The bed was covered in vibrant red wine, as was her body. He poured bit by bit, then came to kiss, and then caress… whatever it took to make her lose control.
“You see, both your mouths are calling out, look at your little appearance…” he covered her, kissing her, teasing her, and saying words that she couldn’t bear.
Amy completely lost it!
At this moment, madness was for the uncontrollable pleasure, the madness the next day was for the bed in disarray!
Her favorite set of bedding, embroidered with floating feathers, was ruined!
She spent three hours soaking it in laundry detergent, vigorously scrubbing with her hands until her skin wrinkled and her thumbs almost fell off. Those damned wine stains, like demonic marks, were still mocking her.
“Damn thing,” she was angry, stood up, kicked the basin, the basin was unharmed, but her toes were swollen!
The phone kept ringing, and the Mike couple was still waiting for her!
She hastily changed clothes and went to pick up the Mike couple. The driver, Paul, was waiting for her at the door, handing her a small package.
“Mr. Smith’s vacation is over. The car is filled up with gas, and this is the gas card, already topped up. This is the credit card.”
“Does that mean he won’t be coming for a while?” Amy’s eyes lit up, restraining the urge to cheer.
Paul smiled and left in the car.
Amy jumped a few times in place before locking the door and leaving.
Today, she took the Mike couple to roam the streets, experiencing the local customs and eating snacks. She went to a small shop on the roadside with Mrs. Mike to pick out clothes, and she changed out of the troublesome suit she was wearing into a white chiffon blouse, a pair of denim cropped pants, and a pair of flat sandals.
“You look beautiful with this.” Mrs. Mike put a colorful glass necklace around her neck and praised her, “You drive such a nice car, your family must be well-off, and you do your own thing, which is great.”
Amy blushed, didn’t explain, where did she have the ability to buy such a car? For a moment, she felt hypocritical.
Mrs. Mike said to her again, “Come with us to the dinner party.”
“I won’t go, I’ll just send you over,” Amy shook her head.
“Please go, you’ll benefit from it,” Mrs. Mike liked her very much, holding her hand.
Amy thought about it. It’s a good thing to meet new friends. Maybe it’s not a bad idea to expand her network for her future in this industry! Life always needs new experiences.
Arriving at the designated location, Amy couldn’t help but find it somewhat amusing. She wore Chanel every day, but today she was dressed in an outfit that cost ninety yuan, yet she found herself at a six-star hotel.
“It’s okay,” Mike’s wife sensed her hesitation and pulled her out of the car, instructing the hotel staff to park her car for her.
They were having a buffet in the banquet hall, chatting lively. Alex Piente and his wife were also there, and as soon as they saw the three of them come in, they excitedly approached to share the progress of their coffee shop renovation.
“That designer is excellent, always able to understand my preferences,” Alex Piente exclaimed.
Amy suddenly became curious about the designer who could produce design drafts overnight and still satisfy Alex Piente like this.
“Hey, this is my friend, Amy. She’s great at Spanish. Do you need a translator? She’s fantastic,” Mike’s wife introduced her friend to others and started drumming up business for Amy.
Amy sat aside, smiling, running her fingers through her curly hair, sitting quietly.
“Amy indeed has talent. She paid off tens of millions of debts at home in just five months. Did she win the lottery?”
A sarcastic voice came from the crowd. Amy looked up and saw her stepmother, Snow, standing in the crowd, adorned with pearls and jewels, still as radiant as ever.
“Neil said you went to Las Vegas to accompany an American tycoon for a few nights to earn this money. Aren’t you afraid your dad will be furious when he finds out?”
Snow’s fluent English made all the English speakers present understand. After a brief silence, murmurs and whispers started among those who didn’t understand.
“What?” Mike’s wife looked at Amy in surprise, seeing her face turn pale. She furrowed her brows and said to Snow, “This is Amy’s private life. You shouldn’t talk about it here.”
“But this is a place where people of status gather. The ambassador’s wife wouldn’t appreciate such women,” Snow replied, lifting her chin slightly.
This Snow was a very famous university graduate with high intelligence.
But high IQ doesn’t necessarily mean high moral standards!
Amy didn’t want to engage in a public spat with her at this place; it was simply embarrassing!
“Sorry, if you two still want to tour this afternoon, just give me a call, and I won’t ruin the atmosphere anymore,” she turned around, smiling apologetically to Mike’s wife, without even glancing at Snow, and left with her small bag.
