“Olivia, we are at Mikado Club, come quick! Say my name when you arrived at the reception!”
Nathan hung up without a reply from Olivia. She froze for few seconds and stood up to get change speedily.
She walked down the stairs quietly and drove to Mikado Club alone.
Under the dim light, Olivia walked across the crowds and followed the staff to Nathan’s room.
She knocked and missed the odd expression on the staff.
The door was opened, it smelled alcohol but Lucas was nowhere to be seen.
There were a few drunken guys on the sofa, all of them looked in the direction where Olivia walked in.
This was the first time she met Lucas’s friend. It was hard to imagine that a calm temperament person like him will have a bunch of friends like this.
A man with a small pigtail came forward, “Are you his wife? I’m Nathan, someone brought Lucas away.”
“Brought away?”
Olivia was stunned, “Who brought him?”
Nathan laughed, “Isabella.”
Olivia froze. She bit her lips bitterly.
Why was she even here? They were divorced, but she still rushed over to fetch him. She forgot that he had another woman by his side.
She realised the door was locked when she turned to walk away.
“What happened? Why is this door locked?”
Olivia asked Nathan nervously.
Nathan was looking at her from top to bottom, the other drunken guys laughed and came forward to surround Olivia.
Olivia bit her lips and waited for Nathan, “What do you want? Let me go now!”
They stared at her like prey, Nathan stood aside and laughed evilly. Olivia thought of an unbelievable idea and shouted, “I’m Lucas’s wife, let me go now! Or else he won’t be merciful towards you!”
Olivia stood at the corner of the door, she was blocked by the men, she could feel the door handle but was unable to open it.
It was a trap.
She was no idiot, she understood her situation but didn’t know their motive. Weren’t they friends of Lucas?
Nathan looked at her and laughed out loud.” Lucas’s wife? Do you think we don’t know? He told us just now that both of you are divorced!”
Looking at her scared and pale face, he continued, “Do you think we dare to touch you without Lucas’s order? He wanted us to teach you a lesson for coming in between him and Isabelle all these years!”
Lucas Foster!
Olivia could taste a fishy bittersweet taste in her throat. Her eyes were filled with tears and would roll down with even a tiny movement.
She never would have thought that Lucas would allow her friends to treat her this way!
They were husband and wife!
He really hated her to the bone?
Olivia clenched her fists, her heart was in tremendous pain, and she could only watch them step closer.
She was awakened by the laughter and dirty words.
How could she live on if she was tainted by these men? The Cooper’s reputation would be destroyed!
She would rather die than be humiliated!
She clenched her teeth and threw herself onto the wall!
Nathan kept an eye on her the entire time, he quickly pulled her over realising her intention to suicide!
Despite not hard, Olivia still bled from the knock. Red blood rolled down from her forehead to the cheek, it was frightening.
They were all startled, they froze and dare not move forward.
They just want to enjoy, they didn’t want to kill!
Nathan blinked his eyes, pushed the crowd aside and squat in front of Olivia. He pinched her chin and said, “Olivia Cooper, you have clung onto Lucas for so long, he was fed up with you, now that the two of you are divorced, so stop the nonsense and stay away from him, understand? Or else…”
Olivia closed her eyes but her heart was in pieces.
She hated the way she was now because of Lucas!
If there was another chance, she would never allow that man in her life! She would never love him!
