Nate turns to look at Danver, sitting on his couch and waiting for Rayver. Nate took a deep breath and looked at Rayver standing beside him. The twin comes to his house as Danver wants to talk with Nate about Rayver. Nate signals Rayver to sit beside his twin and look at his mom.
“Please look for Beatrice first., I will be back.” Nate said and walked towards the direction where the twin was sitting. He sits in front of them and looks at each other.
“How may I help you?” Nate asked Danver, as Rayver already told him his twin wanted to talk with him. Danver looks at his twin first before he looks back to Nate.
“I came here to talk to you about Rayver.” He said so. Nate nods and starts to pour the wine glass in front of him.
“What about Rayver?” He asked and looked at them as he finished pouring the glass of wine. He gives them one by one and drinks his wine while waiting for Danver’s words.
“How much?” Danver asked, so Nate frowned because of his question. Nate looks to Rayver, who is shocked by his brother’s sentence.
“What do you mean?” Nate asked. Danver sips his wine, puts down the glass, and then leans on the couch. This is the first time he will talk to Nate, so he’s a little bit nervous as his brother tells him how strict Nate is regarding conversations on private matters.
On the other hand, Rayver witnesses how these two Alpha talk to each other. This is the very first time he sees his twin talking to Nate, and he feels like he’s the one who is talking to Nate at this point.
“How much do you need so I can get my twin from you?” Danver said, which caused Nate and Rayver to be stunned. Nate looks at Rayver and smirks while Rayver looks at his brother, shocked by his sentence.
“What are you talking about, Danver?” Rayver asked and looked at Nate awkwardly. “Please forgive his words. He doesn’t know how to control his mouth.” He said and looked severely at Danver, who looked at him thoughtfully.
Rayver knows that Nate doesn’t need any more money as he already has nothing when it comes to money. Nate can buy Danver’s mansion three times if he wants. While Danver doesn’t think of his words. What he thinks is what he will say.
“What do you mean with your words, Danver?” Nate asks with his playful smile as he knows where this gonna end.
“I wanted to get my brother back and take him to our tribe because he belongs there,” Danver said, so Rayver suddenly stopped. This differs from expectations, as Danver told him he would negotiate with Nate about business.
“And?” Nate sips his wine and looks at Rayver seriously. This time, Rayver caught Nate’s look, so he was suddenly scared of what would happen.
“And I want to pay if ever you don’t allow him to come with me,” Danver said, looking thoughtfully at Nate. “Or I will forcibly command a war between you and my clan,” Danver added. Nate laughed as if he had heard a joke from Danver. Rayver closed his eyes in disappointment because he thought Danver would talk to Nate nicely without saying anything that might trigger his Alpha. Yet, here he is, witnessing how his brother threatens Nate.
“Please don’t mind his words. I don’t want to go with him and will stay at your place, Lord Nate.” Rayver suddenly said and bowed to Nate, so Nate laughed more because of his Beta’s action.
“Come on, Rayver, you don’t need to do that. Stand up.” His brother said and looked severely at Nate.
“Can you stop laughing? This is a serious matter.” He added. He doesn’t get why Nate is laughing now. He is serious about what he said; Danver can declare war between their clan if he wants, but little does Danver know that his clan is too small compared to Nate’s clan, and Rayver knows that.
“Okay…” Nate started to compose himself and became severe. He looks to Rayver, who still bows his head to him.
“Take your seat, Rayver.” He commands and looks to Danver. “First of’ all, you’re in my territory, so if you came here just to threaten my clan, I could kill you anytime if I wanted,” Nate said in his serious voice. Rayver turns to look at Danver, who is also severely looking at Nate.
“Now, you’re asking me how much money I want so you could get your brother from me…” Nate sipped his wine again and started his silly plan for the twins.
“I don’t need money as I have everything regarding that.” He said and smirked. “Let’s have a deal, Mr. Danver.” He said and put the wine glass on the table before him.
“You can get your brother from me in exchange for your clan,” Nate said, which caused the twins to be stunned. Rayver turns to look at Danver, who is now gritting his teeth because of anger and turns to look at Nate, who has a playful smirk on his lips.
“Nate…” Rayver calls his name, and this time, Nate knows that Rayver doesn’t like his idea. He laughs, looks at the twin’s face again, and then sips his wine.
“Of course, I’m just kidding,” Nate said, so Danver frowned because of what he said while Rayver sighed in relief.
“You can get your brother anytime you want. He can also go with you, but I have one last mission to give him before leaving my place and letting him go with you.” Nate said and looked to Rayver, who was looking at him.
“I want him to do three things for me before I let him go.” He said and looked back to Danver.
“What is that?” Rayver asked. Nate smiles genuinely and leans into his chair.
“First, I want you to accept something from me; take it as my gratitude. Second, I want you to talk to Beatrice.” Nate said, and this time, his aura became serious as he told Beatrice’s name. By that, Rayver knows that Nate needs help from Beatrice as he also knows their situation now.
“And what’s the third?” Danver ask. Nate sipped his wine before he said the last one.
“I want him to attend an event for me.” He said and smiled at Rayver.
