Logan Brown’s pupils plummeted and suddenly it dawned on him exactly what Elena Bush was being threatened by, no wonder, he had always found it strange that Elena Bush had chosen to sign, so, so ……
Watching the change on his face, Edward Ford was instantly pleased, unable to hide his smugness, “Logan Brown, don’t you forget that Elena is not the only one in my hands, but your son as well.”
“Scum!”
Logan Brown couldn’t control his voice.
What kind of a man threatens a mother with her unborn child! He used the thing Elena Bush cherished most to coerce her into giving up another love she couldn’t part with ……
Logan Brown closed his eyes helplessly, as if he could clearly feel what Elena Bush was suffering in her heart!
Edward Ford was not impressed by his irritated words, but could not help but laugh, “Say what you like, after all, you are just a man who does not want to admit the truth.”
Logan Brown wanted to laugh, who was it that didn’t want to admit the truth?
Edward Ford didn’t care, his cold gaze was directed at him, “Logan Brown, let me advise you, if you take a step back, I’ll take a step back, just sign the divorce papers, I won’t come after you and I won’t lay a hand on your children!”
“How dare you!?” The man’s face suddenly sank, dark and penetrating.

Logan Brown looked at the bucket of words with no less shock and heartache.
I wonder if his heart, the one he held close to her heart, had the same in mind when he was forced to sign this document ……
His hand slowly picked up the pen and trembled.
Edward Ford looked at him and spoke kindly and admonishingly, “Logan Brown, don’t think I’m pushing you, after all you should know …… I just want Elena to forget about you completely and stay by my side. ”
“That’s not what she wants, does it make sense to you to push her like that?”
Logan Brown’s words, as always, were slashing and unrelenting.
Edward Ford said, “It’s only temporary, she’ll understand what I’m trying to do and she’ll know you’re not the one for her after all!”

Logan Brown questioned coldly, his cold eyes like a cheetah on its prey, and he wouldn’t let go!
Edward Ford’s grip on the armrest was almost deformed, “That’s not your business, I’m the one who will decide her marriage, and you! After all, you are nothing!”
“Heh.”
Logan Brown sneered, “Edward Ford, don’t you forget that Elena is a woman, she has to marry and have children, even if it’s not me, there will be someone else, do you think that even if you let her leave me behind, there won’t be anyone else!”
She was a human being of flesh and blood, with feelings, not a doll!
“Shut up!”
Edward Ford was irritated by the mention of the deepest sore point inside him, “What do you know, who are you to criticize me here!”
“Of course I know ……” The man’s voice was so cold and frightening that it was like falling into a winter moon on this hot summer day, the surroundings were freezing cold!
Edward Ford was speechless for a moment, staring at him in a daze, but the smile in the latter’s eyes deepened involuntarily, with a depth of meaning that he could not understand.
Logan Brown’s eyes fell on his body, a harsh gaze that looked as if it had seen through him, and there was nothing to hide in his whole body that was more frightening!
“Edward Ford, don’t you forget how Joanna Lake left you back then, and how she died!”
“You!” Edward Ford’s eyes showed utter fear, and a hint of madness and alarm, “What do you know all about?”
“The things you’ve done, there’s always a day when someone finds out.” Logan Brown smiled kindly, “I suppose Mr Ford knows that better than anyone?”
“Bollocks!”
Edward Ford shrugged off a hand, rightly so as if he was testing himself.
But in his heart went a vague fear that …… he was afraid that Logan Brown really knew, and that Logan Brown would tell Elena Bush everything.
Edward Ford’s panic had given Logan Brown a more than perfect answer, the man in front of him, clearly afraid that everything would be made public, that’s why he was upset, that’s why he chose to run away.
The pen he was holding in his hand was easily snapped off and dropped to the floor!
Logan Brown sneered, “Edward Ford, I will not sign this document!”
“Don’t threaten me about Joanna, she’s long dead and ……”
“Now that you know she’s dead you should face the truth instead of treating Elena like she is!”
Logan Brown’s words were surprisingly calm, as if he had known all along.
Edward Ford was completely lost, his grip on the armrest loosening and tightening as he shook his head, as if in denial, but with a look of bewilderment in his eyes.
Logan Brown looked at him slyly and said, “Edward Ford, don’t forget that the love of your life, Joanna Lake, is dead, long dead in the river. !”
“Joanna ……”
Edward Ford muttered, his eyes casting around, unfocused and unable to find his way.
The assistant took a few subconscious steps back at the sight of Edward Ford, afraid that if he went mad he would get himself involved.
Logan Brown swept the assistant aside and said, “I don’t want this document on my desk or in my sight any more, or you will not blame me for being rude!”
The threatening words were so powerful that they managed to set alarm bells ringing in the assistant’s mind!
He had to admit that Logan Brown’s words, surprisingly, made him want to obey as well ……
Edward Ford looked at Logan Brown who turned to leave and became nervous, rushed forward and grabbed his hand and babbled, “You can’t leave! You’re not leaving, you haven’t signed the divorce papers and my Joanna isn’t back yet …… you can’t leave ……”
Logan Brown looked down at Edward Ford’s appearance and couldn’t help but snort softly, “Crazy!”
