“Have a seat. King Zed is not around. He’ll be back tomorrow evening or so.” Beta Adam offered.
Serena pulled out the visitor’s chair and sat down.
“I hope he will be pleased with my new character,” Serena said, flashing smiles at him.
Beta Adam chuckled again.
“You have nothing to worry about. I’m sure he’ll be pleased. He is the one who wanted you this way anyways,” Beta Adam said.
“Um… if I may ask, why does King Zed want me like this? I really can’t figure out the reasons.” Serena inquired.
Beta Adam relaxed on the seat.
“I’m sure he’ll explain that to you himself. It’s best if you hear it from him.” He replied.
“But can’t you just tip me off a little?” Serena asked, beaming smiles at him.
“No, if you were still the old you, then I might do that, but you aren’t the old you anymore. Anyways a new room has been prepared for you on the second floor. You won’t use your old room anymore.” Beta Adam said.
“But, isn’t that the floor you use? Why am I allowed there?” Serena asked.
“Because king Zed wants it. As I’ve said earlier, he’ll explain to you himself when he gets back. And aside from that, you can visit your brother if you want. Your brother has been a pain in the neck, constantly suspecting that king Zed and I killed you off and probably buried your body inside the ocean. Please go and explain things to him, so he will stop disturbing me,” Beta Adam narrated.
Serena snickered.
“He is my brother, after all. We all like to disturb. I’ll leave now if there is nothing else to talk about.” Serena said and stood up.
“Oh, you should go visit granny Felicia first. She’ll be expecting you.” Beta Adam added.
“Yes, of course.” Serena bowed a little before turning and walking out of the office.
She met the security guards that brought her from the airport, waiting outside there for her with her luggage.
“What are you waiting here for?” Serena questioned.
“We don’t know where to keep your belongings, miss, we…”
“Go to the second floor. You’ll see a room prepared there for me. I’m sure you can ask the others about it. I’ll be leaving now,” Serena cut them in and replied before walking away.
She walked out from the castle’s doors and started heading to the mini Mansion. All the servants and guards all came out to stare at her.
Most don’t believe that she is that Serena. They all know. They thought she must be someone close to King Zed or probably someone King Zed wanted to marry.
They kept staring at her as she walked through the doors of the quarter Mansion and went straight for granny Felicia’s room.
The few female servants there couldn’t stop glaring at her. They all looked jealous of her even tho they didn’t believe that she was indeed Serena, Isaac’s sister.
Serena ignored all their stares and stern glares. She kept heading to granny Felicia’s room until she got there.
She knocked twice on the door and waited.
“Who are you looking for? Granny Felicia?” One female servant Serena doesn’t know too well came to ask.
Serena turned to look at her. She looked at her for 5 seconds without uttering a word.
“I just asked a question, and there is no need to give me the deadly glares.” The servant scoffed at her.
Serena also scoffed without uttering a word; instead, she focused her eyes on the door.
She has started hearing footsteps coming to open the door for her.
The door opened from the inside, revealing granny Felicia.
“Serena, is that you?” Granny Felicia asked immediately.
Serena flashed smiles at her.
She took her hand and kissed the back of her palm.
“Do you miss me, granny?” Serena asked.
“Oh, child. Come on. I almost couldn’t recognize you,” Granny Felicia opened her door for her to enter. She walked in and closed the door behind her.
She could hear murmurs coming from the outside.
They all probably heard when granny Felicia called her Serena, and she answered.
“How are you, dear? You have become so much pretty.”
“I’m fine, granny. As you can see, I feel so good, and I’m happy to be back here.” Sirens replied politely.
“Good. Have you eaten? I know you must be exhausted from the long trip.”
“Um.. granny, of course, I’m a bit exhausted and hungry, but I’m planning to eat out with Isaac later on. Please don’t be annoyed.” Serena explained.
“No, of course not. How can I be mad? I can’t be mad at you. At least not with what you have become. I shall leave you to meet up with your brother. I know you must be dying to see him again. He’ll be so happy to learn that you are back.
He once called and disturbed to find out whether you are dead or still alive, but I assured him that you are hundred percent actual. He calmed down a little after I told him those words. I know King Zed won’t harm you.” Granny Felicia narrated.
Serena smiled again.
“You know? Do you know the reason why King Zed had me transformed? I’m kind of curious as to the reason.” Sirens inquired.
“You don’t know? Hasn’t he told you yet? Oh, that explains why Isaac doesn’t know either. ”
“Yes, I don’t know. Can you please put me out of the dark”
“No, I’m afraid I can’t do that. Only king Zed can tell you the reasons for what he did at his own time. He might explain the reason once he sees you. You don’t have to worry much and just wait. Be a little more patient,” granny Felicia explained and advised.
“Of course, granny. Thank you for your advice. I’ll keep that in mind.” Serena thanked.
“Okay, child. See you later then.”
Serena stepped out of her room, closed the door, and headed out from the mini Mansion, still ignoring the stares and glares.
