“Are you in a hurry?” Edward Ford looked at her, his tone as normal, as if bound before her she was simply being treated as a perfect work of art, and the bottom of his eyes involuntarily followed with a touch of nostalgia, “You really do look like her.”
“Pervert!”
Elena Bush snarled, “Edward Ford, I’m not her and I don’t look like her, so don’t recklessly accumulate all your feelings on me and don’t force everything you want on me!”
She was just Elena Bush, a perfectly ordinary woman, with her husband, her children, her family.
She doesn’t belong to Edward Ford either!
“Hush ……”
He plugged her lips and smiled wantonly, “Don’t be afraid, I’m just letting the baby come early, don’t worry, you’ll see him soon, very soon ……”
“No!”
Elena Bush screamed, a flash of fear rising from the bottom of her eyes.

The woman’s hysterical roar was like a perfectly played piece of music to his ears, making him close his eyes and take in the experience with all his heart and soul.
Half a second later, he opened his eyes again and said slowly, “But you chose Logan Brown between the baby and him, after all.”
“I didn’t!”
“You did.”
Edward Ford affirmed, not allowing her to question anything either, “Elena, just experience what you have lost and what you have gained for Logan Brown, without your child, and even a threat to the company, when the time comes …… will he still want you?”
Elena Bush squeezed her eyes shut, the man’s name kept coming to mind, and only after a thousand thoughts did she slowly open them again, a touch of despair tinting them.
“He can’t come. ……”
He wouldn’t know what kind of situation she was in now, so how could he come?
Edward Ford, however, thought she was desperate and nodded, “Yes, he’s not coming, that Logan Brown guy has abandoned you, so just die trying!”
The woman on the bed blinked her eyes, a hollow colour underneath them, tears slipping unconsciously down her face, her soul, as if it too had been drained away at that moment.
Edward Ford looked at her and was inexplicably frightened.
He had seen desperate people, but he had never seen a woman like Elena Bush.
In the final analysis, he was still afraid in the deepest part of his heart. He was afraid, afraid that she was as far away from her as Joanna Lake had been, afraid that she had disappeared as Claudia Garcia had ……
He had lost enough already, she was all he had left.
“Edward Ford ……” she cried his name in a hoarse voice, a sharp look in the bottom of her eyes, “if I sign it, will you do nothing to my child! ”
“Right.”
Edward Ford immediately promised, “Don’t worry, I made you a promise and I will never go back on it!”
“Promise?” Elena Bush gave him a sidelong look of mockery, “You promised me the same thing when I came to G. city Now who are you to make me trust you?”
Edward Ford was momentarily struck dumb, only then remembering that his credibility had gone up in smoke in front of her.
“Miss Elena!” Dr Thomas spoke up promptly, “I vouch for you on my reputation as a doctor, I am the Ford’s attending doctor and have been in the profession for nearly seven years, so I am willing to be a witness between you!”
“You?”
Elena Bush clenched her hand, “Can I trust you?”
“Yes!” Dr Thomas used the scalpel in his hand to untie her.
Elena Bush breathed a long sigh of relief, and the chill on her face eased a little, “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” Dr Thomas smiled slightly, “Miss Elena, that’s my sincere offer, how about you?”
At those words, the little woman froze for a moment, before lifting her face to look at him.
Only after half a second did she say, “I believe you.”
“Thank you, Miss Elena, for your trust.”
Dr Thomas nodded his thanks, then turned his face to Edward Ford, “Mr Ford, Miss Elena has already promised you, so you must not have any more ill will towards her child, not even the thought of harming him!”
Edward Ford didn’t take this lying down, he took the divorce papers out again and handed them over with the pen.
“There’s no point in talking, just sign.”
She took it with a trembling hand, barely able to keep it steady as the tip of the pen landed on the signature.
Edward Ford looked at her and said slowly, “Elena, think carefully, this is the only decision you will ever make and I don’t want you to regret it later.”
Elena Bush couldn’t help but let out a low laugh at his crowning words, “After all you’ve done, here you are now saying something sappy and sycophantic!”
“I ……”
Edward Ford moved his lips and the words that had reached his lips retracted.
Dr Thomas pressed Elena Bush’s hand and gently whispered in her ear, “As a doctor, while I don’t approve of people threatening you in such a way, it seems to me that at least …… the baby can be saved, no?”
It is the child that continues the hope of the next generation and is the proof that she continues to live.
Elena Bush clenched her teeth and took a deep breath, “I understand.”
As soon as the words left her mouth, the words ‘Elena Bush’ were signed without further hesitation.
Edward Ford received the divorce papers like a treasure, his eyes narrowed in a smile as if he had seen Logan Brown’s despair!
He quickly handed the butler the divorce papers, “Take them to my study and put them away, I’ll have them delivered to Logan Brown myself later!”
Elena Bush turned her face to him, her face as cold as it had ever been, “Edward Ford, a man like you deserves to never have Joanna Lake in his life!
The middle-aged man’s hand was still clenched into a sudden fist, a flash of gloom, “Elena, you too, don’t think you can do whatever you want just because you have my soft heart!”
He had a soft spot in his heart for her, but that didn’t mean she could continue to be arrogant! No one dared to contradict him, and that was something he hoped she could know better than anyone else!
