Olivia’s injury looked frightening, but it was fine without the bleeding. She kept a fringe to hide it from her father.
Jacob was surprised but didn’t ask much.

Lucas woke up confused, something flashed across his mind and he found an empty space next to him. That woman left.
He had forgotten that they were divorced.
He sat up and realised there was a woman in the shower room, he put on his shirt and went over.
Olivia was back? He thought.
He knew that that woman couldn’t live without him.
He was full of confidence. He thought he must teach her a lesson about divorce and thinking whether should he let her stay out of sympathy.
But he froze when he saw the woman in the shower room.
He could never have thought that it would be Isabella.
She was drying her hair and smile shyly when she saw Lucas, “Oh, you are awake?”
Lucas’s face stiffened, “Why are you here? Who let you in?”
His tone sounded angry at the end.
He had never brought a woman back home before.
Isabella said sourly, “You were drunk last night, you called for me to fetch you home and refused to let go, I was forced to stay.”
Lucas looked even angrier; Isabella said nervously, “Check your call log if you don’t believe it, there’s history.”
Lucas walked towards the bed and checked his phone. There was one call for Isabella.
But that did not explain why didn’t he have any memory of calling her? He knew his limit; he wouldn’t drink until passed out no matter what.
Furthermore, calling Isabella was not likely something he would have done.
He knew Isabella was not trustworthy.
What happened last night was suspicious.
“Get lost!” He yelled at Isabella coldly.
Isabella frowned with teary eyes. But Lucas ignored, “Get lost! Don’t make me force you!”
In consideration of the situation, Isabelle wouldn’t want to be dragged out of the house in front of the servants. So, she put on clothes, packed up and left!
Lucas took a shower and found no weird feeling on his body, he let out a long sigh of relief.
He thought for a while and made a call to a friend who was with him last night.
“What did you say? I took off early last night, Nathan kept feeding you with alcohol, and it must’ve been his evil plan to put you and Isabelle together. It’s his sister anyway.”
“Sigh, just enjoy, you are divorced, no big deal!”
Lucas stunned holding his mobile, yes, he was divorced, what was the big deal bringing home a woman.
