THE CEO ALPHA KING
(-Three months later-)

Training had been too hectic for Serena. She thought of giving up for a long while. The tasks were too rigorous for her but, with time, soon started enjoying every bit of it.
She never went out of the mansion except on weekends. Developing a closer relationship with her wolf had made everything better for her.
Her understanding, wisdom, her strength, her speed, and sense of judgment.
Her wolf, Aya, would constantly correct her when she made the wrong decision.
Serena had also followed Carolina’s instructions on eating. She was taught on when to eat the perfect food for breakfast, dinner, or lunch. Serena had gained a few more pounds because of the significant portions of the meal Carolina always forced down her throat. She was no longer extremely slim. She was the perfect size for a model.
Even her skin has been appropriately treated. Carolina always makes sure her apprentices work on their skin every morning and night after training.
They could bathe her and cream her. It was hard for Serena at first, but she got used to it over the months.
One week she was left before she returned to L as Carolina had informed her the previous day.
Carolina had also taught her how to wear make-up, how light and thick her make-up should always be. Serena’s hair had also grown longer due to the lotion and hair oils Carolina ordered her apprentices to always use on her. Her hair had now passed her breast region and had gotten to her waist side.
The crown of her hair was straightened while the ends were curled up perfectly.
It was a very hectic journey, but Serena was glad to learn everything Carolina taught her. She couldn’t wait to go back to L. A.
The door of the training room opened, and both Carol and Anna walked in.
“Look at her looking all proud,” Anna joked. “You are going to steal all the boy’s heart once you start going outside.”
Serena scoffed.
“What boy’s heart are you talking about?” Serena asked, playing ignorant.
“Are you asking me that? Or are you just being proud considering now that you are already prettier than Queen Elizabeth herself? You weren’t this proud at the very beginning,” Anna pouted.
Serena chuckled.
“You just enjoy teasing me, don’t you?” Serena pointed.
“Woah, even the way you speak has also changed. Goodness! Ma’am did a whole lot of work on you,” Anna turned to face Carol.
“Please, can you make me more beautiful than her? That’s the only way I can survive around her from now on.” Anna pleaded, feigning sadness.
Serena scoffed. She stood up from the training bench and walked to meet her.
She collected the water Anna was holding and hit her on her forehead with it.
“You want to be more beautiful than I am, huh!? That will only be in your dream,” Serena rolled her eyes at her and gulped down the water from the bottle.
“Indeed, you have changed. I was really hoping you will. Though I need you to be fiercer, I don’t want you to be the free type. It would be best if you didn’t give people the impression that they can talk to you or be free with you. What I want them to feel is fear. I want them to admire you from afar and wet their pants once your eyes clocks with theirs.”
Serena nodded in understanding to her words.
Anna vomited the water she was drinking. She turned to look at Carol.
“What? Do you want her to be a savage sassy bitch? I’m not sure why you want her like that, but it isn’t good at all. I won’t be able to be friends with her once she becomes like that.”
“Okay, I will. I will try harder to be the way you want me. I also want to be perfect.” Serena said.
Anna snapped her neck towards Serena this time.
“No! Didn’t you hear what I said? I won’t be able to be friends with you once you become an emotionless bitch.”
“Then don’t. Not that I care, I’ll be leaving soon anyway,” Serena smirked at her.
Anna’s eyes widened.
“So you don’t even care about our relationship? You don’t care about me. You don’t care if I’m your friend or not?”
Serena looked away from her. She turned to look at her again.
“Of course I care. I was just trying to be tough. It’s really hard,” Serena said and grabbed her two hands.
“I’m sorry, I…”
“Never apologize, Serena. Even if you want to apologize, don’t make it too obvious. I’ve already taught you that,” Carol corrected her.
Serena left Anna’s hands. She turned to focus on Carol.
“Can’t I even keep being nice to my formal friends?” She asked.
“You told me you don’t have friends.” Carol retorted.
“I don’t. But Anna is my friend now, we have been in this together. I want to remain friends with her, even my brother. I can’t be tough around him. It’s close to impossible for me. I can be the way you want me to be to the public but not my close friends and brother. Ah, my brother even has a friend I can’t act tough with.” Serena narrated.
“Then what about your sister? I heard she was a total bitch to you.” Carol asked, folding her arms.
“Oh, Kate?” Serena scoffed.
“Kate will learn her lessons once I return to L. A. I’ll visit her just after visiting my brother. She will be the very second person I’ll visit, and I really hope she still works at King Zed’s empire because that is where I’m heading to. I want to face her publicly.” Serena said with determination.
Carol nodded.
“Good. You should be forgiving, but not to those who don’t deserve your forgiveness. I like that. Face your problems head-on,” Carol encouraged.
“Don’t be soft, act cold and tough, but don’t be cold-hearted either,” Carol advised.
