Nate and Beatrice are shocked as they see Eille with Celestine. Nate knows that he only invited his mom to be part of this dinner as they will say the good news to her, yet Celestine came with Eille, shocking for Nate to know that his mom doesn’t like Eille.
Nate and Beatrice watched them sit down in front of them, Nate held Beatrice’s hand under the table while they were both watching Eille and Celestine.
“I’m so glad to see you again with my son, Beatrice,” Celestine said to Beatrice as Celestine was already sitting on her chair. Beatrice saw Eille’s glare at her, which gave her a warning feeling that she was planning to do something.
“Mom, why is she here?” Nate asked his mom so Celestine looked at Nate and smiled.
“I brought her here because she helped me,” Celestine said, so Nate’s forehead frowned. Celestine smiles and looks at Eille.
“She helped me earlier when my car suddenly stopped in nowhere. No cars were stopping for us to help us when Eille arrived and help my driver and give her extra wheel on us.” Celestine said, so Nate looked at Eille, who was smiling while looking at Beatrice.
“Since that happened, I realize that I need to bring her here to personally thank her for her kindness…” She added, so Eille looked at Celestine and smiled.
“It’s nothing, ma’am,” Eille said, so Celestine suddenly shook her head.
“Don’t call me ma’am. You can call me Aunt Celestine.” Celestine said and put wine in Eille’s wine glass.
Nate watched his mom and took a deep breath.
“You can just say thank you to her mom instead of bringing her here,” Nate said, so Eille’s ear hotted because of what he said.
“It seems like you don’t want to see me, Nate,” Eille said, so Celestine looked at Nate.
“Nate, what’s the problem? Is she not your girlfriend?” Celestine ask.
Celestine needs to learn the real thing between Nate and Eille. She expected that the both of them would be in a relationship because Eille is always with Nate. For Celestine, Beatrice is only part of his past, as the last time they talked, Beatrice told her that she would no longer go back to Nate as she was already happy with Quiver.
“Mom, what are you talking about?” Nate asks and holds tightly to Beatrice’s hands. His forehead frowned while looking at his own mother. “We’re not in a relationship. Is that what she said to you?” Nate asked.
Eille looks at him. “Of course not. I didn’t say something like that to your mom.” Eille defended herself as she was hurt, knowing that Nate would never introduce her as his girlfriend because of Beatrice.
“I only thought you two were in a relationship since she always follows you wherever you go,” Celestine said and drank her wine.
“I’m sorry. I guess I thought the wrong information, son.” She apologizes, look at Beatrice, and smiles.
“How about her? What is she doing here?” Celestine asked while looking at Beatrice. Nate took a deep breath and looked at Beatrice, who kept silent. Nate knows that Beatrice is hurting because of what she heard, but Nate is willing to prove that he and Eille have no relationship.
“I guess this is not the right time to tell you the news, Mom,” Nate said, looking at his mom. Celestine frowns and looks at Beatrice, she puts down the glass she’s holding and laughs a little.
“What is this news all about?” Celestine asked and looked at her son.
“Are you guys back together?” She asked, the both of them didn’t say anything. Even Eille is waiting for their answer.
“Tell me what the news is, Nate,” Celestine said seriously. She doesn’t like her son hiding something from her.
“No, We will tell you the news next time,” Nate said, looking at Beatrice. “Would you like to go to our room? Let’s go. You need to rest.” Nate said to Beatrice.
Beatrice just nodded to him and looked at Celestine.
“We will just go to our room, ma’am,” Beatrice said to Celestine, and Nate helped Beatrice to stand. Celestine and Eille watched them until they were both gone in their sight.
Eille and Celestine were left alone on the balcony. The cold wind blew, and Eille took the glass before her and drank the wine.
“I think they’re expecting to see me only,” Celestine said, leaning to her chair and looking at Eille.
“What happens to the both of you?” Celestine asks, so Eille looks at her and smiles softly.
“Nothing, Aunt. I think Nate only wants to be alone with Beatrice.” Eille said that deep inside, she wanted to hurt Beatrice because she was so pathetic in Eille’s sight.
“I really thought that you and my son had a relationship,” Celestine said, so Eille laughed.
“He’s my ex-boyfriend,” Eille admitted. Celestine was shocked, knowing that Eille was Nate’s ex-girlfriend.
“Really? I didn’t know that. My son never tells something to me about you.” Celestine said and laughed. “Nate is really a mysterious guy. He never said something to me. I think even his dark secret I didn’t know.” She added.
“It’s fine, Aunt. Nate and I decided to hide our relationship from our parents at that time because we were both young.” Eille laughed as she remembered how Nate reacted to her condition then. Nate wants to introduce her to his family, but she’s the one who keeps disapproving of it because she is scared of what their family says about them.
“Well, I see now why you always follow my son,” Celestine said, so Eille looked at her, Celestine smiled at her.
“You want him back to you, right?” Celestine asked. Eille smiled the moment that Celestine said it.
“Yes, I really wanted to make him mine again. But he already has Beatrice, and he loves Beatrice so much.” Eille said, and her blood boiled as she said that. But she needs to maintain her calm because she is facing Nate’s mom, and she needs to act like a holy angel.
“I think Beatrice doesn’t like my son as I already talked to her last time, and she chose to be with Quiver,” Celestine said, so Eille smiled fakely, knowing that Beatrice did like Nate and both liked each other.
“Why don’t you try to seduce Nate?” Celestine asked, so her head rose up and looked at Celestine. “Or try the things you guys did to each other in the past. I’m sure Nate will miss that.” She added, so Eille smiled.
“Are you helping me to get Nate back to me, Aunt?” Eille asked so Celestine could laugh and drink her wine before she spoke.
“No,” Celestine said and smiled at her. “I will never interfere with my son’s affair anymore. You can ask for my advice, but I will never interfere with his life again, as that is my promise to him.” Celestine answered, which made Eille flinch her hand in anger.
