Book:Mated To A Vampire Published:2024-6-4

“Please…” I struggle to mutter but it has filled my mouth already.
“Please!” I yell, after he removes it from my mouth. It is red, swollen, and watery.
“Let’s get to work.” He says, smirking.
“What work?” I look around and can’t see Rose. “Rose?” I get no reply.
“Let’s get to work, girl!” He yells and grabs me near.
“What work!” I shout, and he grabs me and kisses me. I try to free myself but all to no avail. Rose suddenly appears in front of me and shouts: “Stop!”
Greg suddenly stops, and wears his boxer again. He hurries out of the scene, maybe because of embarrassment.
“Rose, is this what we are friends for?” I tell her, sniffing and sobbing. She moves near me, and stoops low to my posture.
She attempts to hug me but I yank off her arms. She tries to calm me down but when I don’t agree, she yells at me.
“What if I didn’t stop him!” She yells, and barks at me.
“You shouldn’t have stopped him.” I retort, fiddling my fists, aiming to give her a punch.
“I guess you enjoyed it.” She smiles, and smirks.
“Please, leave my way.” I retort, and stand up. I move out of the wilderness and head home. I think she will follow me behind and grab hold of me as she always does but no she doesn’t. She sits on a soily heap and guffaws as I roam through the wilderness. She thinks I am lost, and can’t find my way? Why on earth will I be mated to a female? How possible? I walk, walk, and walk. I sight her now, she is holding her thighs and stomach with her two hands and laughing the hell out of her mouth. Nearly getting near a brick lazily sprawled on the ground, I hear people talk. No, maybe chatter. I listen attentively, and I can hear them clearly.
“Where is Rose?” A voice asks.
“She’s gone home with Max. After defeating Ben.” Another voice replies, the voice is breaking amidst.
“Okay! Where is Sophia?” Another voice asks, and I long to yell but I can only see Rose coming near me.
“I am here!” I yell, screaming at the top of my voice. Rose darts towards me, and before she can grab me, Rose grabs me instead, and hurries me out of the wilderness. Till we get out. Into the main street.
Rose grabbed me, she saved me from Rose. I also don’t understand. But I think I will understand now.
“Who are you?” Hairs on my skin stand erect, owing to my surprise and fear.
“Sophia, I thought you followed us behind?” She asks, and clasps her hands into mine. “Me and Max.”
“No.” I gasp, and stare at her. She stops walking, and stare at me too.
“Sophia, it is me.”
“No…” I stutter, and free her grip on my hand. “No, it’s not you!”
“It is me!” She screams. “Are you nuts?”
I try to run across the streets but she hurries after me. I can run faster than anyone. No, not in my wolf form. I’m not referring to Beau. I can run very fast so Rose doesn’t catch up with me. We run into streets, making cars screech and halt immediately. Some cars didn’t even give a damn, they continue racing the cars. I can see Rose behind me, grinning and sweating, hurrying her feet to catch up with me.
She stretches her hand to grab my cloth since she is so near but I immediately zigzag and run again. We get to another street but this is an highway. This is a very busy road. Without looking back, because if I do, I will get kicked by Rose. So, without looking back, I hurry into the street, and as I look back, Rose halts immediately, bringing herself to smash her head on the ground because she can’t maintain balance. I look back at her and try to halt too or hurry the more because of the car approaching with a great speed but I can’t help it.
A car rushes into me, and sprawls me on the street. It swirls me up as it goes up too but it immediately returns back and zooms off. I return to the ground with a loud thud, and blood gushes out from every side of my body. I can see Rose at the other side of the street staring blankly at me. She immediately rises up, and hurries into the street. She carries me up, and a car zooms into us and hit me on the ground again. I can hear my bones snapping. I try to open my eyes but I can’t. I’m seriously annoyed and surprised – why are these people so inconsiderate? At least, if you won’t take me to a clinic, them swerve to another spot, and don’t hit me again.
“To the hospital.” I struggle to say, and blood trickles from my forehead down to my mouth down to my throat till it soaks my garment. Rose carries me away from the street but while she does, a car zooms into us but Rose grows two horns at the sides of her head at once, and gives the car a leg kick. It somersaults, and the people therein cry for help as blood floods beneath the car. Rose returns to normal and speeds somewhere with calculated steps. She carries me into a chamber and I can see trees moving. She immediately drops me on the ground, and spits on me. She covers my eyes, and I can’t see what she is doing. But after few minutes as I think, I see myself sleeping in a bed. I immediately jerk up and Rose opens the door, and comes, running to attend to me.
“Rose?” I say, trying to register what occured yesternight, into my skull.
“Yes, it’s me!” She yells, and sobs. I sob too and we hug each other, tightly.
“What the hell happened?” I ask her but she pats me more and nudges me to be mute.
“Don’t think about anything. I will explain everything to you later!” She replies.
I nod my head, and she pats the bed. I nod my head in disapproval.
“I just woke up.” I say, staring deeply into her eyes, and a tear drops down my cheek.
She lays on the bed and turns opposite me. I sigh, and lie near her. She stands up immediately, and covers me with a blanket. She pecks my cheek, and switches off the illumination. Then she gently opens the door, and walks out.
I stare at the darkness, and heave sighs of confusion.
“Sophia?” A voice suddenly calls my name in the room where I am sleeping.
