“No.” Logan Brown hooked his lips and cupped his face with some surprise, “I thought you were joking, but I didn’t think you were serious, what did you do? If not, how could Edward Ford have let you out?”
Elena Bush shrugged, “I don’t know what kind of madness he was smoking, except that it wasn’t as good as you think, I’m in and out free, just one more monitor of my movements.”
With that, she cast her gaze farther away, faintly seeing only auntie Julie’s back.
Logan Brown scanned it and suddenly remembered something immediately squeezed her shoulder, “So can you come with me now?”
“Not yet.” She shook her head, “Logan Brown, I want to go back to our home too, but I know that now is not the time, and if I just leave, it will only bring more disaster.”
There would be no peace up and down the Ford and she didn’t want that ……
Logan Brown tightened his arms around her, his thin lips pursed.
Elena Bush hooked her lips and lifted her head from his embrace, then stood on tiptoe to drop a quick kiss on his slightly cool lips, “I’m sorry, but I trust you to take me away fair and square right?”

Elena Bush came around to stand in front of his tombstone, “Mum, I remember Logan Brown saying when I was here earlier that the next time I came over I’d bring the baby with me to see you, just ……”
She rubbed her stomach a little apologetically, “The baby came a little too late, so it’s not even born yet, but it’s something to bring.”
Logan Brown wordlessly took her hand and clutched it tightly in his, a seductive light smile always on his lips.
Elena Bush talked a lot, mostly about the baby and about Logan Brown.
The man stood quietly listening, listening to the pleasant sounds in his ears, as if he had found his whole body’s energy.

As twilight fell, and seeing that auntie Julie in the distance was already waiting a little impatiently, Elena Bush broke away from his hand, “I’ll go back first, I’ll come out to see you tomorrow.”

“No, I just don’t want you walking around with a big belly, what if I’m not by your side and you’re out in a crowd?”
The man’s brow furrowed as if what he feared would actually happen.
Elena Bush immediately rolled her eyes, “How could that be, I’ll take good care of the baby.”
“What about me?” The man couldn’t help but chime in as well.
Elena Bush gave him a sidelong glance and then let out a low chuckle, “It’s your responsibility to take care of me isn’t it?”
The two delayed for a really long time, auntie Julie had pressed on and turned to Elena Bush.
Seeing this, Elena Bush immediately pushed him away, “I’ll go back first, you should go back early too.”
“How are you going to get back when there are no cars coming or going here?” Logan Brown took her hand, a little uneasy.
Elena Bush glanced down at her watch, “I just told auntie Julie to have the Ford’s men pick us up on time, and they’re almost there now.”
Logan Brown was relieved to know that she was going to make it back safely, but couldn’t help but say with a wry smile, “What about me if the lady is gone?”

“By taxi.”

Logan Brown stopped her in her tracks just in time.

Elena Bush reluctantly took a few steps out and then turned back to give him a tight hug before finally giving up and leaving.
Looking at the little woman’s disappointed back, the man’s eyes were filled with nothing but determination.
As they walked out of the cemetery, they saw the car arranged by the Ford at the junction.
The butler looked at Elena Bush through the rear view mirror, “Miss Elena, Mr. Ford was furious when you suddenly came here today!”
“What?”
Elena Bush wondered, “Didn’t he say I could come out? Now that I’m out, he’s looking for a fight?”
“No, he did say yes, but he didn’t say you could meet with Logan Brown!” The butler sighed in chagrin.
Elena Bush immediately cast her eyes aside to auntie Julie, “You said that!?”
“Miss Elena, I didn’t!” auntie Julie shook her head with a terrified look, “I really didn’t, it’s just that Fang gave me a call and asked me where you had gone, I thought I would get the car over too, so I told him the truth, and then I saw you with someone else …… ”
“So you just said that?” Elena Bush grimaced, “auntie Julie, it was a promise that I would not talk to Edward Ford in the first place, no matter what or whatever happened, that’s why I kept you, did you!?”
If she wasn’t still in the car now, auntie Julie would have fallen to her knees again.
