The large living room was just the three of them at the moment, the butler was nowhere to be seen and Abbie was still kneeling in the right place with a devout look on her face.
kirk Burne watched Elena Bush leave with the child before he withdrew his eyes and spoke slowly, “Mr Brown.”
The latter’s eyes fell on him without a trace of warmth.
“Sir Brown, I know that Abbie really did something wrong this time, but she also did something so impulsive in a moment of anger because she couldn’t get love.”

Abbie turned his head and glared at him in the same way, as if he were looking at a stranger.

Abbie shook her head desperately, “You’re forcing me to die, you can’t do this, you can’t!”
kirk Burne didn’t answer, just turned straight away and went up the stairs, not wanting to look at her for more than a moment.
Abbie then remembered Logan Brown’s presence and turned violently to plead for mercy, only to realize in a split second that the man who had been standing here just then had left at some point!
