Orion clicked his tongue twice, “Clearly it’s your guilty conscience at work, yet you accuse me of being a voyeur. In my opinion, you’re the real pervert.”
“I can say whatever I want about me and my own woman, can’t I? Do you have a say in it?” Evan snorted coldly, “You’re just shamelessly jealous, unable to see others doing well.”
“Hmph, jealous of you?” Orion sat opposite him, “No shame in public, shamelessly flirting, shameless.”
Evan stared at him for a few seconds, “I see, you’re jealous of me, driven mad by jealousy, right?”
Orion, looking smug, “You figured it out?”
Evan, “…”
He said, “Get lost!”
Orion laughed.
Evan stood up, “Did you come here to eat?”
“I came to the restaurant, not to eat. How about a shower?” Evan, “…”
He really wanted to say, “Get lost!”
“Let’s go. I came here with someone to discuss things, and it’s all done.” Orion adjusted his expression.
Evan glanced at him, “You’ve been busy lately, huh?”
Orion didn’t deny this, he was indeed busy.
He is busy now too.
Intense work kept his life full, leaving no time for unnecessary thoughts.
“Do you have time? Let’s have a drink?” Evan asked.
Orion replied, “Sure.”
Evan put his arm around him, “How have you been lately?”
“What do you mean, how have I been recently?” Orion asked.
Evan sneered, “Asking knowingly. Definitely asking about how your life has been, what else can I ask you? Ask about your feelings? Your feelings, aren’t they as rotten as dung?”
Orion, “…”
“Can you speak more civilized?” “Am I uncivilized?” Evan said, “I think I’m quite civilized.”
“Oh, come on!”
The two of them bantered back and forth, walking out of the restaurant, trading insults as they went.
They got into a car and found a bar to go into.
Others were dancing.
They sat at the bar, drinking and chatting.
As time passed, they talked about unpleasant things and had a few more drinks.
Evan also felt suppressed.
He felt sorry for Sacha.
Not because he despised her, but because he pitied her.
He felt like he hadn’t taken care of Sacha well, causing her to lose the baby and suffer humiliation…
She used to be so sunny.
Such a good girl.
Orion also talked about his feelings for Luna.
On-off relationship.
Entangled for so long.
How could he easily let go?
Both of them had their own concerns.
They drank one glass after another.
“Now, isn’t Elijah the happiest one?” Orion put down his glass heavily and asked.
Evan nodded.
This was undeniable.
Right now, Elijah was living like a god.
“It’s so unfair,” Orion said.
Same people.
Some live a dull life, like him!
And some are so happy that it makes others jealous, like Elijah!

Elijah had just fallen asleep for a while.
The phone rang.
He was afraid it would disturb Freya outside the room.
He answered the call.
“Elijah, I’m at your doorstep,” Orion’s drunken voice.
Elijah frowned, “Do you know what time it is?”
“Hehe, what time?”
Elijah, “…”
He simply hung up the phone, turned it off, went back to sleep with Freya.
He woke up at eight in the morning after sleeping through the night.
Elijah pushed the thought of Orion’s phone call aside.
He thought he was just rambling drunk!
“Have a little more, you didn’t eat last night,” Elijah gave her some of his scrambled eggs.
“My appetite is only this big,” Freya said, “I can’t eat even if you give it to me.”
She put it back in Elijah’s plate, turning the beautifully made scrambled eggs into a mess.
Elijah, helpless, ate it himself.
“Today, I’ll take you to the hospital,” he said.
Freya replied, “Okay.”
After breakfast, they left the house.
When they opened the door, they saw two people lying on the doorstep!
