Blanche’s baby came suddenly, catching two people who had never been parents before off guard.
Immediately after Kent had settled Blanche that day, he called to see Elena Bush to learn from the experience.
Elena Bush was surprised when she heard and then was furious, “You didn’t even give a ceremony, you …… are unbelievable!”
Elena Bush hated it.
Kent all listened and said yes repeatedly.
“Anyway, Blanche is a girl, even if she doesn’t care, but you’re still a man, you can’t just really let it go!”
“I know.”
Kent nodded, scratching his head for a moment, “So what am I supposed to do?”
It was the first time he’d ever been in a situation like this, he’d relied on his imagination when Blanche had entrusted herself to him, but now he really didn’t know what to do.
As he spoke on the phone, he glanced warily in the direction of the bedroom, fearing that Blanche might get up at some point and overhear his conversation with Elena Bush.
Elena Bush bit her lip, “I’ll arrange it, but only if you’re prepared yourself.”
“So, what am I supposed to do?”
Kent was at a loss, like a lost child.
Elena Bush laughed, almost as if she could imagine him at a loss.
“It’s easy, the baby is only a month old, you have two months to take your time planning the wedding, give her a romantic proposal, and she’s got your baby in her belly now, so by all means, get the marriage license before then!”
Even if Blanche didn’t mind, she did.
Blanche had borne him children and it would be a bad thing if he didn’t give him a name!
“Yeah, I understand.”
Kent agreed, “You don’t have to remind me of that, and Blanche has a place in my heart that no one can replace.”
Besides, he had no intention of letting anyone else claim the title of Mrs Lewis, and Blanche was the best person to do so.
Elena Bush was exhausted from helping out with advice and keeping Logan Brown out of the way.
Kent asked a number of questions about what to look for in a pregnant woman, and Elena Bush looked subconsciously at Logan Brown when she couldn’t answer.
“Elena?”
“……”
Elena Bush flashed a flash of colour and wordlessly handed the phone to Logan Brown.
The latter took it and Kent froze for a moment.
And the young ninny then leaned over Logan Brown’s side and repeated Kent’s question in a wordless muzzle.
At this, the man’s face did not look confused, but rather a little pleased with himself.
The next thing Kent heard was the man’s cold voice slowly spitting out a list of precautions and things that pregnant women should not eat.
The two spoke on the phone for nearly an hour, and when he noticed Blanche waking up, Kent said, “I’ll call you later!”
With that, he ‘snapped’ the phone off.
Logan Brown shrugged and handed the phone back to Elena.
Elena Bush couldn’t help but fling herself into his arms looking up and giving him a hard barb on the cheek, “Logan Brown, do you think there’s a problem in this world that you can’t solve?”
Elena Bush had to admit that when she was pregnant she didn’t have to think about anything at all because Logan Brown was always there for her, and he was always there to help her when she was confused about something.
So, when it came to children, she knew almost nothing, and no one knew more about it than Logan Brown.
The man took in the rich expression on her face and his thin lips parted, “I’ve tackled the difficult question of how to get into your heart, what else could be difficult for me?”
Logan Brown’s face was careful, but he couldn’t find a single thing wrong with it.
Elena Bush bristled and looked at his handsome face and said, “So do we need to go to Kent and them better?”
All she had to do now was close her eyes and Kent’s handy gaze could come to mind, making her worry.
“I don’t mind travelling with them if you’re not comfortable with that.”
He always managed to do what was right for her and to let her go as she pleased.
Elena Bush was about to nod when she turned and seemed to think of something and got nervous again, “What about Harvey? Does he have to come along?”
“He can go or he can’t, if he wants to stay at Monica’s.”
Elena Bush was less worried about Monica and said, “Let him stay in Oceanside then.
By the time Kent had almost mastered how to look after Blanche, they could come back.
Elena Bush was full of thoughts about how to make things easier for Kent and Blanche, while the men were thinking about their long-awaited time together.
The two had different thoughts and set off straight away a little later.
A day’s rest was enough to restore Blanche’s health, but Kent looked at her as if she were protecting a precious piece of porcelain, carefully holding it in his hands for fear of knocking it.
Even going down a flight of stairs, he couldn’t wait to go up and hold her himself.
When Elena Bush and Logan Brown arrived, Blanche was telling Kent off for being too careful, much like she and Logan Brown had been when they were first pregnant.
Blanche quickly noticed the movement behind her and turned around with an embarrassed look on her face.
“Elena, Mr Brown, what brings you …… here?”
Kent appeared just in time, “I asked them to come, we don’t know anything and they are experienced and can at least look after you better than I can.”
Blanche shot him an angry look and whined in a small voice, “I don’t need looking after, it’s just a pregnancy, isn’t it? I’m not crippled yet, you’re making it sound like I’m too sick to move and need care.”
The mere thought of it made her think wildly.
What if Elena Bush and Logan Brown thought she was too much trouble because of this?
Elena Bush smiled nonchalantly and said, “No, it’s just a coincidence, Logan Brown and I were planning to take a break and just see you guys.”
“Right!” Kent nodded immediately, “Just passing through.”
Blanche gave Logan Brown a quick glance.
The latter nodded slightly, “Yeah.”
Blanche’s heart finally dropped, and if that was the case, she wasn’t too worried.
If that was the case, she wasn’t too worried. Besides, she thought that a man like Logan Brown would not lie to anyone.
