“What’s going on?” Nelly had to ask especially since Neuer wasn’t saying anything. He just froze there, losing his voice and consciousness.
“Neuer?” Nelly poked him. He was just there, still staring at the message he got on his phone.
Nelly had to grab the phone from him just to find out what was keeping him quiet. She normally would not have done what she did but she ran out of patience, she nearly lost her mind thinking about what the problem was.
“What!” Nelly expressed shock immediately after she caught sight of what was on the phone’s screen. Now she could see the reason why Neuer himself was as stunned as he was.
“I – I – I can’t believe they are still doing this after all this time.” Nelly struggled to speak at first but she was finally able to.

That was the caption of the message sent to Neuer’s mail inbox by the blog that has always been after tarnishing Nelly’s name and reputation from time immemorial.
Would Neuer just overlook this and believe Nelly is the darling and most upright lady he believed her to be? Or would this turn out to be a blast from the past?
These were some of the questions that went through Nelly’s mind. It killed her million times as she sat there, looking at a mute Neuer, and her heart aching and restless, just waiting for him to say a word.
Amanda walked in and found them in that mood.
“What’s going on, guys?” She asked. She too was aching to get an answer from both Nelly and Neuer.
“Neuer?” Nelly called his name one more time.
“Can someone just talk to me?” Amanda echoed just after Nelly.
“Is it true?” Neuer finally spoke. “Is there any truth in what I’m seeing here?”
“How can you ask me something like this, Neuer? How?!”
“Can someone please tell me what on earth is going on here?” Amanda asked again. She was the only one who was left out entirely on what was going on. And from the looks of things, Nelly and Neuer had no time to explain to her what was ongoing.
“How can I ask you such? Seriously? You really have some guts to ask me that, Nelly.”
“Why don’t you believe me, Neuer. Why can you not believe the woman you claim to love?”
“Because you lied to me, you lied about everything! You are not the person you say you are, Nelly!”
Bit by bit, Amanda kept catching the joke. She now understood what they were about.
“I didn’t lie to you, Neuer. I always tried to make you see things but you kept saying you didn’t care about my past.”
Neuer was extremely furious with Nelly. He jolted from where he was seated and then made his way out of her house. Nelly followed him closely as he walked out of the house.
“Neuer! Neuer! I’m speaking to you. You just can’t walk out on me!”
Nelly pulled him back. She looked into his eyes with her own eyes clouded with tears.
“You lied to me, Nelly. You didn’t love and respect me enough to let me know the truth. How could you not deem it fit to let me know about who you are after all the time we’ve spent together?”
Nelly was all apologetic but it wasn’t enough to stop Neuer from getting angry.
“I’ll ask you again, Nelly. Did you do it?”
“Do what?!”
By this time, Amanda had gone to check on the baby who was already crying.
“Did you sleep with various men just to get important roles in movies?”
Nelly lost it. She lost her temper and didn’t know when she gave Neuer a slap on his cheek. “You wouldn’t speak so lowly about me ever again!”
Neuer quietly left after Nelly’s rash response to his question which was rather provocative too. Nelly too didn’t try to stop him from leaving, She had tried enough.
She could not believe that she was going to lose another man whom she loved. It caused her heartache and almost made her lose her mind.
Amanda was able to drag her inside after Neuer left her.
It was late in the night on the streets of America and Ash was just trying to park his car properly when he ran into Daisy Landers.
“Hey, it’s um…Ash, right?” Daisy said with a heartwarming smile littered on her face.
“Yeah,” Ash answered dully.
“Is there a problem?” Daisy was moved to ask. She knew there was something bothering him. She tried to restrain herself from asking but she just could not. Whenever Daisy felt like something was wrong, then something was definitely wrong. She was never wrong on matters like this.
“Nothing is wrong,” Ash said and began walking away.
Was she just going to let him leave, just like that? No! Daisy ran after him –
“Are you going to grab a drink?”
“And how is that any of your business?” Ash answered rudely.
“I’m going to have a drink too. Maybe we can spend the time together, bill is on me.” Daisy was still able to maintain her calm and friendly composure even after Ash’s unfriendly responses.
Ash agreed to have a drink with Daisy and they both walked into the bar together.
After drinking a couple glasses of wine, Daisy turned to Ash and asked –
“What is wrong? You can tell me.”
Ash laughed –
“You don’t think I’ll be drunk and compelled to tell you, right?”
No, that wasn’t Daisy’s aim and she made him come to terms with that.
Ash, after much persuasion and friendly talks from Daisy, finally told her what was bugging his mind – Vivian.
He told her everything she needed to know and didn’t withhold anything.
“You are a good guy, Ash. I’ll give that to you and Vivian, your fiance does not deserve a man like you.”
Ash was shocked when Daisy said this to him. It was like she knew Vivian.
“What do you mean?”
“I’ll tell you but first you have to promise me we’re friends and you won’t see me in a bad light after this.”
“I promise,” Ash said in a haste.
“Come with me, then.”
“Why?” Ash asked.
“I have something to show you.”
