Nate enters his mansion with Eille, who follows him as soon as they arrive at the villa.
“Let’s talk about it, Nate,” Eille said, so Nate closed his eyes in annoyance as Eille started pestering him again. Nate turns to look at her with his sharp eyes.
“Can’t you just leave me alone?” Nate asked with a serious tone. Eille shrugged and tried to touch Nate’s hand, but Nate removed it as he didn’t want her to touch him. His blood has been boiling with her since earlier, back to what Eille did to their Organization building. Nate felt that he looked foolish earlier because of what Eille was doing.
“Please, I just wanted to explain my side,” Eille said and tried to keep her body close to him when Nate pushed her away, which resulted in her sitting down with the coach.
“I’m annoyed with you already, Eille. Can you just leave?” Nate said, walking to his mini wine area and pouring his glass with his favorite wine.
“Nate, I just wanted to talk to you about us,” Eille said, so Nate looked at him, laughed a little, and shook his head in disbelief.
“About us?” Nate asked and looked at the wine glass. “There’s nothing about us, Eille, what do you mean?” Nate asked, so Eille took a deep breath and swallowed while watching Nate. She doesn’t know what to say. She just wanted to talk to him and clarify as she was expecting something from Nate.
“Now leave me alone, leave my house,” Nate said, so Eille just looked him in the eye and nodded.
“Is that really what you wanted?” Eille ask. “I just want to clarify about our relationship.” She added that Nate closed his eyes because he’s been hearing this a hundred times.
“Eille, how often must I tell you about our relationship?” Nate asked, laughed a little, and then looked her in her eyes.
“I’ve been pushing you away for how many times, yet you’re the one who’s thinking that we have a relationship,” Nate said, drinking his wine. This is his comfort zone. It’s been his comfort since Beatrice left him.
“Can we just fix our relationship? Nate, we have a child. Caliber is seeking family. Why can’t we just fix our relationship for him?” Eille asked, so Nate laughed as if he’d heard a joke from her.
“Is that a joke?” Nate asked and shook his head. “Eille, I’ve been telling you we cannot fix it anymore as I no longer love you. Yes, we have a child, but it doesn’t mean we will fix our relationship for him. I can be a father for him, but I can no longer be your lover.” Nate added, so Eille looked down, shook her head, and laughed like a psychopath.
“And you think saying those hurtful lines to me will work so I could stop and let you be with your Ex-Luna again?” Eille asked and laughed and looked at Nate, who was watching her.
“I won’t let that happen. I won’t let you be with Beatrice again, Nate. After all, she did? Nate, don’t be a fool. Stop following her and beg her for love. She’s happy now.” Eille said, and this time, Nate laughed.
“You have the guts to tell that to me, huh?” Nate said and shook his head.
“Tell that to yourself, Eille. Stop following me and beg for my love because I am happy now,” Nate said, so Eille smirked and shook.
“I won’t. I won’t, Nate.” She said. “I won’t let you be with her again. You will love me again, Nate, I swear.” Eille said before she left him alone and exited his mansion.
Nate just watched her and let out a sigh of relief as she exited the mansion.
“Thanks for the fortune. Finally, she left me alone.” Nate said to himself while shaking his head.
A few minutes after Eille left, Rayver came and bowed down to his Alpha.
“Rayver, it’s nice to see you here again. Any news?” Nate asked. Rayver stood up and looked at Nate.
“As of now, Ms. Beatrice is doing fine with his Beta, and I think she’s slowly recovering from the pain that Quiver left her,” Rayver said, so Nate nodded and leaned to his mini table.
“That’s good to know. How about Axle?” Nate asks as he gives the order to Rayver to do some background research about Axle.
“I can’t find any strange action from him; he is just a normal teenager who chose to drop out of school and join gangs,” Rayver said, so Nate nodded; it’s not that he didn’t trust Axle; Nate just wanted to make sure that Beatrice is safe.
“Have you know about the Sun Faces organization?” Nate suddenly asked, so Rayver looked at him thoughtfully.
“Yes, why did you ask though?” Rayver asked, so Nate signaled Rayver to sit before him and join him to drink wine. Nate starts to pour the wine into his and Rayver’s glasses before answering his question.
“Isaac called us earlier and informed us about what the Sun Faces organization told him,” Nate said. Rayver just listened to him carefully.
“They’re finding this important person and even threatening our organization that they will start a clan war if ever they don’t find this person, yet the organization doesn’t even tell us who they’re looking for,” Nate said, so Rayver swallowed and took a deep breath.
Rayver knows about that.
“And now, Beatrice and I will lead the organization to find that person so we can stop the clan war they declaring to,” Nate added and looked to Rayver.
“How did you know about them anyway?” Nate asked, so Rayver looked at him and didn’t answer momentarily. And gave Nate a smile before he responded to his question.
“My brother is one of the members of that organization,” Rayver said, so Nate suddenly stopped and didn’t cut his gaze to Rayver.
“Remember the person I’ve been telling you as a child?” Rayver asked, so Nate tried to remember the name.
“Danver,” Nate said, so Rayver nodded and smiled bitterly.
“He’s my twin brother; he was the one who was supposed to be in that box, yet Danver tricked my parents and acted like Danver was me and pointed me as him,” Rayver said and couldn’t stop himself from clinching his fist as he remembered his dark past with his brother.
