Evan glared at him, “Be serious.”
Orion replied, “I am serious.”
Evan paused for a moment and said, “I had a car accident. I suspect it was done by Dina. I need to inform Mr Silverton about this. I’m not fully recovered yet, so I need you to handle this.”
“DinA?” Orion had been too preoccupied with his own affairs lately and hadn’t kept up with what was happening with Elijah.
When Evan mentioned Dina now, Orion remembered Haley’s comments about her.
Could it be that what Haley said was true?
“Do you have any evidence?” Orion asked.
Evan shook his head. If he had evidence, he wouldn’t have just suspected her.
“Then what do you want me to tell Elijah?”
“To be cautious of Dina,” Evan’s eyes turned icy.
If he could find evidence, He would make Dina pay a thousandfold.
Orion got serious too, “I’ll go now.”
As he reached the door, he seemed to remember something and turned back, “Since you’ve been unconscious, it’s been Miss Lowe taking care of you. I watched as she genuinely cared for you. You better treat her well and not let her down after all the affection she has for you.”
The first person Evan saw when he woke up was Sacha. He was also surprised. Amidst the surprise, he also did some thinking. It was time to face his relationship with Sacha.
He urged Orion, “I understand, hurry up and go.”
Seeing that Evan was considering it on his own, Orion didn’t say anything further.

Orion arrived at the KaiGenius Group. The whole company now knew that Dina was going to marry Elijah. Of course, Dina made sure everyone knew. She had fought hard to climb up the ladder, so she wanted everyone to know. That way, she could satisfy her vanity.
Orion arrived at the company but didn’t see Elijah. Instead, he heard about Elijah and Dina getting married. He was puzzled, but he didn’t lose his composure like before. Something must have happened.
He quickly called Elijah, wanting to meet up. “Where are you? I need to talk to you.”
Elijah gave him an address, and he immediately rushed over. When he saw Elijah, the first thing he said was, “Your secretary may be betraying you. You need to be careful around her.”
Elijah slowly lifted his eyelids, his gaze cold and distant, “Hmm?”
“Evan woke up. He suspects Dina caused his car accident, but there’s no evidence… I had my doubts about your secretary at first, but when I heard you were marrying her, I knew she had betrayed you.” Orion explained to Elijah.
Elijah remained expressionless upon hearing Evan’s awakening, but he felt a sense of relief deep inside. It was the only good news he had received lately. However, Orion seemed different this time. He wasn’t as restless as before. His sensitivity towards matters had noticeably improved. A few days apart had made a difference.
“What about Freya?” Orion now worried about her.
Elijah didn’t answer directly and asked, “Did the doctor say anything when Evan woke up?”
“He’s perfectly healthy, will be up and about in a few days,” Orion replied, concerned about Elijah’s current situation.
With his dominant personality, being forced to marry his secretary meant something big had happened.
“I’ve been busy recently, and I’ve handled most of the necessary matters quite well. Is there anything I can help with?” Orion asked.
Their options were limited for now. If Kai couldn’t be healed, they couldn’t touch Dina for the time being. They could only rely on updates from Freya.

Freya had already administered medication to Kai. Although the medication had been tested and Sivin didn’t show any adverse reactions, he was still a child, and Kai’s small body was fragile. With medication, they had to constantly monitor his condition. Elowen and Linda didn’t understand medical knowledge. Freya was worried, so she personally took care of him without any negligence. She couldn’t even close her eyes. Others saw how hard she worked, but they couldn’t be of much help. They did their best to take care of her, easing her burden.
Late at night, Freya sat by the bedside, feeling extremely tired. She yawned and said, “Mom, please make me a cup of coffee.”
She needed to stay alert. Elowen saw how exhausted she was, but her ability to help was limited. Letting out a deep sigh, Elowen turned to make some coffee.
After drinking it, Freya felt more awake and said to Elowen, “Mom, it’s very late. You should go rest.”
Elowen replied, “I can stay and keep watch.”
“I feel more at ease taking care of him myself,” Freya said.
Elowen had no choice but to go rest.
Kai slept restlessly. Waking up, he mumbled, “Papa…”
Freya picked him up.
In a gentle voice, she comforted him, “Mama is here.”
Kai might still be drowsy, occasionally waking up, but as long as Freya held him, he wouldn’t fuss. Due to the persistent low-grade fever, his mental state had been poor. In the early hours of the morning, Freya gave Kai some water a few times, and the fever gradually subsided. He could eat in the morning. He hadn’t had much appetite these past few days due to feeling unwell. Seeing him in better spirits in the morning, Freya felt relieved.
Elowen held Kai and said, “He’s finally getting better.”
Freya felt a sense of relief too.
“Why don’t you go get some rest?” Elowen suggested to her daughter.
Freya stretched her waist. She was indeed tired, but it hadn’t been 24 hours yet, so she said, “I’ll wait a little longer.”
Elowen, also a mother herself, understood Freya’s thoughts and didn’t insist.
“Oh, the rashes on Kai’s body have faded a bit,” Elowen observed his body and was pleasantly surprised.
Freya saw it too and couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. The hard work of these past few days had finally paid off. She bent down to pick up her phone and dialed Elijah’s number. He answered quickly.
She got straight to the point, “Kai is better. The medication is working.”
That was also a signal for Elijah to deal with Dina. Freya’s eyes held an unprecedented coldness, “I don’t care what methods you use, but I never want to see this person again.”
Elijah thought the same, once Kai was involved, there was only one result for her: death!
“I’ll take care of it as soon as possible.” Elijah said.
Freya hung up the phone and tossed it aside, sinking back into the couch.

Elijah had someone discreetly tailing the secretary, on one hand, to keep track of her whereabouts, and on the other hand, to discover the medication for treating Kai. But before he could make a move, someone else beat him to it.
It was Haley and that man. Haley already hated Dina, and Orion refused to give her any money. She was in desperate need of cash now. The man felt the same way. So the two of them orchestrated a kidnapping. The man took the lead in luring out Dina. They drugged her and took her to an abandoned building in the outskirts of the city.
“Someone’s moved before me, Mr Silverton. She’s currently being held captive in an abandoned building on the outskirts. I was just about to report.” The person who was responsible for monitoring Dina said.
Elijah became intrigued. “Let’s go.”
He would like to see how many enemies she had.
