THE CEO ALPHA KING (-Heartbroken again-)

Beta Adam stared blankly at the text for a while, not knowing exactly how to interpret it. He stared at the text again.
*I have her. If you want her alive. I am giving you the next 48 hours to get her alone, without your guards, Zed. See you *
He scoffed after reading it a second time. Who the hell is threatening king Zed? It made no sense at all to him. That individual doesn’t know king Zed at all. He doesn’t even need an army to kill a thousand, he needs to get angry, and everyone around him dies.
He smirked but then looked at the mail for the third time. I Have her?
Who could have taken the half-breed? A king’s slave. What do they want with her? But more importantly, how did they find out that she is no ordinary slave to him.
According to Elena, it’s in a prophecy book that the king will be saved, but did they know that the half breed will significantly affect him if abducted. Strange. This is very strange that individuals must have been watching, and they must have been inside the castle in disguise.
Yeah. Now I think that the guy who carried her out of the castle is the guy we need to catch. At the thought, he called back the guard he just finished speaking to.
* The servant who took the half breed out from the castle. Get him. He is the one we need if we are to find the half-breed.* He instructed before disconnecting the call.
He headed back towards the penthouse after the phone call.
“Where have you been?” King Zed questioned almost immediately. He came out from the elevator of the penthouse.
“Uh… outside. I called your castle. The half-breed, she is missing.” Beta Adam revealed.
“What do you mean she is missing?” King Zed groaned.
“Well, she was abducted. This mail was sent to you, your Highness.” Beta Adam opened his phone and handed it over to King Zed.
King Zed received the phone and read the mail. He scoffed after reading the mail.
“Who the hell dare threaten me with her…?!” King Zed growled.
“Um… I… I told them to track the guy, the new servant who carried her out from the castle.” King Zed looked up at him. He continued.
“She.. she didn’t leave the castle on her own. She was carried, drugged, and carried out.” Beta Adam explained.
“Ready the jet. We are leaving this instant,” King Zed announced as he walked past him to his room there.
“Yes, Your Highness.” Beta Adam replied.
Woah, she even has more effect on him than I imagined. This is good, so good. I’m hoping those bastards don’t harm her, though, and it won’t go down well if anything should happen to her. Beta Adam thought as he left the penthouse.

Isaac and his friends drove for a long time with the help of their GPS. They got closer to the estate and parked few meters away from the main gate. There were guards everywhere around the entrance.
“Woah, the security here is no joke. How do we even get in?” Grey asked as he stood from the back of the car.
“I honestly don’t know. It’s not always like this. It means that there is something important happening there.” Kendrick replied.
“Something important like what? Who owns this estate?” Isaac turned to Ken in question.
“One of the Alphas with the largest pack in LA. There are about three Alpha’s who have control all over LA. This is one of the Alpha’s estates,” Kendrick explained.
“So, it means those guys in black won’t even let us in. They are pacing around, and their eyes are wide open as if they are expecting someone. If they are expecting someone, who could the person be that they all look tensed up?” Kendrick asked, referring to no one in particular.
“Perhaps one of the Alphas. Or someone bigger than them,” Isaac said to Ken.
“That will be king Zed or his Beta, but I doubt the king will ever visit them. I doubt it,” Kendrick shook his head.
“It doesn’t look like a regular visit to me tho. Something important must be happening or will happen soon; they look tensed and not in a happy mood,” Grey chipped in from behind.
“What should we do now? Why on earth is Serena there for moon goddess sake. I don’t even have Martin’s guy’s number, and her phone has been switched off ever since. This is not normal, no matter how hard I think of it.” Isaac voiced out.
“I think so too. Maybe we should try contacting the guards that operate and controls the CCTV. They might find not a thing or two,” Kendrick suggested.
“It’s easy if you have a way of contacting them.” Isaac sighed.
“Well, I don’t have any of their numbers, but I can contact someone who can contact someone that will contact them.” Ken grinned.
Isaac scoffed.
“You are silly. Don’t tell me you are making a joke in this situation,” Isaac gawked at him.
Kendrick winked back at him. He pulled his phone out and went through his contact before dialing someone.
“I want to go out. I’ll go closer to them. Let me see how they will react,” Isaac announced. He opened the door and made to leave.
“Are you crazy? They might bundle you inside,” Grey snapped at him.
“That’s exactly what I want then. For them to bundle me inside,” Isaac retorted.
He pulled away from Grey’s grip and shut the car door.
“Hey, won’t you stop him?” Grey turned to Kendrick and spoke.
“See, when it comes to his sister. He does crazy things, and this is one of the crazy things he does, so let him be. He won’t answer me even if I try to stop him.” Kendrick replied, Grey.
The call he dialed got picked.
“Hello” a voice from the other end answered.

