Chapter 610 Acting Like Pigs

“Not getting any useful information means that the mastermind behind this is very cautious,” Evan worried. Not being able to identify this person meant there was a hidden time bomb ready to strike at any moment.
Being on guard was necessary!
Elijah’s expression darkened.
He was probably worried too.
Evan suggested, “How about luring the snake out of its hole?”
The mastermind’s target was Freya.
By shifting Eagle from the light to the dark and isolating Freya, the mastermind might take action.
They could lie in wait and catch them off guard!
This was indeed a plan by Evan.
However, no plan could guarantee complete success!
Elijah just couldn’t risk Freya.
“Let me think about it,” he needed to come up with a perfect plan.
Evan also knew that it required a meticulous plan.
He decided to deal with the current situation first.
He glanced at a group not far away.
Looking at these scoundrels made his face feel like a waste of expressions.
Nevertheless, despite his disgust, he had to face them.
He wanted to witness these people suffer a fate worse than death!
Every one of them here would not escape inhuman torture!
They would not only suffer but also become incapable, unable to be men again!
After tormenting these people, Evan ordered them to be thrown into a car, packed like pigs in a high-sided vehicle, and sent to the police station.
Because these people had committed crimes, facing legal consequences and Evan’s additional methods, they would spend the rest of their lives in jail, a simple task.
When the police took over, seeing each of them battered and hanging on for dear life, they couldn’t help but ask, “What happened to them?”
Evan casually replied, “They were not cooperative when caught, so things got a bit rough.”
“Oh.”
With everything settled, Evan returned home.
He followed Elijah back to their residence.
Furrowing his brows, Elijah asked, “You’re following me?”
He was going home.
Evan touched his nose, “I heard you were going to see Sacha, is she okay?”
“Hmm.” Elijah replied.
Evan wanted to know more, “Is she mentally unaffected by everything?”
With patience, Elijah answered, “She has gained perspective and is preparing.”
Evan breathed a sigh of relief, “That’s good.”
He had been worried Sacha wouldn’t recover.
Though those who hurt her had been dealt with, the mastermind behind it all had not been captured.
This situation was not completely resolved.
He couldn’t explain it to Sacha.
He had no choice but to refrain from contacting her.
Perhaps, she didn’t want to see him now either.
Both needed time to cool off.
“Shall we go back?” Elijah looked at him.
Only then did Evan drive off.
Elijah entered the house.
The house was quiet.
As he climbed the stairs, he noticed Kai’s room door slightly ajar, with the light still on inside. He gently pushed the door open.
He saw Freya asleep on Kai’s bed.
He walked in, and Kai, half asleep, saw someone, “Dad…”
“Shh.”
Elijah gestured for him to be quiet.
Kai rubbed his eyes.
Elijah picked him up and asked softly, “Did I wake you up?”
Kai shook his head, hugging Elijah’s neck, softly, rustling, “Dad.”
He said happily, “Mom said she wants us to sleep together.”
Elijah looked down at the woman in the bed.
She wanted to sleep with her son, and he had no objections.
But who would he sleep with?!
