Chapter 465 Orion Truly Loves You

Book:You Are My Mr Right Published:2024-6-4

Orion was surprised, “How did you find out?”
“Don’t ask, just tell me the truth.” Freya asked anxiously.
Orion hesitated for a moment, not giving a direct answer. Deep down, he knew that what he was doing might not be right. He was taking Luna back so openly because she had lost her memory and forgotten about the past. He assumed she wouldn’t hold any grudges against him or his mother.
“I believe that if I bring her back, I can protect her. And now my mother realizes her mistakes and promises to treat her well, compensating for what happened in the past. I’m determined to marry her, after all, we’re meant to be together…” Orion explained.
“But, Orion, if Luna hadn’t lost her memory, would she still accept you? Would she be willing to face your mother? Aren’t you taking advantage of her memory loss to erase the past?” Freya couldn’t accept what Orion was doing.
If Orion truly wanted a future with Luna, even if they got married, they should live outside of his mother’s influence. If this happened to Freya, she wouldn’t forgive the person who caused her harm. She and Luna were friends. Freya understood Luna’s temperament. If Luna hadn’t forgotten the past, she wouldn’t accept Orion again. And it was even less likely that they could peacefully coexist. And now Orion was putting Luna and his mother together.
“But Luna has lost her memory,” Orion said.
Freya didn’t expect Orion to say something so selfish.
“Did you meet her? Did she tell you about this?” Orion almost pleaded. “Freya, I haven’t asked you for anything before, but I hope you won’t meddle in this matter. Ultimately, this is between Luna and me. It’s not good for you to interfere too much, and I don’t want you to bring up the past with her.” Orion almost sounded desperate. “Freya, I feel like this is a chance given to me by fate, you know? She didn’t die, and she has forgotten the past, allowing us to start anew together.”
Freya remained silent for a long time, but she had nothing to say. She hung up the phone.
Freya pressed her temples hard. Orion was afraid that Freya would tell Luna about their conversation through text messages.
“Freya, please, I’m begging you, don’t mention the past to her.” He pleaded.
After thinking for a moment, Freya coldly replied with a simple ” OK.”
She composed herself and returned to her seat, where she saw Luna sitting at the table, sipping her coffee. Freya walked over and sat down.
“You took quite a long time in the restroom.” Luna said.
Luna followed Freya after she left. So she had heard the conversation between Freya and Orion. Freya must truly be a close friend of hers. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have questioned Orion like that.
“Now can you tell me what kind of person Orion and his mother are?” Luna asked.
Freya said, “Orion truly loves you.”
“So, can I be with him and live in his house?” Luna pursued. Her gaze was fixed on Freya, waiting for her answer.
Freya couldn’t even meet Luna’s eyes. She lowered her head, pretending to be engrossed in her coffee and replied, “Hmm.”
Luna gasped in disbelief. She couldn’t believe that Freya said she could live with the person who had tried to kill her. Luna felt extremely disappointed. Just because she had lost her memory, did that mean she had to be deceived?
“I see,” Luna said, getting up. She looked down at Freya and asked, “Are we really close friends?”
Freya looked into her eyes and nodded affirmatively, “Yes.”
Luna smirked, a hint of sarcasm in her expression. “Is that so? I find it hard to believe.”
With that, she walked away briskly.
Freya thought of something and caught up with her. “Luna.”
Luna stopped in her tracks but didn’t turn around. “What else do you want?”
“I have something to tell you.”
“Go ahead then.”
