Book:The Revenge of My Alluring Wife Published:2024-6-4

Ellis couldn’t bear it. He kicked the boy’s leg, “Nonsense, this was bought for me by my aunt.”
“Dare to snatch my clothes. Watch me beat you to death.” With that, he kicked again.
Ellis seemed to have undergone professional training; his kicks were exceptionally skillful.
The boy screamed in pain, tears streaming down his face. “You, you dare hit me.”
“Mom, wuwuwu… someone is hitting me.” With that, the boy sat on the ground, acting like a spoiled child.
Soon, a plump woman walked over, tenderly embracing the crying boy, “Who hit you? Was it that little brat?” The woman pointed angrily at Ellis.
Seeing this, Frank felt a bit anxious. He was about to step forward but was stopped by Evelyn.
“Why rush?” Evelyn looked curious. “Don’t you want to see how your nephew reacts?”
Frank shook his head, “At home, he can barely speak three sentences a day. Do you expect him to throw a tantrum like others?”
Evelyn: “…” Only saying three sentences a day? Was he really the same Ellis who never stopped talking in front of her, sweet, cute, and able to act spoiled?
Seeing her bewildered expression, Frank didn’t plan to explain and walked quickly.
However, before he could get close, cries and shouts echoed through the top floor.
“Aunt, wuwuwu… someone is hitting me. My arms, fingers, ankles, my whole body hurts. I probably won’t survive.”
“Haha…” Evelyn couldn’t help bursting into laughter.
Frank froze on the spot… He now seriously suspected that Evelyn had swapped Ellis with someone else.
“You little scoundrel, you dare to claim innocence after beating someone? Were your parents dead, leaving you without any proper upbringing? Truly lacking in manners.”
“Today, I’ll teach you a lesson on behalf of your parents.” She reached out to grab Ellis to vent her anger. However, her rough hand was firmly gripped by a hand.
“Take back what you just said.” Evelyn stared at the woman, her eyes turning red.
“Who… who are you? What does it have to do with you if I teach this little brat a lesson?” The woman trembled with fear but forced herself to retort.
Evelyn remained silent, just gradually increasing the pressure.
Soon, the sound of bones cracking filled the air.
“Ah! Murder! She’s killing me!” The woman let out a scream. She wriggled her fat body, sweating profusely.
The little boy, who had been scared out of his wits, clung to his mother’s thigh. Urine streamed down his pants, pooling on the ground.
“Wuwuwu, Mom. She’s a ghost, I’m scared. Quickly beat her to death.”
Evelyn’s fierce gaze turned towards him, “Beat me to death? Do you know ghosts claim lives? Be careful, I…”
“Oh. This wicked woman not only snatched the sticky suit from my son but also resorted to violence. Someone, please help us, this poor mother and son…”
The woman, enduring the pain, sat on the ground. People around them started to gather.
“Call the police!” Before she could finish her sentence, Evelyn coldly added.
“A little incident like this, and you’re calling the police? Is that necessary?” The woman, looking at her still crying son, mumbled “Do you think the police have nothing better to do? Do they deal with such small matters every day?”
Surrounded by an increasing crowd, the woman became silent. She lowered her head, looking pitiful, as if Evelyn had bullied her. She intentionally exposed her red and swollen wrist, trying to gain sympathy. People passing by couldn’t help but start speaking up for her.
“Children are mischievous. It’s not easy for a woman to take care of a child alone. Why be so unforgiving?”
“We still don’t know who’s right. Didn’t you hear the child shouting just now? He said it was his mother who lined up first.”
“Not only stealing things but also resorting to violence.”
“I think we should call the police.”
“No.” The woman panicked at the mention of the police, “My husband is still hospitalized. I can’t afford to waste time at the police station. Please, I don’t want to escalate the situation. If you really want to help me, maybe ask this woman for some compensation. Not too much, just enough to fix my wrist. My husband needs someone to take care of him, and I can’t be handicapped.”
Her expression turned pitiful, and people around them began discussing again.
Frank leaned towards Evelyn, “Are we being extorted?”