Martins prepared lunch for both he and Serena, and he dished the spaghetti he cooked into two different dishes. He placed two bottles of water on the tray and carried them all to the room he kept Serena.
He brought out the key and unlocked the door to see Serena sitting on the bed and just staring up. She didn’t turn or behave as if someone just entered the room.
“Hey, you must be hungry. I brought lunch,” Martins cooed. He kept the tray of food beside her.
“When exactly am I leaving this place? Tomorrow or the next?” Serena turned to Martins in question.
Her eyes went to the door that was left half-opened.
Serena listened to hear if those men were anywhere around the room but didn’t hear a single sound or a person’s breathing. She figured out that they might be far from the house since she isn’t hearing voices or sounds that show that someone is nearby.
“I don’t when exactly. It depends on king Zed. The faster we kill him, the faster you go from here,” Martins grumbled his reply.
“Eat, like earlier. It is not poisoned,” Martins said to Serena.
“No, I’m not hungry. I don’t have an appetite, actually,” Serena said to him.
“Hey, don’t give me that. You didn’t die from eating the breakfast, and it gave you strength instead, so stop being stubborn,” Martins grimaced.
“I know, I’m not just hungry now. You can leave the food there. I’ll eat it when I’m hungry,” Serena spoke up.
Martins scoffed, clearly annoyed with her. He took his share of the food and his water.
“I’ll be back in the next 40 minutes to check up on you. You better finish the food by then,” Martins groaned. He left the room and locked it from the outside.
Serena strolled to the plate of food. She wasted the food on the floor then took up the plate. She went to bed and sat, waiting for Martins to come back.
45 minutes later. Serena began hearing footsteps approaching the room. She also perceived Martins scent and was glad that he was finally back.
She stayed by a corner and waited for him to come in. Martins unlocked the door and came in. The first thing he saw was the wasted spaghetti. He turned to stare at Serena but didn’t see her.
Serena lifted the plate high up and then slammed it hard on his head when he turned to look in her direction. He staggered back in pain as blood started rushing out from the side of his head. He felt dizzy but held himself.
He turned to look towards Serena’s direction again, and Serena smashed the only table on his head again. He growled and fell to his knees.
“Bastard! Idiot!” Serena cussed as she lifted the table and slammed it on his back. Martins fell to the floor, his face rubbing the wasted spaghetti on the floor.
Serena immediately ran out of the room. She closed the door and started tip-toping down the hallway until she got to the front door.
Unfortunately for her, the guy in charge of the cameras saw her creeping out. He called the others and told them what was going on. They immediately left the front gate of the estate and started rushing back to the house.
Serena hid well when she heard multiple footsteps approaching. Unknowingly to her, there were cameras all around the house. The guy controlling the cameras told them exactly where she hid.
They went to her and forced her up. Serena struggled and screamed on top of her voice for them to let her go, but they were too strong for her; she was no match for them at all.
They started dragging her back to the room Martins locked her in. Martins had regained his senses by then and washed off the bloodstain from his head, and his wounds had also healed up.
“Leave her to me,” Martins ordered the guys surrounding her. They looked at each other and wondered if they should listen to him or not.
“I said leave her to me. I will deal with her on my own.” Martins roared at them.
The guys left her after that.
“Two of you should stand guard right here and here in case this happens again.*
He walked closer to Serena and grabbed her arm. He pulled her back to the room and locked it.
“What was that?” He turned to Serena in question.
Serena glared hard at him without uttering a word. “When I ask you a question, you will answer me!” Martins stated. He faced her closely, his face complicated and unreadable.
“Why did you try to run? Did you succeed now?!” He fired at him.
Serena spat at him then.
The very act annoyed him to hell. He took his hand to his face and rubbed the saliva off his face, he turned to back her, and the thing Serena felt was a heavy slap on her face.
The gravity of the slap took her down on her knees. Martins had slapped her.
“I’ve been playing nice. You pushed me to the wall. I don’t hit ladies, not to talk of weak ones like you. Don’t anger me again, and you won’t like what will become of you next time,” Martins growled at her before exiting the room.
Serena sat on the floor with her face buried deep into her palm. She sobbed her heart and eyes out.
She didn’t know how exactly they got her location. Could there be cameras then? At the thought. She lifted her eyes to stare around the room. Her eyes caught a camera. She went to it, picked up apart from the table, and hit it hard on the camera there, causing damage.
She went back to the floor, and she resumed crying her eyes heart. She couldn’t believe her luck. She can’t believe she fell for a guy like Martins who only wanted to use her. The thought made her heart bleed.
