Chapter 180 All In

There were no dice on the table. Instead, four dice seemed to have been pulverized into fine white powder, forming a perfect circle of dots on the table.
“One… one point?”
“Wendell actually lost.”
“This girl knows how to play.”
Wendell’s eyes narrowed as he grabbed four chips and threw them onto the table. “Another round.”
“Sure,” Evelyn smirked, “But let’s play a different game.”
Wendell frowned unhappily, “How do you want to play?”
“One round. Winning all the chips in front of you,” Evelyn’s bright eyes held a strong challenge. “Of course, if you win, all the chips in front of me will be yours.”
Wendell had eight billion in chips, while Evelyn had roughly fifteen billion. The advantages and disadvantages of winning or losing were clear.
Hector’s hand trembled slightly. Gambling fifteen billion in one round, was the lady out of her mind?
He hurried to a secluded spot and immediately dialed Henry’s number, briefly explaining the current situation.
“Boss, fifteen billion is not a small amount. Should we…?”
Before he could finish his sentence, Henry’s deep voice came through the receiver, “Let her play.”
Then, in a leisurely tone, Henry added, “If it’s not enough, add more.”
Hector: “…”
He was probably already out of touch with the normal world. The lady lost so much money, yet the boss had just chuckled? That kind of chuckle, with a hint of admiration. Did men nowadays really like women who squandered money?
When Hector returned, Wendell was still in a dilemma. He didn’t dare to casually accept a bet of fifteen billion, so he had to wait for Marcus’s nod.
As Marcus pondered, the onlookers had already begun to loudly discuss the situation.
“Eight billion against fifteen billion, Wendell’s got this in the bag!”
“Don’t forget, that girl won a round just now. Pretending to be weak at first, you know?”
“Winning once might be a fluke, but anyone who can win a second time against Wendell definitely hasn’t been born yet.”
Watching the hesitation of the two, Evelyn added, “If it ends in a draw, it counts as my loss.”
At her words, Marcus’s expression visibly softened. After a moment, he had the attendant bring a new set of dice cups.
“If we’re going to gamble, let’s use this new set of dice cups.”
The cups in the attendant’s hands were made of stainless steel, and even the dice inside were made of steel, weighing more than ten pounds compared to the previous set.
Even Wendell would struggle to roll these dice. How could a woman like Evelyn shake them?
Hector hesitated for a moment, whispering, “Madam, it’s not too late to stop now. The losses won’t be significant.”
Evelyn blinked and vetoed his suggestion, “Stopping now would mean I’ve wasted my fifty million bet, wouldn’t it?”
Hector: “…”
Compared to the fifteen billion, what did fifty million matter?
Evelyn nodded in agreement. Everyone watched with regret as she seemed on the verge of bankruptcy.
As the crowd whispered and joked, they failed to notice Wendell’s serious expression. He hadn’t used steel dice cups many times before, so he didn’t have the confidence to win. Taking a deep breath, he still asked Evelyn, “Big or small?”
“Small.”
Wendell exerted force with both hands, tossing the dice cup high into the air. Compared to the previous two rounds, the arc of the cup in the air was clearly off.
This time, he shook it for a long time, sweat beading on his forehead, before dropping the dice cup onto the table with a thud.
The attendant stepped forward to reveal the result.
When everyone saw the four ones, their eyes lit up.
Wendell raised an eyebrow, visibly relieved.
“Wow! Fifteen billion is in the bag.”
“Incredible! I wonder which family this girl is from. Won’t she get beaten up when she goes back?”
“Rich and foolish. Maybe her family is so wealthy that they don’t care about this amount?”
“Ha…”
Marcus chuckled heartily. “Take the money,” he waved his hand, indicating for the attendant to collect the chips in front of Evelyn.
The next moment, Evelyn slapped away the attendant’s hand with a cold expression.
“Don’t want to admit it?” Marcus’s eyes glinted with anger.
Evelyn lightly patted the hand she had just used to slap away the attendant, casting a disdainful glance at Marcus.
“What’s the rush? Have you ever seen a gambling game where the outcome is determined solely by one person?” She picked up the dice cup with two fingers. “I haven’t even shaken it yet.”
“Okay… Your turn, now.” Marcus narrowed his eyes. Even if she rolled four ones, what difference would it make? After a draw, she would still have to give up fifteen billion. He didn’t believe she could shatter the steel dice.
No one expected Evelyn to still struggle in this situation.
