Orion had evidence in his hands, but he wasn’t certain if it would be enough to bring down the Holt family. However, with Haley’s confession, everything changed.
Orion sent Haley away to wait for updates, and then he immediately uploaded the recording online. This incident had already caused quite a stir, and in the age of the internet, nothing could remain hidden from public scrutiny. Soon, Ten Holt’s actions were exposed, and the hospital was flooded with media and angry netizens. Ten Holt and his wife rushed back home with their heads hanging low. They had barely sat down on the couch when another bombshell dropped online.
“Look at this…”
Jessica Holt played the recorded audio that had been leaked online for her husband to hear. They both recognized the voices, it was indeed their daughter’s.
“How could she say such things at a time like this?!” Ten Holt was furious.
In no time, the Holt family found themselves at the center of a storm.
Ten Holt couldn’t sit still. “Call her back immediately!” he growled.
Jessica Holt immediately called their daughter. Soon, Haley returned home. She had gone to the hospital to see Orion, but knowing her parents had left, she decided to come home.
“What is going on?!” Ten Holt played the recording for her.
Haley was just as confused. How did the conversation she had with Orion end up online so quickly? But she didn’t believe that Orion could be involved.
“It must be that Stephen Brown again.” Said Haley.
“Have you seen Stephen Brown?” asked Ten.
“Yes.” She lied. And she reassured her father. “Dad, don’t worry. Orion will help us.”
Ten Holt’s eye twitched. “What did you say? Did you tell Orion about our situation?”
Haley trusted Orion, “Dad, it has come to this point. Even if we don’t approach him, he will find out. Besides, he’s not the kind of person who holds grudges. Don’t think of him too negatively.”
Ten Holt fell silent for a moment, sighed, and said, “We can only trust him now.”
Orion had always been gentle and hadn’t done anything wrong. It was unlikely for him to be involved in this matter. He didn’t have that kind of cunning. It must be Stephen Brown who was trying to ruin them. Thinking this, Ten Holt felt relieved. Now he had no other choice. He could only trust Orion.
Suddenly, a few people in uniforms arrived at their house. They wanted to take Ten Holt to the station for questioning. After all, the situation had already escalated so much. Ten Holt was the backbone of the family; as his wife, Jessica Holt was really broken. Sin her husband was taken away, she had lost her focus.
Haley comforted her mother, “Mom, don’t worry. Orion will save Dad.”

Orion came over that evening. He conveyed Stephen Brown’s intentions. Of course, he had his own motives as well. But when spoken out loud, it could only be Stephen Brown’s intentions. Stephen was the visible smokescreen anyway.
“This matter can be resolved with money.” Said Orion.
“How much does he want?” Haley asked, but Jessica Holt spoke up before she could finish her sentence.
“We don’t have any money left at home. Last time, he extorted all the available funds from our family and the company.” Said Jessica.
“He mainly wants the Holt family’s assets. He said if there’s no cash, we can use the company’s business as collateral.” Said Orion.
Haley exploded, “Is he trying to swallow our family?”
“Don’t worry, even if we lose the assets of the Holt family, I won’t let you go hungry.” Said Orion.
Haley was deeply moved and threw herself into Orion’s arms. “You’re my only support now.”
Orion patted her shoulder. “I’m here, don’t be afraid.” He paused for a moment and continued, “Money is just material possessions. Right now, the priority is to rescue your father. Besides, sacrificing some of the company’s business won’t make the company collapse. Once your father is out, with his abilities, it will be easy to rebuild and prosper the company. Saving Dad is what matters now.”
Haley agreed, “Yes, Mom.”
Jessica Holt hesitated.
Haley persuaded, “Mom, we don’t know if Dad is being mistreated inside. We need to rescue him as soon as possible, and without Dad here, there are decisions and documents that only you can handle.”
Jessica Holt was quickly convinced. After all, rescuing her husband was the most urgent thing she wanted to do now. She looked at Orion and said, “Tell me, what should I do?”
A shadow crossed Orion’s eyes, and he replied with a serious expression, “There are some documents that require your signature.”
“I’ll sign,” Jessica Holt immediately agreed, without even thinking twice.
Orion went to fetch the prepared documents. He handed them to Haley and said, “This is an unavoidable situation. In order to save your father, we can only sacrifice these business matters of the company.”
Haley listened to Orion’s words without even looking and handed them directly to her mother. “Mom, Dad is not here, only you can sign these.”
Jessica Holt clenched her hand, made up her mind, and picked up the pen to quickly flip to the signature section. She signed her name swiftly, without even bothering to read the content. “I’ll go find Mr Brown right now,” Orion said, taking the documents and putting them in his briefcase.
“We’ll be waiting for your news at home,” Haley said.
Orion glanced at her, his gaze meaningful, and without a word, he turned and left.

Haley had been waiting for news anxiously, and neither she nor her mother had slept well. They thought that once Jessica signed those documents, everything would be over, but it wasn’t the case. They were waiting for the official investigation to begin.
The police seemed to have had enough evidence, and they issued a statement, saying that the results would be announced in three days. Haley and her mother were confused.
Haley went to find Orion to ask about the situation but she didn’t see him anywhere. She could only go back home first, but as soon as she arrived, she heard her mother’s angry shouts. Haley realized immediately that something had happened. She hurriedly ran into the house.
Stephen Brown was sitting on the sofa without any courtesy, even crossing his legs as if this place were his own home. Haley was infuriated as well. She rushed forward, wanting to hit Stephen Brown.
“You caused my dad to be arrested, you beast!” Haley shouted.
Stephen Brown had a cold expression on his face, he grabbed her falling hand and forcefully threw it aside. Haley stumbled and sat on the ground. Jessica quickly came over to help her daughter up. The mother and daughter held each other, looking at Stephen Brown with fear in their eyes.
There was not an ounce of sympathy in Stephen Brown. He was impatient. “I don’t have time to waste with you, get out of here immediately.”
“What gives you the right to tell us to leave? This is our home!” Haley glared at him fiercely.
Jessica held her daughter’s hand tightly and shook it forcefully, whispering in her ear, “We’ve been deceived. The documents Orion had me sign weren’t just about transferring the business, but also transferring ownership and agreeing to transfer fixed assets.”
Haley couldn’t help but shake. “H-How is that possible?!”
She thought Orion wouldn’t deceive her. She was still deluding herself even now.
Stephen Brown sneered, “Do you think everything today was accomplished by me alone? Without an insider, could I have been so successful?”
Haley suddenly shouted in anger, “I don’t believe it!”
Stephen Brown coldly curled his lips, disdainful and icy. He ordered his subordinates to throw them out of the villa. This place would no longer be named Holt. Haley was dragged out, and they were casually thrown on the side of the road. They had never experienced such treatment before. Haley couldn’t accept the fact that Orion was in cahoots with Stephen Brown. She didn’t even care about her mother, she ran off to find Orion, wanting to ask him face to face.
There was no one at the company, so she went to Orion’s house. Finally, she saw Orion talking to his mother, and she ran in angrily, “Orion, Stephen Brown said you’re in cahoots with him, that you had a hand in my dad’s arrest, is it true?!”
Orion slowly raised his gaze, his eyes cold and distant.