Evelyn examined the woman’s condition carefully and smiled, “I have to admit, you seem to have become smarter. Your judgment is quite accurate.”
Frank’s face instantly darkened, “Evelyn, I’m a medical doctor. I was already extremely intelligent, there’s no need for me to become smarter.”
Ignoring him, Evelyn said, “Think about how to deal with her.”
“I have a lawyer, I can contact him right away,” Frank suggested.
“Sure, go ahead and contact them,” Evelyn waved her hand dismissively. Frank’s approach was legitimate but inefficient, something she didn’t like.
Just at that moment, Ellis returned to her side, seeming quite disheartened. He tugged at Evelyn, his eyes filled with confusion, “Aunt, did I cause trouble?”
“Causing trouble is a child’s specialty, There is no need to be afraid of.”
“Baby, let me tell you. Only parents who can’t solve troubles are afraid of their kids causing problems. I’m very powerful, so I’m not afraid.”
“Really?” Ellis’s eyes lit up, instantly dispelling all his disappointment.
Frank, who had witnessed the whole process, “…”
While Frank was self-reflecting, Evelyn had already lowered her voice and said something to Ellis. In a hushed tone, Ellis asked, “Is it really okay?”
Evelyn nodded affirmatively. The next moment, Ellis sat down on the ground with a ‘plop,’ his eyes turning red as tears began to fall, “Aunt, she’s pretending to be pitiful to trick money out of you. Just now, she wanted to deceive me into going with her. I don’t want to go back, she’ll kill me.”
“Dad already has a new wife and a new son. He doesn’t want me anymore. I haven’t eaten for three days. I want to eat lobster like my brother, and ice cream, and fried chicken with fries…”
As Ellis spoke, perhaps recalling the ice cream from earlier, he licked his lips, savoring the lingering sweetness of the cream. His current expressions and actions made the whole scene even more vivid.
Everyone was stunned, looking at the woman and child, then at Ellis…
In an instant, the crowd had the drama in their minds of the stepmother abusing the child and the biological father having no conscience.
Seeing this, the woman’s true nature surfaced. She shouted, “Brat, what nonsense are you spouting? I don’t know you at all. How could I have hit you? Don’t believe him, everyone. He’s lying, slandering me.”
Evelyn winked at Ellis, indicating he had played his part well.
Seemingly addicted to the act, Ellis sniffled as if genuinely wronged and said in a small voice, “Aunt, she really says she doesn’t know me anymore.”
“She wants to sell me to the hospital. She said my liver, my kidneys, my corneas are all very valuable.”
In the adult world, children couldn’t possibly lie. Hearing Ellis’s words, everyone immediately thought of some kind of underground dealings, sending shivers down their spines.
“Malicious, too malicious. She looked pitiful just now, and I actually pitied her, causing trouble for this child and his aunt.”
“I can’t believe I sympathized with her just now and made things difficult for this child and his aunt.”
“No wonder she kept stopping us from calling the police just now.”
“No, we must call the police.”
As soon as the words were spoken, two uniformed police officers approached from a distance. They walked straight to the woman and said, “You’re suspected of child trafficking, come with us.”
“I haven’t. Officers, you must have the wrong person,” the woman panicked.
She had only wanted to make some money to take her son out to have some fun. How did it turn out like this?
“It’s you… you’re the one who caused this, right?” She pointed at Evelyn, hysterically shouting, “Bitch. I’m telling you, my boss won’t let you off. You’re finished.”
With these words, she practically admitted to her crimes. People around felt an even colder chill down their spines.
The ones who had just spoken up found themselves supporting a criminal! Some realized that Ellis had been acting earlier, but now, they were too afraid to utter a word.
“Babe, let’s go.” Evelyn ignored the onlookers, grabbed Ellis’s hand, and turned away. Ellis, on the other hand, took a couple of steps and suddenly stopped. He turned back, looking at those who couldn’t distinguish right from wrong with the purest eyes, saying, “Grandma taught me that you can’t use your eyes to see things; you have to use your heart.” When his chubby little hand lightly patted his heart, everyone’s cheeks were heated with guilt.
Evelyn exclaimed, “Excellent.”
