ALEX’S POV
“Janet I won’t be in the office today. But I still need to see the report for Q4. Send it to me before lunch.” I instructed Janet.
‘Copy Ma’am.’
“Okay. If you guys have any concern just text or email me. No phone calls.” I added.
‘Copy Ma’am’
“Okay Bye.”
‘Bye Ma’am.’
I hang up after my few instructions with Janet.
I won’t be able to go to office because I will need to me the Romualdez today. I will now meet my future husband and my future in-laws.
To tell you honestly I am feeling nervous, I made some research about the Romualdez family and they seem nice and decent.
They are know for being humble in spite of their status in society. If the Romualdez have a secret why they achieve the success that they have right now is because of their love for people, and that same love is also what people give them through their output in their work.
I was so happy with what I found out about the Romualdez.
I think it’s not hard to love Nicholas. So now I’ve decided to forget how I feel about Bryan.
I know its not easy but I will do my best to forget my feelings to him. And I hope that he will cooperate. I want to focus on my future… and that is Nicholas.
The first meeting with Romualdez Family was a success. Looks like I can get along with Nicholas’ mom and even with Nicholas.
We have something in common and that is our love for movies.
It may sounds gay but we were the same in terms of how we watch a movie.
What I mean is we just not watching movies just for the sake watching it. We critic every drama or movie that we had watched. From the set, lights, effects, camera angle, actors, etc.
And that is one thing that I’m sure that I will like about him. At least now I have someone who will I share my ideas or review with the movies with.
Liz often rolled her eyes on me whenever I tell her about my critic on a movie that we have watched.
She’s very pissed with me. She will always tell me to just watch the movie and I should stop myself to over analyze the movie.
She doesn’t care about those things, what matters to her is that she was moved by the movie. The doesn’t need every details of it.
I also found out that Nic studied film so it is not surprising why he likes to criticize movies.
He invited me to help him with his plan to make an independent film and of course I agreed.
This is the chance for us to meet and be close … and this is also the time to start forgetting about Bryan.
Q1 has already started so we are a bit busy meeting with our accounts.
And of course we focus on SK Telecom. I don’t want to attend the meeting but I can’t do anything about it because the CEO of SK Telecom is requiring me to attend in the said meeting.
Our meeting with Bryan was in the afternoon. That meeting had to end immediately because Nic and I still had a dinner date.
Our engagement is also next week and we want to spend time to know each other before our engagement.
Jane has already presented Sapphire’s performance in SK Telecom and the action plans for Q1.
That meeting lasted a long time, due to SK Telecom concerns, so I told Nic to just pick me up here because it looks like I won’t be there in time if I return to the office.
And finally the meeting is over! I was in a hurry to put away my belongings to get ready to go.
“You look in a hurry, do you have a date?” Bryan curiously asked me.
I was still busy fixing my things so I just answered him without lookin at him.
“Yes.” I simply said.
“Is that so? I wish I could invite you to dinner.” sadness was obvious in its voice.
I suddenly felt guilt. So I turned to him.
“Sorry Bry maybe some other time, I’m quite busy today.” I told him.
He sighed. “You always said that.”
“I’m really sorry Bry. I will really make up with you. I really need to go.”
“Let me send you then.” He offered.
I shook my head. “You don’t have to.”
“I insist.” He said.
I just let him send me out. He was about to press the basement when I already pressed the ground floor button.
“I said I will send you.” He said coldly.
“Yes I know. That’s why we are here together.” I said.
He was about to answer when the elevator opened. I immediately went out of the elevator.
I was already out of the building when he grabbed my hand.
“I said I’ll send you Alex.” He said in a firm voice.
“I have someone to fetch me.” I said to him.
Suddenly his left eyebrow rose “Fetch you?”
“Yes.” I said.
He frowned. “Who?”
Someone suddenly spoke from behind me. “Me.”
We both turned to the guy who spoke.
“Nic” I called him.
“Nic?” Bryan asked.
“Hi I’m Nicholas Romualdez, Alex’s fiancee.” Nic introduced himself and held out his hand to him.
His eyes widen. “FIANCEE???”
