Serena opened her eyes to multiple faces. She could barely recognize.
“Good morning, your Majesty.” She had them echo. They were waiting for her to wake up.
With furrowed brows, Serena sat up on the bed. She slept in the king’s room and can’t remember inviting the ladies to the room. What are you doing here? Who are you? Serena questioned, staring around the room. They were about seven ladies in the room, all smiling at her.
“Your Majesty, we came at the king’s order. He has ordered us to prepare you for the ceremony.” A red-haired lady replied to her.
“What ceremony is that?” Serena asked, looking very confused.
It’s been a whole week since Aurora and her father were killed. Things have been going smoothly since then, although she expected and anticipated her big day, where the king will officially announce her as his mate and will formally name her as his queen, she didn’t speak about it to him because she saw how busy he was in the last one week.
She didn’t want to bother him or make him think she was too desperate to be crowned, and she also believed that he knew what he was doing.
The ladies giggled, and the one by her right-hand side ended up pulling her out of bed.
“Wait! Calm down. I need to speak with the king. First, I need to understand what is going on entirely. Where is he?” Serena inquired.
“Oh, your majesty, he is not here, and you won’t be seeing him until it’s time.” The red-haired lady replied.
“It’s our time now. We are to make you look different and more stunning today, and please bear with us. We were permitted to do these, ” the red-haired went on explaining.
“Hmm, ” Serena pursed her lips forward. Okay, she agreed.
“What next?” She asked, staring at their faces. Again they all smiled before leading her to the bathroom.
The ladies, 4 of them, took their time bathing and scrubbing Serena’s body. She wanted to complain but remembered that it was the king’s order, so she just kept quiet. She also made to mind-link King Zed but felt as if he was blocking her out on purpose.
“Well,” she mumbled as she closed her eyes and allowed the ladies to work magic on her after bathing and drying her body clean. They took her out to the bedroom, there a big red gown looked heavy and full, laid down on the bed.
It looked exactly like the gown the royals wear in movies. Serena had no time to admire it as she was taken to a sit. Different lotions were applied to her carefully. They made sure not to overdo anything. After that, the towel around her hair was removed. Two of the ladies started working on her hair.
After about 30 minutes, they gave her hair a whole new look. Even then, another lady came and started working on her face. She was applying makeup to make her look so different. After they were done with that, her dress was brought up. They carefully put on her dress on her together with her shoe.
“Done.” The red-haired lady announced, and the others clapped their hands excitedly.
“I’m sure his Highness will love it.” One said.
“Yes, he won’t recognize her. I’m sure of that.”Another announced.
Serena had to walk to the big mirror available to see how she looked, and damn, she couldn’t recognize herself. She knows she usually does make-up and all, but what they did on her was on a whole new level. She started understanding what it was all for. Happiness crept into her heart.
Perhaps, it is today? Is King Zed finally marking me today? She thought with her heart beating so fast. She looked down at her big red gown that covered the whole floor. One of the ladies had lifted her gown to enable walk to the mirror.
How am I going to walk on these? Serene wondered. Although the gown looked royalty and beautiful, she feared she might trip and fall with it. They could embarrass her unimaginably.
“Don’t worry, your Highness, the two of them are going to be your escort. They’ll walk with you while making sure no accident occurs on the way. ” As if the red-haired lady who seemed to be the lady that knows her worries, calming Serena down.
“It’s not yet time though. The ceremony starts in one hour. Do you want to eat while waiting? Your Highness, ” the red-haired asked again.
“No, ” Serena answered. She wasn’t hungry and didn’t remember that she was even supposed to eat.
The thought of what was going to happen clouded her mind.

Walking out gently from the castle, she saw all the king’s servants knee in respect to her. They all have been informed. Serena felt her cheeks burn. Even the ladies that had made fun of her were all kneeling.
Serena, for the first time, felt powerful but genuinely happy that she had come this far.
Some minutes later, She was stepping out of the vehicle and reaching the supposed venue where everything could be happening. Serena kept hearing the loud voices of wolves from afar.
“Where is his Highness? Where is he?”Serena turned to the driver and securities that brought them there.
“Um, your Majesty, once you go in. You’ll find out for yourself, ” one of them answered her.
She turned towards the entrance of the significant buildings like manor and went in. She was getting worried because she hadn’t set her eyes on her mate or even Beta Adam. She didn’t even see granny Felicia amongst the servants who came out to greet her.
Slowly, she was escorted into the building and taken to the highest floor.
“Your Majesty, you can continue from here. The king is waiting for you in that room.” One of the ladies that has been following her announced before leaving with the others.
Serena took a deep breath before walking to the door of the room. She opened it to see King Zed indeed in. He was working on something but stopped once he noticed her presence. For the first time in a long time, King Zed smiled at her. He was delighted, and one could quickly tell.
His smiles got Serena blushing, and her cheeks became blooded red as King Zed approached her. He got to her and made for kissing her cheek, but Serena shook her head.
“Don’t ruin my makeup,” Serena informed.
King Zed scoffed and shook his head. “You are rejecting me now, aren’t you?”
“No, of course not. After the ceremony, I’ll do anything you want and more, ” she announced, blushing harder.
“Anything like what, my queen?” King Zed teased. Serena turned to back him, and she was already too embarrassed.
She heard King Zed chuckle before coming to stand in front of her.
“It’s time. Let’s go. We will do these fast because I can’t wait to be inside you, and I mean it. I want you to remember what you said just now because I’m not going to have mercy on you.” King Zed said.
Serena’s lips formed an -oh- as she stared up at him. She saw that he was serious, and that got her blushing again. King Zed took her before complimenting her.
“And you look more appealing than the moon goddess herself. And I really can’t wait to have you all to myself.” King Zed announced again before leading out of the room.
He took her to a space-like podium. From there, Serena could see the large crowd down. They were all cheering for their king and his queen. Serena’s mouth fell open as she had never seen a large number of wolves before. She turned to look at her mate.
“Um, I only asked those in LA and in the surrounding states to come. I hope you don’t mind that they aren’t all here?” King Zed asked, looking at Serena.
Serena gasped. “There are more?” She gasped.
“Of course, they’re just about 1000 down here. I figured out there couldn’t be enough space to house them and-”
“1000? Moon goddess! No wonder they are so many.” Serena interrupted and exclaimed. She was looking stunned at the number of wolves that were present for her occasion. An occasion that will change her life completely.
“They are more than enough, your Highness. They are more than enough.” Serena shook her head as she looked down on wolves that would soon be her subjects.
Two hours later, the ceremony ended. Serena now bears the king’s mark on her, and it rested beautifully on her shoulder area, although it was already healing fast. She couldn’t be happier. She sat down beside her mate as their drivers and securities took them home. King Zed wasn’t as patient as he thought he could be.
He made the priest that joined them together to fasten up the process. The whole thing was supposed to end in 4 hours but was completed in two hours. Serena could see how restless king Zed was as they were driven home. He could barely control his urges as he kept on caressing her, making her wet for him.
Arriving at his castle, he got down from the limousine with his mate. The servants there bowed their heads in greeting at the King and his queen. King Zed didn’t acknowledge their greetings but ignored them as he took Serena to the elevator to take them to his chambers.

King Zed gently dropped Serena on the bed and started pulling his clothes while Serena just admired him. After dropping down his clothes, he climbed the bed butt naked to meet her.
