Mr Lincoln didn’t utter a word. He was busy ravaging Vivian’s aesthetic laps which were exposed from her gown that slipped up slightly.
“So tell me, Lincoln. What do I have to do for you to let me have all the goodies you talked about?” Vivian rolled her finger tips on his face.
Lincoln was no lost in his lustful imaginary world. He began daydreaming on how to handle someone as elegant as Vivian.
“Lincoln?” Vivian snapped her fingers in his face.
Lincoln recalled himself to reality. “What are you ready to do to have all that I mentioned and more?”
“I’ll do anything, I’m ready to do anything,” Vivian answered as quickly as Lincoln asked. She didn’t give it much thought or consideration.
“Anything?” He used his tongue to wet his lips.
“Anything.”
Underneath the dining table, Vivian began feeling Lincoln’s hands wandering around her thighs and very close to the boundary of her gown. From the onset, she knew this was what he wanted. Vivian was more than ready to give it to him.
“Bring! Bring!”
Her phone rang, causing a brief moment of distraction to what Lincoln would refer to as a glorious moment which was about to go down.
“Who’s it? Who is the bastard trying to ruin our precious moment?” Lincoln asked irritably. He didn’t like being placed at a halt when it came to matters like this.
“It’s my boyfriend, Ash.”
“Your fiance? I thought you told him you’re going out with some friends. Why does he have to be so desperate to disrupt the fun of the girls?”
“There are certainly no girls here,” Vivian laughed. She enjoyed the intensity of Lincoln’s lust and desire to have her.
“At least that is what he thinks. All paupers are the same, always over secure and overprotective concerning something they don’t deserve.”
Ash called again, Vivian attempted to pick up the phone but Lincoln refused.
“When you are with me, you don’t speak of or speak to any other man. You don’t even dare pick the call of another man!”
Mr. Lincoln said with so much authority in his voice, holding Vivian’s breast firmly as he spoke.
“I’ll just put off the phone then.”
No, Mr. Lincoln snatched it from her and smashed it on the floor –
“I’ll get you a new one, you can tell him this one got broken while you were trying to answer his unworthy call.”
Lincoln drove his hands into her gown and his fingers gently wandered its ways into the opening in between her legs. He had her walk up the stairs with him afterward, into his room.
Lincoln was good, but not as good and vibrant as Ash. Nevertheless, Vivian’s sight was only set on the money and nothing more.
He did just as he promised her, she left there with a very fat account, money she only dreamed of, a car and as a house owner.
“Where have you been?”
Neuer questioned Nelly immediately he saw her for the very first time that day.
“I was busy tidying the conference room in the…”
“Shh! All those excuses are not what I need to hear from you!”
A week ago, Neuer was all nice and apologetic to her and Amanda but now he’s back to his normal attitude?
Nelly had never been so confused at a person’s behavior. She looked around but she couldn’t find Amanda.
“I want to see you in my office right now. I think I’ve had just more than enough from you.” Neuer ordered her and then he walked away.
Nelly knew she was in for a rough day. She obediently followed Neuer into his office.
“Sit right there!” He ordered her.
Nelly sat down and the both of them were just staring at each other. No word was uttered, just the sound of their breath being heard.
Suddenly, the light in the room went off and since his curtains were thick and dark, darkness abruptly spread throughout all corners of the room.
“Sir? Are you…”
Before Nelly could complete her statement, the lights came back on:
“Happy birthday!” Everyone screamed, including Neuer.
Edgar, Mrs. Sandra, Amanda and the rest of the workers in the studio were all present in Neuer’s office.
Nelly was taken aback, she couldn’t believe a surprise party was set up all because it was her birthday.
“Get the cake and the entire present over here,” Neuer ordered the workers ecstatically.
“Thank you so much Ma’am Sandra,” Nelly embraced her.
“Thank you? Why on earth are you thanking me? It was all Neuer’s idea. I didn’t even contribute to any of it.”
Neuer’s idea? Nelly turned to Neuer in disbelief. She never would have dreamt Neuer would think of her to that extent.
“Happy birthday, Nelly.” Neuer handed her a flower.
“Thank you Sir, thank you so much.” Nelly experienced a flux of emotion, she didn’t even know when she hopped on Neuer and hugged him so tight.
“What? Why are you calling me Sir, please it’s Neuer.”
Nelly was not letting him go, she still held on to him. Maybe it was the beginning of something new to blossom.
After that little celebration, Mrs. Sandra declared that day labor free for Nelly. Neuer decided to use it as an opportunity to appreciate Nelly more.
“I didn’t know you could be this …”
“Nice?” Neuer interrupted her as they walked out of the eatery.
“Yes, nice.”
“Come on Nelly, I’m not evil, I’ve never been evil. I just don’t tolerate lackadaisical attitudes at work.”
That but was right, the last part. Neuer hated all forms of unseriousness especially in the work space.
Nelly understood that, she didn’t say anything again. Before then, she experienced a kick in her stomach, the baby. She was nearing her seventh month of pregnancy and she was expecting more of this.
“I’ll get you water,” Neuer said. He left to get the water from the store.
Just as he was getting the water, he saw a car pull over in front of Nelly.
