Freya and Elijah turned around at the same time.
Standing at the doorway was a woman.
A foreign woman with fair skin and yellow hair.
She looked young and beautiful.
Freya was sure she didn’t know her.
“Who are you?”
“Are you Freya?” Her Mandarin was quite standard.
If you only heard her voice, you might not connect her with a foreigner.
“Who are you?” Freya still didn’t answer her.
“I just want to know, are you Freya?” She was stubborn and assertive!
“I don’t know you.” Freya said and tried to walk away with Elijah.
Lila rushed over.
“Don’t leave…”
Before she could take two steps, she was stopped by Eagle.
She glared at Eagle, “Let me go.”
How could Eagle let her go? With a push of his arm, he bounced her away.
Lila stumbled back a few steps, stumbled, and sat on the ground.
She frowned in pain, got up, and dusted herself off.
“Why are you so rude?” The girl pointed at Eagle, looking very knowledgeable about the law, “Let me pass quickly, or I’ll call the police, you violated my rights.”
Eagle’s sharp gaze remained steady.
At this moment, Elijah walked over.
“Why are you looking for Freya?”
Lila looked him up and down, “Who are you?”
“You don’t need to know.” Elijah had already confirmed from Freya’s mouth that he didn’t know this girl. So her sudden appearance was strange.
“You don’t tell me, why should I tell you?” Lila didn’t compromise.
Elijah raised an eyebrow, “You don’t have to speak, but I can assure you, you will never see Freya.”
The girl stared at Elijah for several seconds.
“I am Adam’s fiancée, I heard that Adam was injured because of her, so I came to confront her, how could she hurt someone?”
Elijah’s expression was strange, silent for a while, not letting Eagle drive her away, but said, “Come in.”
The girl was really stunned, “Is what you said effective?”
“You can try, and you’ll know.” Elijah said.
The girl walked in.
No one really stopped her.
“Follow her, don’t let her get close to my wife.” Elijah said to Eagle.
“Yes.”
After Eagle’s response, he quickly went in.
He arrived next to Freya before the girl could reach her.
Freya was still surprised, how did Eagle come in, just about to say something to him, but saw Lila approaching.
The girl tried to hit her.
She was blocked by Eagle and warned, “If you try to hit me again, I’ll disable your hand.”
Eagle was tall and burly, with a cold and stern look.
He scared Lila in an instant.
She bit her lip and asked Freya accusingly, “Why did you hurt Adam? How dare you?”
Freya frowned, “Adam?”
“Yes! Adam is my fiancé, now his leg is broken because of you, and he is still lying in bed. Shouldn’t I come to confront you?”
Freya didn’t expect that she was Adam’s fiancée.
She calmly replied, “If he got hurt, it’s his own fault. Why didn’t I hit someone else? Why specifically him?” Before Lila could respond, she continued, “If you have nothing else, please leave and don’t disturb my work.”
Lila wanted to step forward but seeing Eagle, she gritted her teeth and restrained herself, “I have one question for you, can you answer me?”
“What?” Freya asked.
