Blanche was about to ask, but Kent immediately understood as if he already knew what was going on.
Harvey was put into the car and then closed the door before saying, “Come back for dinner tonight.”
Elena Bush smiled and nodded, “Good.”
Elena Bush waved at the guys and Harvey leaned out of the car window for a while before he remembered to ask, “Uncle do you know who Mummy is waiting for?”
Waiting for who?
His father!
Of course, he wouldn’t be stupid enough to tell him this at this time, or the little man would have to get out of the car even if he had to jump out to find Elena Bush.
“Uncle ……”
Harvey got no response and knocked on his back seat pouting.
“An old friend of your mummy’s, you’ll find out when we get back tonight.”

Logan Brown’s car pulled up steadily at her heels and she couldn’t help but pounce on the man as he pulled open the door and got out.
“You’re back at last!”
The two hadn’t been apart for that long since Harvey had been born, and this was the first time they had been.
She looked up at his cheeks, which seemed to have faded a bit, and was instantly distressed beyond belief.
“Haven’t you been taking care of yourself the last few days? How come you’ve all lost so much weight?”
“Missed you.”
Logan Brown curled his lips into a smile and quickly bent down to give her a peck on the cheek.
As if that wasn’t enough, Elena Bush cupped his face and stood on tiptoe to deliver a fiery kiss.
In the street, the handsome man and the beautiful woman kissed each other, causing passers-by to sneak a glance of envy and shyness.
Elena Bush was so passionate that Logan Brown was at a loss for words.
The man soon returned the favour and took the back of her head to deepen the kiss.
The kiss ended with the little woman burying her face in his arms and panting lightly to calm her breath, the sound of his rambling heartbeat in her ears.
Elena Bush hesitated for a moment before suddenly reacting, jerking her face up to look at him with some surprise, “Logan Brown, do you have moments of shyness and nervousness?”
“Ma’am ……”
Logan Brown lifted his hand and rubbed her cheek.
Elena Bush narrowed her eyes and rubbed it, “Hmm?”
“I’m a mortal too, and with the woman I love right in my arms and a rare moment of such passion, if I’m not nervous, you should reflect on your lack of ability to tug at my heartstrings.”
Elena Bush bristled and looked at him glumly, “Now then, do you think, do I still have it?”
“Yes.” He came up and nibbled on her lips again, “I was thinking of taking you to dinner and then a date, but now I’ve changed my mind?”
“What?”
She looked at him blankly.
Logan Brown straightened up and picked her up straight across the waist and gently placed her in the passenger seat.
It wasn’t until he was back in the rack seat that the man spoke again, “I intend to prove my passion and the unquenchable fire of lust to my ladyship from now until the evening.”
Elena Bush’s heart thudded, and she didn’t know what had occurred to her, but her heart instantly went up in the air!
She turned her head and looked at him slyly, “Logan Brown, you’re not saying what I think you’re saying, are you?”
“Yeah.” Logan Brown arched his eyes at her with a harmless look, “I am, as the lady wishes.”
Fuck what she wanted!
Elena Bush nearly gritted her teeth.
But then she thought of her own old bones and said softly, “Logan Brown, why don’t we talk about it?”
“No discussion.”
“……”
Elena Bush covered her face and couldn’t help the pang of depression and chagrin.
What had she done to get so damned overwhelmed with joy to hug and kiss him?
She’d gotten herself into a lot of trouble!
As dusk approached, Kent glanced outside at the sky and at the call that was not connected, then shook his head helplessly and said, “Never mind, I’m afraid I won’t be back tonight.”
Blanche looked at him with certainty and wondered, “Do you know who’s meeting Elena today?”
“If I didn’t know, do you think I’d be that comfortable letting her wait?”
“Who is it?”
“Who else but him.”
Kent said meaningfully.
Blanche, ever the wise one, blinked her eyes, then looked at him again, “Logan Brown?”
“Hmm.”
He arched his eyes and turned to steal a scent down on her cheek, “Here’s your reward for answering the question correctly.”
Blanche blushed, but pushed him away, “It’s getting to be that time of day and you’re still not being serious.”
Kent didn’t think so, he just held her tighter.
His chin rested on her forehead and his eyes narrowed with emotion, “In a few days, you’ll be my bride.”
He could hardly believe that he was looking forward to this day.
Blanche clasped his hand in the same way, “I’ll be your bride for the rest of my life and I’ll be by your side no matter what happens!”
“I’ve waited so long for this day, how can I possibly let go if you want me to give up?”
Blanche hooked her lips, her mood seemed good and the night outside the house was just right.
Abbie’s whole life had been a mess since she left Edward Ford’s place, and Kirk Burne had watched the daughter he had sent back demented, hating and annoyed, but not daring to take any offence.
The power of the three parties was enough to crush him.
The situation was the best it could be.
kirk Burne thought to himself, before he could breathe a sigh of relief Abbie had fallen straight to her knees and was in a trance for a while before she found her words.
“Dad ……”
“Abbie?”
“Dad, yes, I’m sorry ……”
Abbie kept apologising, kirk Burne looked distressed and gently took her into his arms and kept reassuring her, “It’s ok, it’s ok, it’s dad who’s sorry, I shouldn’t have handed you over!”
“Dad?”

Abbie’s eyes were vacant, and he wasn’t sure if he was looking at him or at someone.
