She kept tilting her head, looking out of the window. Suddenly, his hand reached over, grabbing her small hand.
“What are you thinking?” he asked.
“I find what you did unbelievable,” she replied honestly.
“Heh…” He chuckled, taking out a cigarette and turning to look at her. “Mind if I?”
“Sure.” She nodded.
He rolled down the car window, letting the wind in, and slowly blew out smoke rings. “In Las Vegas, nothing is impossible.”
Indeed, in this gambling city, one side was heaven, and the other side was hell. When you moved forward or turned around, you couldn’t distinguish where you were heading!
Amy bit her lip again.
“Do you like biting your lips?” He turned to look at her, extending his hand to lightly tap her lips. “Remember, only I can bite.”
“Huh?” Amy was a bit confused. Did he think they were on their honeymoon, or did he really consider her his dear wife? His words and actions were so gentle, like that of a good husband!
The gentler, the stranger, the scarier! Unless he was an expert in love, he must be hiding something deep down!
Amy shifted closer to the car door, watching him warily.
He extinguished the cigarette, turned into a small road, and slowly, a blue lake appeared ahead. A small boat gently swayed on the lake.
When the car stopped, she was about to push the door open, but her arm was pulled back by him.
She looked back at him, but he quickly bent down, one hand pinching her chin, and kissed her. The other hand pushed the seat back.
“Lucas…”
She only let out a soft cry, and her lips were firmly sealed by him. His tongue carried a fierce taste as it invaded, making her unable to breathe. Slowly, the kiss became gentle again, delicately savoring her lip petals and the tip of her small tongue.
“Amy, you’re scared, aren’t you!”
After a long time, he released her lips, staring into her eyes slowly.
“Yes.” Amy nodded, her eyes misty, quietly looking at him.
“Heh…” He laughed again, his eyes deep, as if trying to see beyond the small lake in front of him, making it impossible to discern his true emotions.
He raised an eyebrow, opened the car door, and said, “Come out, let’s enjoy the breeze.”
Amy covered her chest, waiting until she calmed down a bit before getting out of the car.
The lakeside was covered with green grass, and a wooden bridge led to the middle of the lake. The wind ruffled the lake, and leaves softly rustled.
Opening the cabin, it was fully equipped inside, looking like a dedicated vacation spot.
“I rarely take a day off. Let’s go swimming.” He opened the wardrobe, tossing a swimsuit to her.
Amy blushed a bit; the bikini was too alluring.
“What’s wrong?” He turned to look at her, his eyes bright. He had already changed into swimming trunks, navy blue, wrapping around his well-built essentials. That bulging part made her face quickly turn red again. It swelled so fast!
Following her gaze down, Lucas chuckled, “Satisfied?”
Amy quickly turned her face away, her lips tightly pursed, rushing into the bedroom to change into her swimsuit.
What’s wrong with men nowadays? Did they rely solely on their lower brains to think and live? She grumbled to herself, thinking about his words last night. Did Lucas believe he was naturally adept in bed, or had he honed this entire set of skills through numerous experiences with women?
As she silently criticized him, the door opened without a sound. Lucas watched her tender and soft body, his pupils slightly narrowing, his gaze filled with the fervor of a fierce hunter.
Amy was reversing her hand to fasten the thin strap on her back when suddenly a large hand reached over. The fingertip’s warmth almost made her scream.
His palm passed under her armpit, completely covering her chest. His lips and tongue lightly teased her earlobe, forcing her to lean back, attempting to avoid his deliberately playful advances.
“You said we were going swimming…”
“I find this more interesting than swimming.”
“You just… last night…”
Amy didn’t even finish her sentence, but he chuckled softly.
“You do know that was last night, my dear. I only want to sex once a day.”
What should Amy say?
Facing this unfamiliar but controlling and aggressive man, she felt a bit helpless. He said she was reserved, and upon reflection, she probably was. Apart from Neil, she hadn’t had any other boyfriends. What did he and her do during their dates back then? Holding hands, watching movies, drinking coffee, and more often than not, reading books, listening to music, and raising a small dog at her villa…
Why did it feel like she had wasted her time?
“Amy, you’re daydreaming.”
