Beatrice stood in front of their big picture displayed in the entertainment room. It is their wedding picture. She wipes her tears as she remembers what Rayver told her earlier before he left her. He answered her last question, which gave Beatrice an idea about the past.
“Who really is my mate?” Beatrice asked Rayver, who smiled at her and proudly answered her question using one name.
“Nate.” Rayver answers, which causes Beatrice to remember how she fell in love with Nate and how she was hurt by Nate.
Now that Beatrice remembers her past with Nate, she is still confused by questions like, Why did Nate do that thing? And Why does Naate still want me after everything he did in the past? All of that still questions Beatrice’s mind.
“Beatrice.” She turned to look at the one who called her. It was Celestine. “I’ve been looking for you earlier. Did you see Nate?” Celestine asked. She notices that Beatrice is crying, so she walks closer to her.
“What happened?” She asked as soon as she was in front of Beatrice. Beatrice wiped her tears, smiled at her, and then shook her head.
“Nothing.” She said. Celestine frowned and took a deep breath.
“You can tell me if something is missing in your mind. I would like to help.” Celestine said, so Beatrice looked down and sighed.
“I’ve talked to Rayver earlier,” Beatrice said. Celestine listened to her as she started to speak. “And he told me many things about me in my past and even told me some events that I’ve forgotten.” She added. “He also told me how Nate hurt when I was also hurting. We had this miscommunication and misunderstanding, which led us to divorce and led me to marry another man named Quiver.” Beatrice said and looked at Celestine.
“I’m just confused; I wanted to remember everything about my past and wanted to remember what really happened and why I had this short-term amnesia. I just wanted to understand everything as I sometimes remember some events, but those memories confuse me.” Beatrice said, so Celestine smiled at her and patted her arm.
“You know what, I understand you wanted to remember everything,” Celestine said. “I was thinking of one person who could help you to remember, and that is Nate, Beatrice.” She added. “Nate knows everything about you since he’s always watching you, from how you left him and married another man to how you got that amnesia.” She said and looked into Beatrice’s eyes.
“We can understand that you’re still processing some events that happened to your life in the past. We also understand your situation right now, and Nate also understands you. He always understands you, Beatrice, so if you want to ask anything about your past, Nate is there to answer all your questions.” Celestine said, so Beatrice smiled at her and nodded.
After she talked to Celestine, she decided to wait for Nate as Nate went out with Rayver.
On the other hand, Nate handed Rayver a bag of loads of money. Rayver saw it and looked to Nate.
“What is this for?” Rayver asked. Nate smiles at him and crosses his arms.
“I told you to accept something from me before I let you go,” Nate said. “That’s your salary for being my loyal Beta and serving me with your full loyalty to my clan,” Nate said. The truth is the money is not enough to say thank you for what he did to Nate. Nate wanted Rayver to start his new life with his brother and to his true tribe without thinking anything about money.
“This is too much,” Rayver said, Nate shook his head.
“You didn’t want to get your salary from me every time I wanted to give it to you,” Nate said and smiled. He is sad deep inside of him because his friend, brother, and the loyal Beta he got for almost 2 decades are now leaving him.
“I wish you luck, buddy,” Nate said. Rayver smiles at him after he calls him buddy. This is the second time he heard Nate calling him ‘buddy,’ as that is a sign that Nate is talking to him not as Alpha or a friend but as a brother.
“We will see each other again, right?”Rayver ask so Nate laugh and patted Rayver’s head.
“Of course, you still have one quest to complete before I fully let you go,” Nate said, so Rayver smiled at him and stepped closer to hug him. Nate keeps his cool and does not cry as he is despondent about Rayver leaving him. He couldn’t stop him, as Nate knew Rayver wanted to be with his brother.
“Goodbye, Nate.” Rayver smiles at him, so Nate nods and smiles at him back.
“Goodbye, buddy,” Nate said as Rayver walked towards Danver’s mansion.

It was dark already when Nate got home; he went to a flower shop and brought Beatrice a flower bouquet before heading home. He remembered that today was supposed to be the 5th anniversary, so he got her a gift. He expects her to be asleep when he arrives at his place, but he sees now that she’s still awake and arranging the table full of food.
“It’s already late, why are you still awake?” Nate asked, so Beatrice turned to look at him and smiled. He needs clarification as Beatrice cooks food this time around.
“Do you have any visitors to come?” Nate asked. Beatrice shook her head.
“Welcome home,” Beatrice said while smiling, so Nate smiled back at her, went closer to her, and looked at the food on the table.
“What’s we have here?” He asked and handed Beatrice the bouquet of flowers he had brought.
“This is for you.” He said so. Beatrice smiled and accepted the flower; she smelled it and looked back at Nate.
“Thank you.” She said and gave him a signal to sit down.
“Let’s eat,” Beatrice said, so Nate frowned.
“Haven’t you eaten already?” Nate asked so Beatrice shook her head as she answered and started to put food on Nate’s plates.
“Why?” Nate asked, so Beatrice looked at him as soon as she was done putting food on his plates.
“Because I cooked this all, and it takes time to finish it.” She answered.
“You should just let the maids cook it for you,” Nate said, so Beatrice looked at him badly.
“Okay, chill. I’m just curious what is happening now.” Nate said. Beatrice poured the two glasses of wine and gave Nate one.
“Cheers,” Beatrice said. Nate toasts the glass with her curiously and drinks the wine.
“Happy anniversary, my love.” Beatrice suddenly said, which caused Nate to be stunned and look widely at Beatrice.
