“What do you want to do? What do you want me to do?”
Listening to him on the phone with Logan Brown, Abbie’s heart went up and down, always feeling as if something bad was about to happen to her.
Edward Ford hung up the phone unhurriedly and turned to look at her again with a cold look on his face.
Abbie saw it for real and her heart once again pounded uncontrollably and violently.
“Edward Ford, didn’t you say you’d leave me alone? Didn’t you say you wouldn’t do anything to me?”
“Did you?” The man had a confused look on his face, “What I remember is that I would only let you go if you promised that you would do anything to me, but to think that I would let you go when you hadn’t done anything was a joke”
Abbie subconsciously tried to cower, but her arms and legs were so tightly bound that she couldn’t move.
Edward Ford was pleased with her reaction and a smirk appeared on his face as he watched.
When Logan Brown hung up the phone with Edward Ford, the woman was staring at him, as if silently asking him what was going on.
A large hand fell on the top of her head and patted it gently laughing, “I don’t think you and I need to worry about Abbie for a while.”
“Why?”
“Edward Ford took her away and figured it would be the same as what I was going to do.”
Elena Bush was a little confused, “So what are you planning to do?”
“kirk Burne must be thinking now thinking that we will only deal with his daughter, so at this point I’m sure we can breathe a sigh of relief.”
“So you want to take advantage of this to deal with him?”
That was pretty risky too, and Elena Bush didn’t sound like it was a very good idea.
Logan Brown shook his head, his heart aching at the thoughtful way she was thinking, and he couldn’t help stealing a quick kiss on her cheek somewhat.
“We need to cut the grass to the roots, what happened earlier has taught us too many lessons, so I will never leave it as long as there is the slightest hint of a hidden problem.”
The more Elena Bush listened, the more she couldn’t understand and a look of displeasure crossed her small face, “So what the hell are you thinking in your mind? How come I don’t know anything?”
“Want to know?”
“Yeah!”
Logan Brown hooked his lips and spoke slowly, “Abbie’s been taken away by Edward Ford now, and the people at the company are bound to be guessing what’s going on, and kirk Burne hasn’t had anyone at his knees to succeed him in this position, despite all the years he’s been in it.”
So when something happens, his men are bound to start fighting with each other to take his place!
Plus Edward Ford was bound to ask Abbie about her father, and Edward Ford had so many ways of torturing people that it was easy to get her to say something!
Elena Bush nodded with a vague understanding, “So you want to take advantage of this to take him down in one fell swoop?”
“Hmm.”
He gently held her head in his arms, “It’s not a small thing, so there’s going to be a lot going on, so be good and don’t let me worry, I’ll do the rest.”
She used to be so brave to stay by his side and drag him down again and again, but now it was different.
She knew how big this was, and Abbie’s father was not a small man in G, so it wasn’t easy to uproot him.
All she could do was to do her best not to disturb him or distract him.
Her small body arched in his arms in a petulant manner before her muffled words came, “I promise you, but don’t let me worry either.”
“Mmm.” The man nodded, then reacted to something and couldn’t help but laugh, “When have I ever made you worry?”
She was the one who never let her worry.
Elena Bush immediately puffed up her face, “It’s because you’re always so overconfident like this that I worry!”
If it had been any other day, she wouldn’t have worried or thought about it at all.
Logan Brown looked at the little woman’s anxious face and nodded, “Yes, yes, yes, you’re right, I’ll do whatever you say, that’s all right, right?”
The compromising words fell on her ears and she hooked her lips in satisfaction, humming in triumph on her face, “That’s more like it!”
“Try to stay with Blanche for a few days, Kent will take care of you, and don’t get too close to Harvey, remember who your man is at all times!”
Elena Bush couldn’t help but immediately poof out a laugh at his earnestly admonished words.
“What are you talking about, why are you targeting Harvey again, who was the one who had been indulging him for the last two days?”
Logan Brown deliberately pretended not to understand her words and said in a serious tone, “Even if it is indulgence, it has to be done at the right time, the brat doesn’t know any better and is getting ahead of himself.”
“Come on!”
Elena Bush busied herself with pushing his hand away.
“In short, I’ll listen to whatever you say, and I’ll take it to heart, but there’s only one thing, you must not put yourself in danger!”
Whatever he did, he had to put her and the baby first! They were the ones he should be worried about.
She was most concerned that he would do whatever he had to do to put himself in danger.
Logan Brown heard the concern in Elena Bush’s words and nodded again firmly.
A calloused hand landed on the top of her head and stroked it gently, “Don’t worry, I’m not a child anymore, I’m an adult and a man who can protect you mother and child, I’ll know the score.”
“It better be!”
Elena Bush muttered in a small voice.
It wasn’t long before the little one came running out and immediately sulked when he saw Logan Brown holding Elena Bush possessively in his arms, “Daddy, you’ve been sneaking out with Mummy again!”
Logan Brown didn’t move and let go of his grip and pushed Elena Bush into Harvey’s face immediately afterwards.
Elena Bush hugged Harvey and the little man’s face tightened in Elena Bush’s arms, “Mummy, how many times have I told you that you can’t take Daddy’s word for it! He must be sneaking around telling you I’m wrong again if he’s sneaking you out like this, right?”
Harvey had a wary look on his face, as if he had already seen through Logan Brown.
Elena Bush patted him on the head, “How do you know so much about your daddy?”
“That’s because I’ve seen right through daddy for a long time!”
The little one said, furiously trying to find someone behind him, but looking along he saw that Logan Brown’s figure was no longer there.
