Beatrice leaves the Coffeehouse with a smile; she has a good time conversing with her friend, Eille.
As Beatrice leaves the Coffeehouse, Ellie is left alone while still thinking of what Beatrice told her earlier.
“Margarett died during a clan war.” She suddenly looked outside and took a deep breath. She feels like a ghost from the past hunted her when Beatrice mentioned the word Clan war.
The truth is, she is the reason why the Clan war between the White clan and the Vougch clan started. She tells the deepest secret of White clan alpha to Vougch Alpha that made the two Clan fight.
She did that because she needed to.
She suddenly remembers how she betrayed the White Clan Alpha for freedom. She was the one who betrayed Nate during those times and left him alone, suffering. She loves Nate so much but needs to do that to have freedom. All her life, she’s just following the rules given to her; she became a slave, a low-class Alpha from the East, and she couldn’t do anything to break the rule because her clan’s life was in danger at that time.
And now she has come back again to make the right decision. She will find Nate and get him back; she’s also hoping that Nate will accept her again after what she did to him. She has already changed. She knew she was too young when she left him and was immature and weak when she left Nate alone, but now she’s different. She became more fearless, powerful, and mature. Eille is willing to do anything just to win back Nate again.
A deep breath came from her as she looked at her watch, it was already 12, but Nate was not yet arriving. She invited him to have coffee in the same place where she brought Beatrice earlier. She’s hoping that Nate will come.
After a few seconds, Nate arrived at Coffeehouse, he looked for Eille inside, and when he saw her, he immediately came close to her. Eille was shocked as she saw Nate become more charming, handsome, and mature. A smile on her lips formed, and stand up as she watched Nate come closer to her.
“Nate…” she called his name and was about to hug him when Nate suddenly sat in front of her and looked at his watch.
“What do you need?” He asked and looked at her; Eille smiled at him and sat down with a s disappointment; he didn’t even give her a chance to hug him.
“I’m… I’m glad you accept my invitation.” Eille said.
“I don’t have much time now, so please get to the point. Why did you invite me here?” Nate asked her; Eille forcefully smiled at him. He was so cold to her that she knew Nate was mad at her, but she was back now and changed.
“I invited you to be here because I want to talk to you.”
“Yes, of course, that was why you invited me here, but for what topic?” Nate asked seriously.
Eille laughed a little bit. “Come on, Nate, don’t be so serious. Aren’t you happy to see me again?” She asked what made Nate stop.
“Is that what you need to ask me?” Nate asked seriously and laughed. “Come on, Eille, until now, you didn’t even know how to be professional?”
“What do you mean?”
“Eille, I came here because you said we need to talk about something, and now that I am here, you will ask me if I am happy to see you again?” Nate said while laughing. “Honestly, why would I be happy to see you again? When in fact, I am hoping that you never came here back again.” He added, which made Eille stop.
Is this for real? He straightly said those things to her? She had known Nate before; Nate was so in love with her and willing to do anything to make her happy, Nate was willing to sacrifice anything for her, and he would never say anything that would make her sad. Still, now he says that he is not happy seeing her again. Does it mean he didn’t love her now? Or was he just mad at her?
“Nate, to be honest, I invited you here because I want to say sorry and for us to have closure for what I did to you,” Eille said. Nate was just looking at her and waiting for what she will say again.
“I came back here to correct my mistakes and be with you.” As Eille said that thing, Nate became more severe while looking at her, Eille suddenly felt him mad at her, and she felt Nate’s seriousness.
“Nate, can we please go back to what we used to? I’m sorry for what I did; in fact, I just need to do that for us, both of us, and our future.” Eille said. Nate didn’t speak.
“I am willing to do anything you want. Please forgive me; I miss you so much; you know how much I love you.” She added. Nate suddenly laughed as if Eille had told him the funniest joke ever.
Eille was offended when Nate just laughed at her after she said all those lines.
Is it too late for her to come back? Is Nate doesn’t like her anymore, or has Nate already moved on from her?
“Is that what you must say after inviting me here?” Nate asked her; Eille looked at him, hoping Nate would accept her again. What she imagined earlier was Nate would be happy to see her again and would hug her soon as he arrived at the place. She also speculated that Nate would accept her wide open after she said those lines, but what she imagined was different from reality.
“Do you have anything to say again? You know, just as I said earlier, my time is limited. I need to pick up my wife today, so I will leave if you have nothing else to say.” Nate said, which made her freeze.
Wife.
Does Nate have a wife? But who? ‘No, this can’t be real. I’m sure he just teasing me.’ Eille said in her mind. Nate suddenly stood up, so she looked at him.
“Nate, where are you going?” She asked as Nate was about to leave his chair.
“To my wife.” He answered and raised his hand where the wedding ring is there. Eille looked at the ring and back to his face. So he is earnest about the wife thing.
Eille watched him leave the Coffeehouse and sat down in her chair again as Nate left her alone.
She feels now that her heart broke into pieces as she saw Nate raise his hand where the wedding ring was.
Nate found another woman while she was gone, moved on from her, and was already married.
“I wish I never leave him.” She said in her mind as her tears fell down.