She got outside, opened her handbag, and dialed Isaac’s number. She took in a deep breath while the phone rang.
The call got picked at the second ring.
“I was about calling you. Someone just informed me that you are back. Why didn’t you call to tell me? Do you know how worried I am?” Isaac scolded from the other end.
Serena smiled.
“Calm down. I’m coming over to your place now. Sit tight,” she said and disconnected the call before he could speak another word.
She walked towards the car they used to get her there.
“Hey, who is driving me?” She looked at the guards standing by the corner and watching her.
“I will,” two out of the three guards said at the same time.
“Come on, be fast.” She said and opened the back seat. She got in and closed the door.
The two guards both rushed towards the car, but only one succeeded in getting in.
He started the car and drove to the first gate.
The security guards there walked to them.
“Where to? Were you permitted to leave the castle?” The head guard asked.
“Open the gate and let me out, but if you insist you don’t want to open it, then be ready to get into trouble with king Zed because he allows me to go wherever I want to go, if you want to refuse his orders than it’s fine, I won’t…”
“Open the gate and let them out.” The head guard immediately shouted.
Serena rolled her eyes and relaxed back against the seats.
“Drive, this is my brother’s location,” Serena said, handing the guard her phone.
The guard received it and drove out.

Isaac sat impatiently in the sitting room. He stood up after some minutes and paced about the room.
“Calm down, she is coming, didn’t she tell you that? Why are you in a hurry?” Kendrick looked up at Isaac and asked.
“I should have gone to take her. Who knows if they’ll allow her out.” Isaac said, biting on his bottom lip softly.
“Since she already said she is coming, calm down and just wait or wait for her call.”
“Don’t blame him. That’s his beloved sister there.” Grey, who was playing a game on his laptop, chipped in.
Isaac ignored them both and continued pacing up and down. He brought out his phone and made to call her again but took down his phone.
After some minutes, he took it up again but took it down.
He sat down and waited for long before standing up again.
“She is supposed to be here by now. It’s more than 40 minutes already, doesn’t she remember this location? She might be lost.” Isaac said anxiously.
“She has a phone, man. If she is lost, she’ll find you, and she’ll call or something. She is not a kid dude, quit worrying.” Kendrick rolled his eyes at Isaac.
“That’s because she is not your sister. If it were yours, you would be more than worried. Stop giving me that face. I haven’t seen her for three months, a week, and three days now.”
Grey laughed.
“He even counted the days. Tell me, with your overprotectiveness, will you ever let her get married if she ever gets to chance to? I highly doubt that.” Grey mocked.
Isaac picked up the sofa pillow and threw it at him.
“You shut up.” He frowned at him.
The doorbell rang almost immediately.
The three of them turned their gazes towards the door.
“She is here,” Kendrick said. Isaac rushed to the door and opened it to see someone that really resemblance Serena.
It confused him a lot. He kept staring at the lady standing in front of him with a soft smile on her face.
Isaac opened his mouth to speak, but Kendrick spoke up before he could.
“How are you?” Kendrick, who was standing behind him, asked.
Serena pushed her lips forward. She made them aside and stepped into the sitting room.
“Your living room is still as boyish as before. So black.” Serena said, looking around the sitting room.
“Who is she?” Grey asked, dropping the game he was playing. He stood up on his feet.
Serena turned to face Isaac again.
“You have changed. How possible?” Isaac asked, staring at her from her head to her toes.
“How possible? Do you know how sad I am? It’s okay if others don’t recognize me at first glance. Why don’t you recognize me at first glance, Isaac?” Serena asked, frowning.
“Moon goddess, she is the one. She is your sister, Isaac.” Kendrick gasped.
Isaac closed the door and walked up to her.
He stood beside her and measured his height with hers.
“You are 2 inches taller. Are you sure you are my Serena? You don’t even smell like her. What did king Zed do to you?” Isaac asked, still staring at her.
Serena sighed tiredly.
She held her handbag more tightly and started heading towards the door.
“If you don’t believe me, then I’ll leave. Keep waiting for your sister,” Sirens half yelled, a little annoyed.
She opened the door and made it to leave when Isaac stopped her. He got to her and pulled her into a warm hug.
“Christ. How did this happen?” Isaac mumbled.
Serena smiled and relaxed into the hug.
“I missed you, Isaac. I missed you.” Serena mumbled.
Kendrick and Grey just stood and kept staring at them.
“Is that Isaac’s sister?” Grey whispered to Ken. Ken nodded.
“I want to date her. I want her to be mine.” Grey whispered.
“That will probably be in your dreams. I’m sure Isaac won’t allow someone like you who is incapable of protecting his sister to date her.” Kendrick whispered back in reply.
Grey rolled his eyes at Kendrick.
“Let’s see,” Grey said to Kendrick.
“How have you been? I mean… why on earth didn’t you call immediately you dropped from the airport. Do you know how worried I was? Do you…”
“Shuss, I got something for you.” Serena shut him up and said.
Isaac watched as she walked to sit down on the sofa in awe.
How on earth!