“But… I have a question,” Serena started.
“What is it?” Carol asked.
“Why do you want me like this exactly? I feel like you want me to be unforgiving for a reason. Why is that?” Serena asked.
“Everything I’m doing right now is an order from King Zed. Everything is from him, to be his Luna….” Carol paused. “Uh, that was a mistake to be his servant. You have to be tough. You have to be like him,” Carol said.
“It doesn’t make sense to me, Carol. It doesn’t make any sense. Does it mean the King is doing the same thing to everyone around him? He wants them all to be tough. You even brought someone to teach me some self-defense skills. I’m not dumb, and I’m not as stupid as before, Carol.” Serena stared at her thoughtfully.
Carol coughed.
“I can’t tell you the main reason he wants you to like this when you get back to L. A next week, you can just ask him or his Beta,” Carol replied nervously.
“You are nervous. Why is that?” Serena questioned, taking a step closer to her. Carol also moved back.
“Hey, stay back. Your wolf’s aura has grown much stronger and deadly. I can’t really handle it since I’m just an average wolf,” Carol groaned at her.
“Oh, great then. Because I’m going to use it to get the truth out of you, tell me the main reason why King Zed wants me like this,” Serena began. “I’ve been so curious. I’ve been curious from the very beginning, and I can’t take it anymore,” Serena half yelled. She took a step closer to her again.
“Okay, wait. Wait, do you want me dead? If you want me dead, then you can force the truth out of me. If I tell you, I’ll die. So stop right there. I trained you. Don’t outsmart me!” Carol yelled at her.
Serena stopped moving.
“I heard you mention something like ‘Luna’ minutes ago. I hope I heard wrong tho,” Serena smirked at her.
“Let’s go, Anna.” Serena picked up her towel and dabbed the sweat off her face.
“Let’s go take a shower before I leave. Tomorrow is going to be another hectic day for me,” Serena groaned as she took the passage leading to her private bathroom.
Anna followed her. She got into the bathroom with her.
“So, the whole wolf thing is still surprising to me, but I’ll keep quiet and pretend I don’t know your kind exits, but I wanna ask a question. How does it feel being a wolf?” Anna inquired.
“The same way it feels being a human. The only difference is that wolves are smarter, faster, stronger, and can hear sounds from miles away. They can also see clearly in the dark. Sadly for me, I was a weak half-breed, but now I’ve bonded with my inner wolf, so I’m very much like werewolves now.” Serena explained, getting into the warm soapy water prepared for her.
“Hmm,” Anna hummed.
“I wish I could become a werewolf even for a day. I want to experience the things you guys experience. It must be so great.”
“Yeah, it’s great. It’s great being in your wolf form. Still, sadly humans don’t believe that werewolves are real,” Serena mumbled, closing her eyes.
“Hey, shouldn’t I call in the apprentices to bath you? Are you bathing by yourself?” Anna yelled at her.
“Yes, Carol already permitted me to start bathing myself. I’m happy about that so, please don’t call in anyone.” Serena mumbled again.
Anna dropped the clothes she was carrying and ran to sit by the bathtub.
“But.. all the things you said to ma’am Carolina earlier, do you mean all of them?” Anna asked
“I already told you, Anna. I was only trying to act tough,” Serena said. “You’ll keep being my friend. I care about you too. I’m not an emotionless bitch.”
“No, not that part. I already understood that part. I mean the part where you said things about that bitchy sister. Are you really going to disgrace her publicly as she had always done to you?” Anna asked.
“You mean Kate? Kate is no longer my sister, Anna. She is not my sister. Ever since I learned of how she hates me. I really don’t care about her anymore,” Serena said.
“But… are you going to do nasty things to her. I mean, now, you can even fight. I’m sure she doesn’t know how to defend herself, she’s just a crazy bitch, so are you going to beat her up till she starts pleading for mercy. I know she will be shocked to see the new you.”
“I don’t know, Anna. I don’t know if I’ll be able to do nasty things to her publicly. If she respects herself, then I might as well respect myself and leave her be just the way she wants it. But if she proves to be stubborn, I’ll surely teach her a lesson and explain what family really is,” Serena explained.
“Oh, the old Serena is still in there. I’m glad the old Serena hasn’t died completely.” Anna smiled. “So, one more question. What about King Zed? What about your King? What are you going to do when you see him again?”
Serena opened her closed eyes at the unexpected question. She shifted her head to look at Anna.
“Clearly, he changed you. He made the new you. I was just wondering what you are going to do once you see him again.” Anna added.
“I honestly don’t know what I’ll do again once I set my eyes on him again. I don’t know how I’ll feel or react to his presence, I’m clueless, but I’m hoping that he’ll be proud of the new me once he sees me. I want him to be really proud of me, and strangely, my wolf seems to agree with me,” Serena explained.
