“Babe, look what I’ve brought,” Quiver said, excited to present the baby clothes to Beatrice. As he arrived at their home, Beatrice turned off the television and looked at Quiver, walking towards her while holding many paper bags.
“Where did you come from? You hold so many shopping bags.” Beatrice said while smiling. Quiver smiles at her, sits beside her, and then kisses her lips.
“I passed by the mall with my beta, and he suggested I buy clothes for our baby,” Quiver said, so Beatrice smiled and looked at those shopping bags.
“Mr. Quiver is asking me what to give you as a gift.” Daniel, Quiver’s new beta, said while holding another batch of shopping bags.
“Quiver, you buy so my pieces of stuff,” Beatrice said, looking at Quiver.
“Well, the sales lady said these things are essential to the baby,” Quiver said, scratching his head while looking at Beatrice.
“I just wanted to give a beautiful life for our baby,” Quiver added that Beatrice’s heart was touched by his words.
Beatrice hugs Quiver and kisses him.
“I know, but we should buy this stuff together,” Beatrice said, smiling at Quiver.
“Well, I thought I should buy stuff like this alone because you need rest.” Quiver objected, so Beatrice laughed.
“Look, I also brought a crib for our baby, and I’m planning to redesign the vacant room next to our room and make it our baby’s room,” Quiver said so Beatrice couldn’t take off the smile on her lips.
“I can help you redesign that room, Mr. Quiver,” Daniel said, so Quiver looked at him.
Beatrice watched Quiver talk to Daniel about his plan for the baby’s room. His smile never fades as she thinks how lucky she is to have Quiver.
During their time together, Beatrice witnessed how kind Quiver is, how gentlemanly he is, and how sweet he is. Beatrice never imagines that side of Quiver.
During those times, Quiver acts like her husband, and he always gives what she wants. He always took care of her, especially now that Beatrice was pregnant.
This thing is new to Beatrice. She never thought about Quiver being so soft to her.
“Margarett is indeed lucky to have him in her life,” Beatrice said while looking at Quiver.
On the other hand, Quiver never felt so happy after what happened to his supposed-to-be Luna until Beatrice came into his life. Beatrice gave extra shine to Quiver and unlimited happiness when she arrived in his life.
Quiver was living in the dark when Beatrice was still on Nate, as Quiver couldn’t accept what happened to Margarett. Quiver always looked at Beatrice as Margarett, and she had the same face, and he was constantly reminded of Margarett because of its twin, Beatrice.
But now that he is with Beatrice, the twin sister of his Luna. Quiver can’t imagine her bringing light to the dark world where he came from.
Quiver is so thankful that Beatrice is with him now, and he promises to himself and Margarett that he will take care of Beatrice and the child she is bearing, too.
Quiver felt like Margarett was on his side now that Beatrice was his future Luna.
“I never felt so happy like this before.” Quiver suddenly said as he looked at Beatrice, who was looking at him. Quiver smiles at her and holds her hands.
“Thank you,” Quiver said, so Beatrice smiled at him. “Thank you for fulfilling my dream to be a father someday,” Quiver added, even though he knew the child did not come from him. He still wanted to give the best life for that child and their future child.
“I’m supposed to be the one saying thank you for accepting us. And for loving us.” Beatrice said, and her tears started forming in her eyes as she was touched by how Quiver took care of them.
“We both know that this is not your responsibility, that we are not supposed to be your responsibility, but thank you because you did give us love,” Beatrice said and started crying.
Quiver wiped her tears using his hand and hugged her to ensure everything was fine and calm her down.
“Margarett will surely be mad at me if I just dumped you and left you alone in the rain, just like what Nate did to you,” Quiver said, closing his eyes.
“You and that baby deserve to be treated with extra caring; you deserve to be loved,” Quiver added and smiled, knowing that Beatrice was so emotional because of her pregnancy.
“I love you, and I’m willing to give the world to you because you deserve it,” Quiver whispered, which made Beatrice smile.
“Just promise me one thing, Beatrice,” Quiver said in his serious tone. Quiver looked into Beatrice’s eyes, smiled a little, and then wiped her tears again.
“Promise me that you won’t leave me.” He said so. Beatrice was stunned for a second, thinking why he would say those words.
“Promise me that you won’t leave me because I don’t know what to do when you leave me alone, just like what your sister did to me,” Quiver said, so Beatrice smiled at him, thinking he was traumatized by her sister’s death.
“Of course, I will not leave you, no matter what happens.” Beatrice is sad and smiles at him.
Quiver smiles at her in relief, knowing that she won’t leave him alone. Quiver kissed her forehead and smiled.
“You know, I was thinking of this a week ago, and I thought this is not the right time to do this, but I can’t stop myself asking this, knowing that you can still leave me,” Quiver said, so Beatrice looked at him again.
“What do you mean?” Beatrice asked, so Quiver took something from his pocket.
Beatrice was stunned for a second as she saw what he was holding.
“Beatrice, I want to fulfill my life with you and give the rest of my life to you. Will you be my Luna?” Quiver asked as he held the ring.
Beatrice’s tears form again as she is so happy while looking at Quiver. She nodded in answer and started to cry.
“Of course,” Beatrice answers and smiles at him. Quiver smiles at her and puts the ring on her finger.
“Of course I will,” Beatrice added, joyfully hugging Quiver.
This is her ultimate dream: a wedding proposal.
When she and Margarett were a child, she always told Margarett how badly she wanted to have a man proposing to her very romanticly.
Margarett always tells her that she will find one someday, and Beatrice thinks that ‘that someday’ Margarett is referring to has happened to her now.
“I love you, Beatrice. I promise to love you until my last breath.” Quiver whispered at her while he was hugging her.
