you suddenly ask?” I said.
“Because there seems to be inconsistency in what you said. You like me but you invited my best friend to do that.” She said seriously.
I shied. “I know that’s crazy, and Liz doesn’t deserve that. I was just desperate at that time for her to break up with me. Because it looks like my cold treatments towards her is not effective.” I explain.
Alex hit me again “Ouch! You always beat me!” I said.
She pouted. “Why did you do that to Liz ?! You’re so bad!”
“I know. That’s why I just let Gian to punched me.” I said.
“Gian punched you?” Alex’s eyes widened.
I nodded.
“You deserve it! Your so bad! But in fairness to him. Wait, does he already like Liz back then?” She asked.
I shrugged. “I don’t know. Maybe but he doesn’t realize it yet. Just like you. You already love me but you haven’t realize it yet.”
The finally I saw her smile.
“So can’t we just not go and stay here all day?”
