Eille woke up early today because she was planning to go to Nate’s mansion, she was trying to check if Nate already moves out from the mansion he was living a few years ago or if he was still there. She was excited today because she wanted to see Nate; she would go to Nate’s place to try to talk to him again and see if he had a wife already.
She can’t just let Nate fall into another woman’s hands, especially since she’s back because of him. She attended all her meetings and appointments before informing her beta to cancel all the rest scheduled after 12 Noon.
After she had done her thing, she started leaving her apartment and drove to the nearest cake shop, she wanted to give presents to him, and also she wanted to surprise him. She was actually wishing that Nate was still in that mansion.
Eille’s smile is wide as she drives to Nate’s place, she won’t stop chasing Nate until he finally comes back to her, she starts to imagine things like Nate would surely surprise when he sees her later and excitedly hug her as she arrives in his place.
For her, Nate still loves her. That is what is marked in her mind, but there is Nothing more than a friendship relationship for Nate.
When she finally arrived in front of Nate’s gate, she saw a car parked in front, so her hopes suddenly increased as she saw that car as a sign that Nate was still there.
She happily exited her car and looked around Nate’s mansion, ‘Nothing has changed in his mansion. It’s still the same.’ Eille said in her mind. Her smile didn’t fade as she saw a person inside the mansion, so Eille pressed the doorbell and waited for the woman inside to open the gate.
During that time, Clerophine was inside the mansion sitting on the sofa and watching television while Nate was in his room sleeping, she wanted to have time with Nate, but her brother told her not to disturb him as he was tired from the business, so instead, of making time with him she just watch a movie.
Clerophine heard the doorbell ring, and she saw that the maid already went outside to check who was the person who rang the doorbell. A few minutes later, the maid stood before her, so she looked at the maid.
“Ma’am Clerophine, a woman is looking for Sir Nate.” the maid said, so Clerophine brows frowned and stood up from her seat.
“Who is she?” Clerophine asked before she went outside.
“She didn’t mention her name, ma’am.” Clerophine rolled her eyes.
“What a useless nanny,” she said and went outside to see who is that girl.
When Clerophine opened the gate, she saw a lady smiling at her and dressed nicely.
“Who are you looking?” she asked.
“I am looking for Nate. Is he there?” Eille asked. Clerophine’s brows turned up as she looked at the girl.
“Why?” she asked, scanning the girl from her head to its toe.
“Well, I want to talk to him and give him my presents,” Eille said with a smile, so Clerophine laughed a little.
“Who are you?” she asked.
“I am Eille,” Eille answered her.
“And?”
“And I am Nate’s ex-girlfriend,” she admitted. Clerophine’s blood suddenly boiled as she heard it right,
‘An ex-girlfriend, why would this lady do to our mansion? Will she say sorry to Nate and beg him to come back to her? huh, as if I will let that happen.’ Clerophine said in her mind. At this time, she has a plan already to get rid of this girl and never return.
“Did you know that Nate has a wife already?” Clerophine asked Eille.
“Ugh, I don’t think so, but Nate told me that he has a wife already, so that is why I came here to check if he’s telling the truth,” Eille said, so Clerophine laughed in her mind.
“So this witch didn’t know that Nate has a wife already, and she’s that idiot because she really goes into our mansion to check if Nate is telling the truth? How dumb she is.” She said inside her head.
“Well, what he said is true; he already has a wife,” Clerophine said, so Eille suddenly stopped. “So stop bothering him because he is already married and loves his wife so much.” She added, which made Eille’s heart scratch.
“Really? Is his wife there?” Eille asked; what she felt right now was unexplainable; she was hurt by what this woman in front of her telling.
‘He really said the truth. I am really too late for him.’ Eille said in her mind. She was disappointed in herself because she came too late.
“Yeah, and you are talking to her right now,” Clerophine said, so Eille stopped.
A smirk on Clerophine’s lips formed as she pretended as Nate’s wife; this is the idea she was thinking of earlier; she won’t let another woman join the battle of survival for Nate’s heart. She’s that selfish. She’s willing to pretend and hurt others’ feelings for her happiness.
“You’re his wife?” Eille asked. Clerophine laughed at her.
“Yeah, why? Do you have a problem?” Clerophine asked. Eille looked at her and started to scan her, “Is she really Nate’s wife? She looks young and looks like Nate’s sister, if ever,” Eille said in her mind.
“Now, if I were you, don’t you ever dare bother my husband again, or else I will pull your hair out of your head,” Clerophine said. The moment she told the ‘my husband.’ sentence, she felt like she was floating in the air,
“Clerophine, who are you talking with” The two of them suddenly looked at the one who had spoken, It’s Nate, and he’s just awake now.
Clerophine suddenly became uneasy when she saw her brother.
“Nate..” Eille called Nate. He looked at her, which caused her to smile. A frown on his forehead formed as he saw that Eille was the one who was talking with his sister.
“What are you doing here?” Nate suddenly asked and walked closely to them.
“Brother, you should have resting now. Why are you already awake?” Clerophine asked, so Eille looked at her.
“Brother?” Clerophine looked at Eille and rolled her eyes at her.
“You two are siblings?”
