No matter how you think about it, it feels like his son stole her away from him.
After all, without him, Freya wouldn’t have this son.
He held Kai in his arms, “Go sleep with your little brother.”
Kai blinked his big eyes, not reacting at first. It wasn’t until Elijah put him in the baby’s bed that he realized it seemed like Daddy was stealing his mommy.
He grabbed Elijah’s clothes, “Daddy, I want to sleep with Mommy, not with the little brother.”
And then he climbed out of bed.
Elijah just watched as his son got off the bed and ran back to the room with his short little legs.
He sighed helplessly, forget it, he’d just squeeze in with them today.
However, when he came down after taking a bath, he saw Kai curled up in Freya’s arms, even provocatively looking at him, as if to say, Freya belongs to him.
Elijah stood by the bed, staring at his son for a few seconds, before finally giving in and lying down in the narrow space beside them.
He turned on his side and hugged Freya.
In a daze, Freya felt Elijah’s breath and turned over, habitually snuggling in his arms.
Kai, “…”
Elijah looked at his son, his eyebrows slightly raised, seeming to say, I won.
With a pout, Kai pulled over the blanket and leaned against Freya.
Fast asleep, Freya had no idea that her son and husband were jealous of her!
In the morning, immediately after washing up, she received a message from Eagle.
[I’ve got the stuff, sending it to your email.]
Freya, still in her pajamas, went to the study, turned on the computer, and saw an unread message pop up. She clicked on it and saw those explicit photos of Doctor Lee.
“What are you looking at so early?” Elijah walked over.
Feeling embarrassed, Freya quickly closed the screen, “Nothing.”
Her series of actions were seen by Elijah as suspicious.
Furrowing his brows, “What are you hiding?”
He glanced at the computer screen!
There was nothing there now.
People are naturally curious, and the more Freya hid it, the more he wanted to see it.
“Let’s go, let’s eat.” Freya got up and pulled him along.
He leisurely walked over, and after Freya left, he turned back to open the computer.
Freya had reached the dining room but realized Elijah hadn’t followed. She turned back to the study and saw him sitting at the desk.
She chuckled, “When did you become so curious?”
Elijah stared at the photos in her email, raising his eyes, “Is this also one of your interests?”
Freya, “…”
Before she could explain, she heard Elijah say, “Your taste isn’t that great.”
Freya, “…”
“I’m done, come out to eat, I still have to work later.”
After she left, Elijah grabbed her.
She turned back, “What’s wrong? Not eating breakfast?”
“What’s with the photos?” he asked, his eyes locked on Freya.
“Work stuff,” Freya replied.
Elijah didn’t doubt her, but wasn’t her work research?
How could it be related to those explicit photos?
Seeing Elijah’s misunderstanding, Freya quickly explained the situation, “I did it to cooperate with Doctor Lee, it’s actually for my own benefit since I really need the technology he has.”
Elijah thought what she did was a bit risky, “Don’t do this again in the future.”
“Got it.”
After breakfast, they left, and Freya thanked Eagle.
“It’s my duty,” Eagle replied respectfully.
Freya got in the car, “Let’s go to the hospital.”
While in the car, she called Doctor Lee. Just then, a message popped up on her phone.
[I’m getting married.]
